History

Frank Anderson, born and raised in Ireland, met a beautiful woman at the age of 18. Of course, he loved lots of women, but he decided to make her his. So he asked the beautiful woman out, Asteria, accepted. They went out for a few drinks and eventually became drunk. They managed to get to Frank's apartment and Asteria slept with him. In the next morning, Frank woke up with a hangover and Asteria missing. Not being tied down to any children, Asteria put the two babies in a basket and sent them to Frank. There was a knock on Frank's door and he opened it to two babies in a basket. Not wanting them but had to, he took them in. There was a note saying Asteria was a goddess and could not be with him. Frank became enraged. When Adrian and Jasmine were 8, they were fonded by the sky and slept on the roof to avoid their abusive father. There, he wouldn't dare go up there to risk his life. But, they did. they took risks and lived life. But, during the day, Adrian and Jasmine were bullied for being different. Adrian was gay and Jasmine was lesbian. Jasmine and Adrian had each other's backs. When they came home, Jasmine and Adrian were abused by their father. And to top it off, their father also had sex with other women. Prostitutes. Adrian and Jasmine couldn't take it anymore. They ran away with only eachother and some money. Just a few days later, police caught them on the streets and he said he was taking them back to their parents. Adrian and Jasmine begged him not to because they abused them. Instead, he took them to an orphanage. It was the same. They were bullied by the other kids by being different and the caretaker also hurt them for being "bad children" when all they did was listen. Jasmine was called fat. Adrian was called retard. Jasmine decided not to eat anymore and that broke Adrian's heart. At age 10, a man named Kyle Clarkson wanted to adopt. They chose Jasmine and Adrian and the twins were glad. 2 years in the hellhole and they were finally free. But, Kyle wasn't what he seemed. At age 13, Kyle was the same as their father, but more hurtful. He beat Adrian with a belt and used Jasmine for human trafficking. Adrian said he'll save Jasmine from there abusive step-father, so he ran to find help and end up running into a teenage boy. The teenage boy gave Adrian a sword and said he had no time to explain himself. Adrian looked at the sword and with was made out of some sort of bronze. He ran back home with a chunk of the wall taken down. He ran inside and Jasmine was laying on the ground, hurt badly. He looked at Kyle, but he was dead. A freakishly large dog had killed their step-father and he noticed Adrian and charged at him. He dodged out of the way and threw the sword at him. Lucky for him, it hit the large dog in the back and he turned into golden dust. He picked up the sword and fixed up Jasmine. At age 16, Adrian and Jasmine knew the boy and his name was Maximus and he was the one who gave Adrian the sword. As for Jasmine's gift, he have her a bronze bracelet that turns into a katana. During school, they were still bullied for being different, but Maximus helped them stay out of trouble. Adrian and Jasmine still had a dramatic childhood. Whenever they said a specific word, Jasmine would cringe whilst Adrian would get mad. At gym class, two of the biggest jocks came up to Jasmine and Adrian. One of the jock pushed Adrian down by force and Jasmine kicked them in the balls. The jock slapped Jasmine and Adrian got beaten up. The jocks turned into this monster and Jasmine got out her katana which was made out of the same bronze of Adrian's sword and killed both. Maximus had trained them to fight and kill monsters. Jasmine help Adrian up and Maximus came from out of nowhere and took the two to camp. This time, Maximus explained that he was their protector sent by their mother, Asteria, their god parent and they were demigods. They had met 3 monsters in all and camp was a safe place for them. For 4 years, Adrian and Jasmine saw campers going in and out of camp, some never returning. All of these years, Adrian and Jasmine had been praying to their mother that they'll save them, but it never happened and some campers beat them up. Later on, the twins went into the dark part of the forest and met someone from the BC. Before he killed them, Adrian and Jasmine said that they wanted to be apart of his faction, and his faction was the Liberi Superum and they were planning to overthrow the gods. Adrian and Jasmine liked that idea and went with him. They can trust him, because they realized their dream: to overthrow the gods as well.

Offensive Children of Asteria have the ability to summon miniature stars which can be thrown like a weapon; the stars, however, dissipate quickly. Children of Asteria have the ability to focus an intense beam of plasma which will burn anything it touches. Defensive Children of Asteria have the ability to summon a cluster of miniature stars directly in front of them which can be used to block incoming attacks; the stars, however, dissipate quickly. Children of Asteria have the ability to conjure a mock shield, made of very small stars, which can be used to defend from attacks; prolonged use may burn the conjurer. Passive Children of Asteria can see perfectly in the night as if it were day. When the stars are out, children of Asteria always know their location. Children of Asteria have the ability to create temporary light sources, similar to concept of a flare, which will light an area for a short time.
