Christian Dimas, 26 years old at the time, was working at the coffee shop where he served the drinks for already a couple of months. Nyx saw him and thought he was a worthy man to have children with, so she decided to enter the shop and engage in a conversation with him. The two soon warmed up to each other and seated at a table when Christian was done with his shift. He wanted to know her better, he wanted to be with her. He wanted her. So, Christian invited her to his apartment and she agreed. He didn’t want to rush anything, but they still had a night of desire and lust together.
The moment Nyx found out she was pregnant, she told him and she also told him that she was a Goddess, to which he reacted surprised, but it didn’t change the way he felt about her. He was really happy that they were going to have a daughter, but he was kind of disappointed because he wanted to marry her first. She then told him that she wasn’t one for commitment but was glad they were going to have a child. So, Christian never brought up the subject about commitment anymore.
3 months later, Nyx gave birth to their daughter, Alexandra, in Olympus while Christian was out of town to visit his family. With the help of Aphrodite, Nyx took care of Alexandra but tried to keep a weak bond with Alexandra so it wouldn’t pain her to leave her behind. Once Christian was back in town, Nyx left Alexandra on the porch to Christian’s house in a basket along with a letter telling him the location of Camp Half-Blood, and a celestial bronze Katana, that she asked Hephaestus to create, of which the blade could shrink into the hilt, along with dual-wielding daggers and throwing knives.
Christian was devastated that Nyx had left them, but he was glad he had the custody over Alexandra. He took an extra job which payed more, but he’d have to work more. So, he asked his sister, Chloe, to help raise Alexandra, to which she gladly agreed. The two made sure that Alexandra had a nice childhood and always avoided the subject of her mother. When Alexandra was 12, Christian took the opportunity to teach her how to use the Katana, throwing knives and daggers when she wasn’t in school or hanging out with her best friend, Mariana.
It was in school that Alexandra suspected she had ADHD and Dyslexia, so her father had her tested to see if her suspicions were right. They were. She had trouble with all of her classes, and she failed most of them, except Latin, because of her Hispanic ethnicity, English and Greek. She was often bullied because of her ADHD and Dyslexia, and Mariana was slowly starting to do the same thing, though Alexandra didn’t notice it.
At the age of 13, Alexandra, Mariana and the rest of the class took a 2-week trip to the US, where they would learn about history. In a museum, Alexandra got attacked by a smaller Hellhound. Alexandra managed to defeat the Hellhound with her Katana, but didn’t escape the fight without some injuries. When Alexandra told Mariana, Mariana thought she was crazy and believed everything everyone said when they bullied her.
So, this led to Mariana becoming one of the bullies, and told everyone Alexandra’s secrets. Her father found out about the bullying and had her home-schooled by her aunt. Alexandra didn’t dare to say a word about the Harpy attack, but she knew she was in danger. After 2 years of suspecting that some monster was following her around when she was out of the house, Alexandra got attacked again.
This time, she was in an alley close to home. Luckily, she had brought the throwing knives with her, and she fought the monster, which was a Harpy. The Harpy caused her more injuries than the hellhound, and she also defeated it, but this time she couldn’t keep it a secret because the injuries were very visible.
Christian and Chloe immediately booked the first plane to New York with their remaining money and brought her to Camp Half-Blood. Chloe returned to Évora, where they had raised Alexandra since she was on the porch to Christian’s house, though Christian decided to stay in New York. Alexandra was claimed by her mother after she resided in the Camp for a couple of days and Christian was murdered by his boss, because he still owed him a large amount of money and he never payed it back.
