History Before Camp
Jeanne was the oldest in the Mendes family and when she was three, her little sister, Coraline was born and their father got a promotion in Brazil, where he and his wife were from, so they moved there. After three years, their triplet siblings, Paul, Harold, and Harriet were born. They grew unknown of the Greek world since they were mortals, except for the clear-sighted Coraline and Paul, and they eventually grew up and their lives were different directions. Harold was the rebellious one in the family, after dropping out of high school, he slept around and took drugs.
After his siblings, Paul and Harriet graduated, he found a job at a DVD shop where he met Ariadne. After she left, he sobered up and started caring about his life so he worked hard to raise Daniel which was born before she left .When he was just 2, Harold met another goddess in the guise of a normal, mortal lady and fell in love for her. This eventually led to another affair in which she gave birth to the twins, Leo and Kasey. After that she left them. Harold raised them up good and let them attend a nice school. Daniel always bugged his dad on where is his mom or what happened to her. He said that she left them, which was half-true and in which Daniel obviously believed.
During middle school, his cellphone addiction began and at early high school his game addictions began. He was always at the house, playing games or talking/texting on the phone. His grades began to lower but not to the point he failed, which was a good thing. He also got in a bad crowd and were always out late but he later cleaned up his issues, except for his game and phone addiction. He was popular with the girls but one got to the point she's stalking him around the school. One day, Daniel was going to the comfort room when the stalker girl barged in and turned into a harpy. Since he was a demigod, the harpy can smell his blood. His only possession with him at the time was his bag so he used it to attack the harpy. Seeing that the harpy is still not gonna back down, he mimicked the moves of the characters in his video games like jabs, uppercuts and forward kicks which was pretty good, considering he played video games for too long. The harpy stumbled to the ground, being knocked off with his attacks. Actually, his ADHD helped him in fighting the harpy. While the harpy was trying to recover, he took the chance to run away and sped home to tell Harold everything that happened.
Meanwhile, Harold was asleep at the time. When he was asleep, he had a dream. His lover told him to bring him to Camp Half-Blood and leave him when something attacks him. When he woke up, Daniel was there, trying to wake him up. He told him what happened at school. Seeing that his ex-lover's requests was true, he brought him to Manhattan. But he wasn't sure where it is so he asked for directions but the people she asked said that there is no Camp Half-Blood in the place so he decided to take him home.
Suddenly, a hellhound appeared out of the forest and locked its eyes on them. When it was about to attack them, an arrow pierced the hellhound and left for dead. His dad ran away out of fright, not knowing Daniel is still there. Daniel froze in fright too and couldn't catch up to his dad when a satyr appeared. The satyr was the one who shot the arrow. He asked some questions about him and sensed that he was a demigod so he invited him to Camp Half-Blood.
At first he couldn't believe it because they thought it wasn't real but judging from the satyr, it was real so finally he agreed. But he thought about his dad but ignored the thought. He followed the satyr and ended up at Camp Half-Blood, where he was claimed by his mother. Shortly afterwards, his younger twins also made it to camp.

General & Misc Info
It's the game of life. Do I win or do I lose? One day they're gonna shut the game down. I gotta have as much fun and go around the board as many times as I can before it's my turn to leave.
He's a game addict. He won't have a day without touching either his PSP or PS2 and play for hours. When playing, he's having mood swings. One second you see him so happy and the next you see him cursing when his character dies. He's also a cellphone addict, talks or texts with his friends when or when not playing. He's not the flirty type and puts effort on getting to know a girl better. He's also laid back and pretty naive. Being the big brother, he still has responsibility over his younger siblings but since they're 16 already, he ignores much of their activities. Like all demigods, he's dyslexic and has ADHD.

There are plenty of skills I've learned from playing video games. It's more interactive than watching TV, because there are problems to solve as you're using your brain.

I like video games, but they are very violent. I want to create a video game in which you have to help all the characters who have died in the other games. 'Hey, man, what are you playing?' 'Super Busy Hospital. Could you leave me alone? I'm performing surgery! This guy got shot in the head, like, 27 times!'
