Abel was born during a hard time in French history, during it's revolution. A revolution that was formed by quick thinking, brute strength and the power of human endeavour. In this place aspects of Menoetius thrived. Although the Titan was killed and banished to Tartarus after the War it's very hard to keep such powerful creatures in a certain place and thus aspects of the Titan split and maniphested itself of the mortal plain but only during times of great conflict, bloodshed and anger; somethings all too common in 18th Centuary France.
Abel's mother is lost to history and Menoetius doesn't even remember her himself. She was most likely a prostitute though it cannot be proven and when the baby boy was born she left him for dead; in a place of revelution, blood and desies. Menoetius was forced to look after his son, something he knew he couldn't do and thus offered Abel up to Hera to care for in the promise that Menoetius would never again manifest himself on Earth and keep himself prisoner in the bowels of the cold Earth.
And thus Abel grew up on Olympus, never knowing his true parentage. He was trained as one of Hera's guard and thus recieved good training and grew up to be a handsome and strong demititan. Abel grew up thinking he was a spirit and the memories of his youth were thrown like sand into a strong, scattering. He became famous on Olympus and among the Nymphs who thought him very handsome with large muscles and a chiselled jaw. He was always clad in purest white with a golden belt, helmet and bracelets. He never trained with armour as he thought it cowardly, something that seemed to generate in his was a thirst for violence.
Though some Nymphs, Spirits and Gods become rather fond of the demititan champion others became angry, greedy. Why should the son of a traitor be held in such high esteem, The God's have been to kind, he'll turn out just like them, He's his father's son. Rumours soon became plans and plans became conspirecies between many a jealous Spirit. They plotted for days, months, year or genturies; time goes slowly on Olympus. Abel discovered his parentage in a dream, a vision of his father chained in Tartarus, screaming and howling. A deep, primal hate sparked in Abel and he was blinded by rage, strking down a fellow guard in a fit of anger.
Abel was banished to Earth and forced to walk and become mortal once more. He was angry and rash and although many a monster attempted to take his life they were no match, all exploding into dust at the demititan's hand. Abel's hate stewed and grew like a poisonous plant, climbing up the walls of his personality. He arrived in America and met others of similar blood called Champions of Othrys
. Abel lay down his sword in feilty and promised them his life for their cause.
