Rielza The Wandering Weaver ~ Nymph of Hermes Owned by: Omnia Lesvos
Rielza is a sheep nymph who currently resides at the Sanctuary. Despite her immortal status, she looks like a mere teenager - save for the fact she carries a shepherd's crook wherever she goes. When all the animal nymphs were first created, Rielza decided to learn the ropes out in the world first. She arrived at camp on March 2015, didn't like it there, and returned to the mortal world to serve her purpose. Nearing the end of April 2015, she made a return due to what she claims a "frightening encounter" with something unspecified. Despite being bi-curious, Rielza shies away from most people, preferring the company of her flock.
Personality
Rielza's personality reflects her guarded animals - quiet, content, and very grumpy at times. She is as skittish as a sheep when meeting new people, but often warms up over time, generally cozy and sweet. She isn't that easy to anger, and her sweet temperament usually tempts people into deceiving her. When she does get started, however, she may just send her sheep to do the dirty work. Rielza occasionally becomes moody, and it is well advised to stay away from her during these times.
History
For years, the gods and goddesses have watched on while the humans developed through the years, as they advanced both personally and technologically. Lately one thing became quite clear to them; humans had a habit of being very irresponsible when it came to their environment and the animals that resided within it. They came to a decision, fearing for the safety and longevity of their sacred animals, they decided to create a special group of nymphs to help protect their sacred animals.
These nymphs’ life forces are each attached to the animal they are a nymph of; if that animal becomes extinct, the nymph will die. The gods considered the fact that there are thousands of animals and creatures that roam the earth, but not wanting to over-extend their powers, they decided to only concern themselves with the animals that are sacred to them. (And to be honest, that's kinda unfair for the animals who weren't a sacred animal for a god.)
When they aren’t out in the world helping other nymphs and helping to protect their animals, they spend their time at camp.
Rielza was one of these nymphs, created by none other than Hermes. When she was first created, she roamed the grasslands where sheep flocked to devour their fill. The Mist was woven so tightly that Rielza was rarely ever acknowledged by the mortal shepherds. Sheep loved her unconditionally, however, and the same shepherds would wonder how they were so frisky, unaware that Rielza was in their midst.
The sweet sheep nymph encountered many other nymphs of various species when she traveled around, even making somewhat stable acquaintances with a few, such as Thyto. For an immortal nymph, Rielza looked awfully young, fifteen at max, which pretty much discouraged most romantic relationships. After almost three years of roaming and tending to mistreated sheep flocks, Rielza believed she had done enough work to take a break. She reached camp on the third month of 2015, but quickly grew bored and returned to the mortal world to tend to the flocks.
Nearing the end of the fourth month, she went back to camp for a brief rest due to a frightening encounter with something...not human.
They have a telepathic/empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs. They also have a special, stronger connection with other animal nymphs.
As they are nymphs they do not age, remaining eternally young.
Their senses of smell, sight and hearing are enhanced, enabling them to sniff out monsters, track down demigods, etc.

They are able to summon animals to aid them; they have the best control over their own animal type.
Specific to each Animal Type[]
Each type of animal nymph has its life force attached to that species, so if a species were to go extinct the nymphs would die.
Each nymph is able to change into the type of animal he/she is, and only that type. So the bear nymph could not turn into a mouse, but he/she could turn into a grizzly bear, black bear, polar bear, etc.
While in animal form they have all the normal abilities of their animals. So if the nymph is a hawk nymph he/she can fly.
While in regular nymph/person form, they only retain passive characteristics/traits from their animals. So if the nymph is a hawk nymph, perhaps he/she remains claustrophobic in enclosed spaces but cannot fly.
