It was a cold night, an unusually cold night in Australia. Tanya Carte was out, partying with some girlfriends. Drinking, dancing, drinking some more. The heat and pure animalistic need to let off stress. A backroom, a tall guy, handsome. More handsome than she had seen in years. Like godly handsome, though she did not believe in Gods. It was a quick thing,a one night stand. There would be no love in their eyes, no affectionate touches. Neither knew each other's name and they were okay with that. They enjoyed it.
A few months later, Tanya started noticing she was gaining weight. Morning sickness. Food cravings. She went out to the store, got a few tests and every single one came back positive. She expected it eventually though. See, she already had a son from a one night stand. He was nine years old, Danny. With her model's body, dancer's grace and exotic dancing; she attracted many a men to her bed. Little did she know, many a gods too.
Fast forward a few months and Rebelle Kitten Carte was born. Yep, that's me. My mother was obviously high when she named me. So, I was born. Little me. And that's an understatement. At eighteen now, I'm only 5'0 still. I grew up not in the best life. My mother was an alcoholic who didn't change her ways. She married my stepfather Tai when I was four. He was also a bastard. He hit my brother, pushed me around. Said we were little 'bastards'. Little 'Asian idiots' who wouldn't live until we were twenty.
I grew up resenting my mum. I grew up resenting my stepfather. My brother was my only friend. He look after me, fixed my cuts, bandaged my arms. He knew a lot about medicine and in the dark of the night, he would hold me and whisper that one day; we would be happy. He told me he would become a doctor and that he would save people. So, I grew up being put down. Set aside. We moved to America for Tai's job and at an American public school, bullying occured. They picked on me for being Asian in little pre-school. For looking funny. For being weird. Having bruises and scars marring a previously unmarred body.
When I turned seven and Danny turned sixteen, we left. Well, Danny left and took me with him. He told me that his friend was special; like us. That he had seen me playing with the winds a few days earlier. He told me we were special. I didn't want to leave though. In my seven year old mind, leaving meant danger. So Danny left. He didn't return. Not years later. When I turned 13, I was being abused full on. Verbally, physhically and... Sexually. My stepfather didn't stop. My pain went on and when I turned 13, sanctuary came in the form of my friend.
Toby was a satyr. He saw the abuse and said he would save me, that he knew my brother. He knew Danny. So I went with him. Anywhere would be better than the hell that was home. He took me to Camp and at first, it was great. I learned taht Danny had friends. He went on quests. And that he was loved. I saw through it all however. There was no cabin for me. I was a child of Eurus, Danny turned out to be a child of Zeus. I had been claimed on my 13th. Anyway, there was no cabin for me. I had to stay in the Big House. Danny, the child of Zeus, was practically worshipped due to his strength. He was a son of Zeus, the f****** ruler of Gods. My dad was just a minor god. A minor! No, I know my father is amazing. They molded it, Zeus did, so he seemed more powerful. But I put up with the stupid camp hierarchy anyway. For six years I put up with it.
Then, Danny died. He went on a quest with the only other child of Eurus at Camp, Sapphy. They both didn't make it. There was a large funeral for Danny. Everyone cried as he went into the Underworld. They payed all their attention on him, not on Sapphy. Little Sapphy didn't have many friends, she was just a kid of a God who was so minor he didn't have a cabin. She was my half- sister. My sister and brother both passed and everyone only truly mourned Danny.
So I left. I knew about the Broken Covenant. Who didnt? I gained help from another girl Charli who wanted to join. We left in clear daylight, taking weapons and supplies. Saying we were training. Everyone believed us because after all, we were just minor god's children. Nothing important. We left and Charli, using her powers to find the way, found you. And here I am.

I'm cynical, rude but I am doing what I need to survive. I might sound a bit too forceful and strong but really, all I want is for things to be fair. So no children get abused. So everyone is safe. OOC: She is quite shy at first, but gets more confident. She is passionate bout the Civitas Popularis cause. When people bring up childhoods, normally she flinches. Hides her pain. But she is slowly growing stronger. She yearns for physhical, affectionate contact and for love. For friends.
