Appearance[]
Her curly hair reaches down to her back tied up in a ponytail, it gleams a rich, black, color. To match her dark hair, her eyes are an even darker brown. Also, as if she was wearing lipstick, her lips boast a red color. Unlike most people she knows she's only 5 feet.. small for her age... Not only that, but she's also very thin, compared to her classmates.
Personality[]
Alyssa Mangdon is very shy and quiet to people she doesn't know, barely uttering a squeak. When you're her friend though, she sticks by you, through and through. For most people, she may hurt them many times, by saying stuff that they consider mean. She is very protective of her family, and loves them a lot. When on the battlefield, Alyssa has as much energy as a dog, alive, she can spin her sword fast and defeat enemies.
History[]
One day, Ariel Mangdon was invited to go to an actress' funeral. She was kind of shy at the funeral, and a man, who called himself Ryan Yang, was extremely nice to her and she found out that they had a lot in common. After going for their first date in a restaurant, Ariel knew she'd found a perfect man. Only a few months after, Ariel announced that she was pregnant. The man then told her who he was, where to take their child, and many other stuff needed. Then, he bid Ariel goodbye, telling her that he was sure that they would meet again.
Young Alyssa had a wonderful childhood. Her mom showed her how to play some sports, they went out on many outings, and she was smart in most subjects. But for some reason, she had a fascination in death. Alyssa was also taught many ways to fight, that her mom had insisted on. School though wasn't as nice.. She was considered a loner and everyone stayed away from her. Alyssa was not bullied, the bullies had learned after dealing with her, but she didn't have any friends either. Until Logan Bruno, another loner came along, and her mom asked her to befriend him, because she had had a dream telling her that Logan was a demigod that would take Alyssa to camp. She did, and Logan quickly became her best, and only, friend. Secretly without Logan knowing, Ariel told him to promise not to ever take Alyssa to camp until he was told to by Ariel. Logan agreed, and promised to not take her before Ariel gave an OK. On her 11th birthday, her mom gave Alyssa a green hair band, which she got from Hades, and told her to always wear it. Alyssa did, and her mom showed her how to use it.
When Alyssa was 11, her first monster attack occurred. It was a harpy that was attacking, and easy by demigod standards, but Alyssa would never have managed it without the help of a friend, Logan Bruno. Alyssa hadn't even managed to stop it from tearing her apart for a minute, when Logan took out his necklace, touched the locket part, and started battling the Harpy with a celestial bronze sword. He yelled "Alyssa, take out your hairband!" She did, and slowly, Logan, using both swords, managed to defeat the Harpy.. "This is what camp trained me for." He said, when Alyssa asked how he managed it.. Logan had always been her protector, and they were like brother and sister. More and more monster attacks came, but as Alyssa was being trained in fighting by Logan and his friends, and the fact that Ariel and Logan's friends (satyr would pitch in, they were able to stop them.
On her 13th birthday, Ariel had a conversation with Logan, and soon Ariel was bidding her farewells. Teary-eyed, the two of them embraced and went their separate ways, Ariel knew what she had done was for the best, but she knew she would miss Alyssa. Then, Ariel went and got a plane ticket for the 2 of them, which would bring Logan and Alyssa to camp half blood. They arrived safely...

Children of Hades have the ability to resurrect a single undead corpse which will fight, mindlessly, along side them until it is broken down or dismissed.
- Children of Hades can create very small fissure in the ground which spew small amounts of hellfire for a few moments before closing.
- Children of Hades have the ability to create a small tremor which topples everyone nearby off their feet.
- Children of Hades can bend shadows around them, concealing them for a short time.
- Children of Hades have the innate ability to vanquish undead with a single attack.
- Children of Hades are able to communicate with the dead.
- Children of Hades can sense when a mortal or half-blood that they know has died through a "buzzing" in their ears.
- Children of Hades have the ability to Shadow Travel, a sort of teleportation; the further the distance, the more energy drained.
- Children of Hades have a heightened control over undead and can usurp dominance from others who control undead.
- Children of Hades can cause someone to feel as if they are trapped in a coffin for a short time, unable to move, however while the user is maintaining the hold, they themselves also can't move to attack
- Children of Hades have the ability to summon a large group of undead, about ten, which can then be controlled by the mind of their summoner; the longer they are summoned, the more the summoner is drained.
- Children of Hades can, for a short time, enhance their weapons, or the weapons of allies, with a diamond coating that makes them unbreakable and stronger, this only lasts for a short time
- Children of Hades radiate death.
- They tend to have dark attitudes
