Personality[]

Mitsuki is shy and introverted. She's kind, but doesn't actively seek out conversation with people she doesn't already know. Mitsuki bottles up her emotions because she doesn't want to hurt anyone or make herself feel any worse than she already does. She stands by her friends loyally and would do most anything for them. She's sensitive and emotional. She is very stubborn. Mitsuki is anxious about everything, mostly about being hurt or robbed. Mitsuki holds grudges, and isn't very trusting.

History[]

W I P (kind of)

Haruki was simply minding his buisness, sweeping up the graveyard he worked at. A young woman walked up to him.  "Are you here for a visit or.." Haruki said. "Yes, sort of." she said. Haruki and the woman started talking and they found themselves in love. They started dating and had a girl who they named Mitsuki. The woman (who turned out to be Melinoe) had to leave them. She only left a note. It simply said, "Gone." These words haunt Mitsuki, pun intended. Well, actually, the back of the note said more. Haruki only saw this until later. Here's what the back said:

"Dear Haruki,

I'm sorry I had to leave you. But as the godess of ghosts, I have important buisness. I cannot stay. Us gods can never stay. But, I hope that you take good care of our daughter. Call her what you like. I'm lonely, sure, but I have to do my job. Please do not be afraid. I hope you send our daughter to Camp Halfblood when she needs it. Monsters will come for her, every year or so. Hopefully, I won't have to see you soon, if you know what I mean."

Mitsuki grew up with a fairly normal life. She never had that many friends, but she was fine with that. The only way she really ever made friends was from clubs. She was in orchestra, and made some friends. She met Layla and Roland, her new best friends. Layla introduced her to painting. Mitsuki likes painting, soccer, viola, reading, swimming, video games, gardening, and stargazing. Her home life was peaceful, and she rarely got into arguments with her father. She loved him and he loved her, but they didn't know how to express it. She has an ok relationship with Amelia. Mitsuki's school life was fine. She got good grades, but she didn't talk to anyone. If someone talked to her, she'd talk to them. No-one knew much about her, she didn't know too much about them. Sometimes she'd be bullied, but not too much. Sometimes people would say she conjured up ghosts, because things just seemed to fall or move around her. This is probably because of being daughter of Melione. People often say she talks to herself. Or, atleast, mortals do. She will sometimes chat with ghosts. Sometimes unwillingly, but most of the time, on purpose.

I was born to Haruki Tokoro and Melinoe. Shortly after Melinoe had to leave us Haruki, (my father) fell in love with an American woman who was on vacation in Japan. The woman was named Amelia Batwing. Haruki and Amelia started dating when I was 2. Soon, we all moved to New York City on an airplane. When I was 9, Amelia and Haruki got married and me and my dad changed our lastnames. I never had a close relationship with Amelia, but we got along fine. We lived in a small cabin. When I was 10, I met a boy named Roland, and we became fast friends. Roland was always eager to be with me, and I found myself a best friend. One day,  Roland and I were going on a field trip for school. We were going CAMPING. We had to wear this yellow and blue shirt so people would see us. I had a lot of fun, despite how weird looking the shirts were. Roland encouraged me to go with him to explore the forest. I agreed, reluctantly. We were walking through the forest and I was starting to get worried we were lost. "Um.. Shouldn't we head back now?" I said. The black hoodie I was wearing over my t-shirt was starting to not help against the cold. "We're almost there." Roland said. "We're almost where?" I asked. And suddenly a huge monster appeared out of no where! Well, somewhere, but, you know what I mean! It was this big hellhound the size of a bear! I was understandably freaked out and shrieked at Roland something like, "WHAT THE FLIP IS GOING ON?" I looked around for a weapon or shield of some sort. I picked up a broken piece of glass. "It'll have to do." I thought. I took the sharp piece of glass and threw it at the hellhound. And then it started chasing me. I picked up branches and twigs and threw them.  I managed to lose it by hiding. "Think, Mitsuki, THINK!" I was thinking harder than anyone has ever thought. The rest of the glass bottle I threw shimmered next to me. I was interupted by Roland screaming "HELP HELP HELP HELPY HELP!" I took the glass bottle. Roland looked like his pants were about to fall off. Actually, they did. He had goat legs. Like a satyr. He's a satyr. Just let that sink in. The hellhound was chasing Roland. "Fetch it, weird dog!" I said and threw it at him. I managed to confuse it by running around in circles while it chased me. I jumped behind a tree. And then it appeared in front of me. I grabbed another glass piece, and tried to stab it in the throat. Eventually, I gave up. I wanted to cry. I prayed to myself "Just let SOMETHING help me." And suddenly I saw a ghost. A snarky one, from the looks of it. I just sat still while watching the poltergeist fight the hellhound. I guess I summoned it. Eventually, the poltergeist killed the thing. The hellhound evaporated into dust and a clump of fur. The poltergeist also disappeared. After a few tries, it evaporated into golden dust. I shoved the fur in my pocket. "What was that about?" I asked. "I'll explain once were at Camp Halfblood." Roland said. "C'mon, just tell me a little! Be vague! Just let me know!" I said. "Fine. You're a demi-god. A half-blood. Daughter of a greek godess. " He said. I had nothing to say after that. Then, we walked to camp. I had a limp from the many attacks I didn't mention. Roland helped a little with attacking, mostly just distracting the monster. He helped me walk to camp.  Eventually, we got to Camp Half-Blood. Oh, and Roland revealed he's a satyr. Why did I forget that.

Powers[]

  2. Children of Melinoe can send shockwave-like blasts made of solid ectoplasmic energy which feel like a very powerful punch on contact, also momentarily stunning whoever it contacts.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Melinoe have the ability to become intangible for short periods; making them immune to attacks but also unable to attack naturally.
  2. Children of Melinoe are able to manipulate the tangibility of ghosts around them to form a shield, that is no larger than the user, to protect themselves.

  2. Children of Melinoe have the ability to summon a banshee, which will instantly begin wailing and stun anyone who is not intangible for a short time before vanishing.
  3. Children of Melinoe, while intangible, can travel in this manner as a ghost would, disappearing and appearing in another location, however the longer the travel the more it drains the user.

Children of Melinoe have the ability to transform a weapon into an intangible state for a short time, making it so no one can touch it. They also have the ability to possess an object for a short time and then attack or defend with it. If the object is struck, they are expelled from it.
