She's very lovely with long curly blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and a few freckles over her nose. She is curvy, and stands at 5'8.

While she was visiting her parents in Minnesota, Kali met Deimos. It is was love at first sight and the two began to date. 2 months later, Kali was overjoyed, as was Deimos, to discover she was pregnant. Celestyn was born March 14, 1986 to a 21 year old named Kali Tangviik, and Deimos. But 2 months later, Deimos disappeared.
After his disappearance, Kali was very depressed but was strong for her baby. She spoiled and deeply loved the young Celestyn. But when she was 10, Kali began dating a mysterious man (Phobos). Soon afterwards, they had a daughter named Ernestine, much to Celestyn's dismay. Celestyn didn't trust nor like Phobos and even her young half-sister, Ernestine. A few months later, when Ernestine was 6 months old, Phobos left Kali and the family without a goodbye or an explication.
Kali, who was still deeply in love with him, went insane with grief. She started drinking heavily and beating her oldest daughter, then her youngest. She blamed her children for Phobos' disappearance (especially Celestyn), so she made their lives' a living hell. From then until she was 13, Celestyn was abused by her mother. Celestyn became even more bitter to Ernestine, blaming her and her father on the abuse.
When Celestyn was 13 (and Ernestine was 3), Kali gave into her major depression and shot and killed herself into front of her children. Kali's suicide was enough to push Ernestine over the edge and make her mentally cracked but Celestyn remained sane. Ernestine and Celestyn were soon sent to live with her grandmother, Rosemary Tangviik. It was there that strange things started happening to Ernestine, as well as Celestyn. But, Celestyn never told her grandmother, as Ernestine was having the same problems.
On July 19, 2000, Celestyn left her grandmother's house and went to her best friend, Christine's, house.
Meanwhile, the tiny fire that an insane Ernestine had lit was spreading even more and was getting bigger and soon the whole house was on fire. Looking out of the window, she saw a lot of black smoke. Horrified, she ran home to discover her home on fire. Other neighbors were gathering outside, seeing the smoke from the windows. While they rushed a dead Rosemary to the hospital, a neighbor discovered Ernestine in their yard across the street. They brought her over and comforted her and Celestyn.
Angry, Celestyn blamed Ernestine for the death of their grandmother as they were taken to an orphanage in New York City. After that, Celestyn didn't talk to Ernestine, even when Ernestine followed her around. But a few months later, Celestyn was adopted by a nice couple and Ernestine was left alone in the orphanage.
Celestyn's new parents were named Gabriel and Madeline Marshall. Celestyn's new life was perfect. Her parents spoiled her, she was popular and well-liked at her school, and she had many close, good friends, one of those being Blake Marmel. But, on her 15th birthday, every thing changed.
Alone, Blake visited her, telling her that it was time that he told her the whole truth. When she asked what he meant, he told her everything about Camp Half-Blood, demigods, and gods. He told her he was a satyr, and that she was a demigod. He also told her that he now needed to take her to Camp. Shocked but understanding, Celestyn left a note for her parents', explaining everything, before following Blake. They took a cab from her home-town of Brooklyn, New York to Long Island.
After the long car ride, both she and Blake were happy to leave the cab and race up a hill and through a strange gate into Camp. After a week, Celestyn was claimed and sent to her new cabin.
