Parents:
Christoff was a handsome man with a lot of time on his hands, though he was a photographer of scenery. He was kind of like a nomad. He never really stayed in one place since he photgraphed different sceneries. He was well-spririted and very understanding. And once, he promised himself he would follow the rainbow. Only because he knew something amazing was hiding behind it.
One day, while taking pictures in the rain. He saw a slim sihlouette spreading out her arms. And he swore when she did that a rainbow appeared. He took pictures of the rainbow mesmorized. He didn't even notice her approching him. When he put the camera down he jumped. The woman was right infront of him. She smiled and it felt like all of his worries melted away.
They two started talking and Iris / Arquelle became fond of this British photographer. They met often and one thing led to another. He never saw her again. A few days later he heard a knock at his door, of course he was renting the home. He only saw a colorful basket, with a wide-eyed, baby who was giggling. He automatically smiled. He took the baby and raised it as Nadielle. After realizing that a child this young could not be moving places all the time he decided to settle down in London. He bought a home and sent her to school.
Young Life:
Nadielle was a charming young girl. She made alot of friends in kindergarten, her teachers loved her. She always rose peoples spirits. She was never jealous, never unhappy, never unsatisfied. She and her father loved going on picnics on empty fields. Her father taught her about photography and different types of scenery.
Though Nadielle was nice, people took advantage of her often. They would 'act' hurt or sad so she could give them something in return.
Iris had sent her father a message in a letter. Inside it explained everything.
Letter:
Hello my dear,
You might not know who this is but this is Arquelle. There are somethings that I need to tell you.
My name isn't Arquelle but it's quite beautiful isn't it? My name is Iris. I am a goddess on Mount Olympus.
Remember all of the stories you teacher told you about Greek mythology? It is all true. Alas, all the heroes had died or have been recruited to Olympus but the monsters are not yet dead! Yes, my love. Monsters. They never truly die. They suffer for a while yes, but they always come back.
Our daughter Nadielle, quite a lovely name, is a demigoddess. As she grows older the monsters will start to track her scent. She will have to protect herself. Even now at the age of 12, you reading this letter, makes her scent even stronger.
At the bottom of this envelop will be a gift. It's not to shabby, but I am sure you will both love it. Give it Nadielle, she will know when to use it. This gift will protect her from death. Also my charming king, there is a camp for children like her. It is Camp Half-Blood. There is also a map in this envelop.
My dear this is all I can say. I love you, and I miss you aswell. Please move on from me it's for the best.
-Love, Iris. xoxo.
When he read the letter he didn't feel sorrow he felt as if someone had lifted a weight from his chest. In the envelop was a simcard with a thin but sturdy cord running through it. He gave the necklace to Nadielle and told her the same thing Iris had said, she will know when to use it when the time is right.
First Attack-
Nadielle was 13 and alone at the park when a hellhound appeared out of nowhere. She screamed and ran away from it. He pounced on her clawing her leg in the process. She cried out, and tears fell from her eyes. USE THE NECKLACE a random voice in her mind said. She ripped of her necklace and it turned into a celestial bronze sword, she shut her eyes and slashed at the hellhound. Seconds later she felt sand on her face. She opened her eyes and screamed again and dropped the sword. Appearing from it was a picture of the same hellhound being decapitated. She trembled as she grabbed its hilt, her thumb accidentally pushing on a button. The sword slid back into a necklace. She didn't put it back on her neck, she was terrified of that thing. She limped home, trying to stop the tears from her eyes. When she got home she cried to her dad, who comforted her throughout the time. He told her about how there would be more monsters and how she would need to protect herself. He explained why the hellhound attacked her. He also told her about her scent and how it would only become stronger. Sadly, he was being selfish with his daughter. He didn't want her to leave him at such a young age so he waited.
Second Attack-
She was 14 at school alone when the sub wanted to see her after class for some reason. The sub was beautiful, long hair, green eyes, full lips. Nadielle wondered why she didn't have a ring on that finger. But as soon as she thought that the sub lunged at her . Nadielle shrieked and jumped to the side, she pulled off her necklace and held it infront of her. She was shaking again, but she decided to atleast try to look brave. The sub then changed, she literally demonized. Her hair turned into fire, her eyes became more peircing than they were before, She grew fangs and became extremely pale. She lunged for Nadielle once again. Nadielle ducked a little to slowly and the demon, had scratched her. She made another lunge but sadly made the wrong move, Nadielle's sword came in contact with her skin and she disengrated. She forced herself not to look at the picture and pressed the button, tying the necklace back. She left the school and told her dad what happened. He sighed and told her to get in the car.
Getting to Camp Half-Blood.-
Getting to camp wasn't that hard, only the fact that her father kept getting lost but they managed to get there in one piece. On the eve of Nadielle's fifteenth birthday, she was welcomed into camp. She kissed her father goodbye and started a new life a Camp Half-Blood.
Weapons: Camera Celestial Bronze Sword. The sword is basically a camera. Since she and her father loved photography, Iris thought it would be a good idea to give her a camera sword. It really wasn't.. she gets nightmares from it. The sword automatically takes pictures of what ever it kills. Nadielle can choose whether or whether not she wants to see it. There's only one button on it. It's a red button that she presses so it can turn back into a necklace.
