- This arena has all the typical things you'd find in an abandoned overgrown city, everything from flat surfaces to small buildings to tall skyscrapers, some crumbling, some still standing, lots of dark places to hide, including an underground subway tunnel. There are abandoned cars, and things can still be found within the buildings, perhaps even a few stray cats or dogs, or some smaller creatures such as rats and spiders.

Darius: On Alcaeus' command, Darius took cover within one of the abandoned buildings in town as the campers stepped in, stanced with his daggers. As soon as he saw Kate, he found the perfect chance to attack, stepping out of the building and in front of her, his daggers aimed at her. "Now, we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way." To demonstrate his power, he walks one step closer to her and brings a small amount of mental pain onto her, attempting to devastate her with a painful memory.
Kate: Kate flinches as the earliest part of her journey is revisited. She has no apparent weapons, but she gets into a defensive stance. What are you doing?
Darius: "Wrong answer..." He slashes at her chest with one dagger, and then at the upper part of her abdomen with the other, attempting to wound her. He then takes a few quick steps back and stands defensively.
Kate: Kate backs up quickly, avoiding both attacks. How can I give the wrong answer, when you didn't even ask a question? She has a silver ring on her right, index finger which she charges with electricity. She steps inward and punches towards Darius' gut.
Darius: He quickly steps aside and attempt to grab Kate's arm by the fist and twist her arm, enhancing the pain as he goes. He then goes for a slash across her abdomen with his dagger, attempting to injure her.
Kate: Her wrist is ensnared, but she manages to twist out of the way of the slash. It only seems fair to tell you... She says, wincing through the pain. Hand-to-hand is my forte. She attempts to break his grip by ducking behind him, which could cause his arm to twist if he continues to hold on, and attempting to knee him in the back.
Darius: He releases his grip on her hand just in time, empowered by her pain, but takes the knee to the back. He turns back towards her quickly and, lowering the severity of his own pain, he restabilizes. He then begins to inflict great mental pain upon Kate, attempting to bring her to a stunned state. As he does this, he empowers his daggers to inflict more pain.
Kate: Staggers back in pain. She manages to toss a fireball, but her reflexes have been slowed by the pain.
