History Before Camp
Roland Cardew was never rich, well off, or any other form of wealthy. He started working in at a gasoline station at a young age; while working there, he met a woman with black hair, bright hazel eyes, and striking facial features. He was always a ladies man, or at least he tried to be. Every night, once every full moon, she'd sit outside the station, the wind puffing at her hair softly, and gaze at the sight, until the morning dew was dusted upon the metallic surfaces and vegetation. One day, when Roland was feeling extra cocky, he decided to step outside and try and charm her. He was good looking, he had Pandia's same shade of black hair, though he had dark brown eyes, fair skin, whereas Pandia's was a ghastly pale, and a muscular build. Pandia fell for him within time, he was never her main attraction, the moon always had that place. After the dew layered the scenery, Roland took her out, and he ended up having a one night stand with her. When he woke up, the moon was waning, and a note was left for him, from Pandia, explaining her identity, and what their child would come to be.
Roland continued to work hard, so he could get a place of his own. At the time, he was living with his mother, it took him 3 months to make enough money from various jobs to be able to pay for an apartment. 6 months after his move to his new apartment, he got another message from Pandia, this time it came with a dreaded attachment. Roland wasn't financially prepared to raise, pay, and care for a child.
The start of his new life with his daughter, who he named Phoebe, was definitely rigid. After a mere few weeks, he could no longer afford the rent, so he had to leave his apartment and go back to his mother's house. He stayed there for another year, then got enough money for his own house, rather than apartment. He moved in quickly, Phoebe was still a child.
Phoebe grew up happily, she loved television and playing with toy kitchens and make-up. When she was 3 years old, her father met another woman, who was Persephone. He dated her for several weeks, until he got her pregnant, and she left. Soon, he was given another child, this time, twins.
When Phoebe started school, she started feeling left out, as her father was a single parent, and watched over the twins when he wasn't working, a housekeeper taking his place when he was. School came naturally to her though, she made a friend, who would grow up with her, but her opinion on her would waver. Her name was Savannah.
Phoebe grew up close to Savannah, up until the third grade, when she had to move temporarily. When Phoebe came back, her friendship with Savannah was rekindled to a lesser extent, but she met a another girl named Lisa, who she would grow up with then on. Friends come and go.
With each year, they grew apart, Phoebe was then left with another group of eccentric people, rather than one person. She stayed with them until her first monster attack. Having 3 demigods in a household attracted a large horde of Harpies, their father, whose sight was shrouded by the mist saw burglars. Phoebe saw what they were, though. She tried her best to fend off the horde alone, with a kitchen knife, but seeing as it wasn't Celestial Bronze, it had no effect. She eventually gave up, and that's when her powers kicked in.
In the heat of a desperate situation, Phoebe accidentally manifested a sword in her hand. Which she used to defeat the harpies and save her siblings. After, a satyr came to the house, and recruited Phoebe to camp, so she could train for the summer. She trained until she was sixteen, which was when she decided she wanted to stay at camp permanently.
Children of Pandia have the ability to form weapons out of pure moonlight which can be used for combat; however, only one weapon can be conjured at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who conjured it. Non-combative objects can also be made out of this, but cannot generate any electricity as moonlight does not have any working parts.
By deriving the moon's reflective surface, a physical aspect of it, children of Pandia have the ability to create a mirror made of pure moonlight which will reflect at least two weapons in order to attack others back. Once the mirror is used, it will break. It cannot be used repeatedly as it severely drains the user.
Children of Pandia have the ability to conjure a solid replica of the moon, roughly 2 to 3 times the size of the user, which will blunt most attacks for a short time but also slows the movement of the conjurer. Over time, the replica crumbles into dust.
Children of Pandia have the ability to use the gravity pull of the moon to slow down enemies giving them a high chance to dodge or avoid their opponent's attack.
Children of Pandia have the ability to bend the moonlight around them, concealing them for a short time.
Children of Pandia can see perfectly at night as if it were day.
Children of Pandia are innately stronger at night.
All the powers of a child of Pandia are based on the phases of the moon. When using powers during a new moon, their powers take dimmer forms and of weaker power. As the phase of the moon changes towards a full moon, the child's powers become brighter and stronger. At last, the powers reach its full power and brightness during a full moon. It becomes weaker as the phase changes towards a new moon and so on and so forth.
Children of Pandia have the innate ability to create a sort of magical dew—droplets of water produced by a plant in transpiration—and use it to greatly nourish and heal any plant the dew is used into. Should the dew is used on soil, it may make the affected soil to become more fertile.
Children of Pandia are weaker during lunar eclipses,as their source of power is dimmed and weakened by the Earth's shadow.
Children of Pandia have the ability to actually ride moonbeams they have created, or natural ones created by the moon.
Children of Pandia have the ability use moonlight to shine so bright that it blind the beholders for a short period of time.
Children of Pandia have the ability to create beams of moonlight, depending on the intensity they can use it to help them and others to see in the dark, or use it to distract an enemy momentarily by blinding them.
Children of Pandia have the ability to use the gravity push of the moon to pin down enemies to the ground, disabling them to move.
General & Misc Info
You know sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they’re as dull as a brick? Then there’s other people, when you meet them you think, “Not bad. They’re okay.” And then you get to know them and their face just sort of becomes them, like their personality’s written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful.
Phoebe can be a bit bashful, however once she gets to know you and analyse you better, she'll show off her fun personality. She can get witty, sometimes snippy, however, she always try to stay optimistic, if not at a halfway point between the contrary.
