Parent's Meeting:
James Kelly was going to his workplace when he came across a beautiful young woman. He went up to her and said hello. She said hello too. He sat next to her and started a conversation and started talking to her for hours. After a long time of talking to her, he got a message saying that he is very late to work and has 10 minutes to get to work or else he gets fired, so he said bye to her and promised her to come back for her after he finishes work. She said goodbye and kissed him on the cheek and also left. After he finished work, he saw her there and went back to her...
The birth...
They always used to go out together. Amelia (the goddess) went everywhere James went. They were inseparable and no one could break their bond, absolutely no one. When she found out she was pregnant she left. James was quite worried about her. He doesn't know where she could have went. She left for five months. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl called Serena Amethyst Kelly. Before she left, they both agreed to that name for her. James picked Serena and Amelia picked Amethyst. It was perfect. A couple of days after her birth, Amelia came back to tell him she had to go. She told James the entire truth. She told him her real name ( the goddess that gets picked) and that she is a goddess and that her daughter is a demigod. She told him that he can see through the mist. She told him that one day their daughter will go to Camp Half-Blood where she will be safe. A satyr will come for her and take her to the camp when the time is right. He told her not to go. She told him not to tell Serena about her and about her demigod status. She also told him that she will have dyslexia and ADHD and to be careful with her. She said goodbye and she made him promise to protect her no matter what. She gave James a celestial bronze sword which was in disguise as a belt and told him to give it to her when she goes to the camp and then she went. James started to cry and went into depression for a short time.
Childhood:
James didn't know what to do when (the goddess) left him. He was confused, he didn't know what to do with her. All she did was cry. Cry, cry and cry. He got his sister to help her. His sister has two daughters so she had experience with children. James went to work while she takes care of Serena. Serena grew on her, so when she was one years old she made a HUGE party for her. She invited a ton of children. She made a huge deal of it. Serena couldn't talk or walk while the other children can. James came home to discover his sister hosted a party. He kicked everyone out and was angry with his sister. After two years of her life, she could finally talk but only simple words. He was worried about her, but remembered that she has dyslexia and ADHD. He made a huge fuss of her. He took her everywhere! But after he came back after 4 years of cruising the world, she could finally talk.
When Serena was 9 years old , she had a dream about her mother and father sitting watching the sunset giggling together. She didn't want it to end. But when she woke up, she asked her father a lot of questions about her mother but her dad's reply was I don't know where she is honey, please stop asking me questions. She kept wondering and wondering and wondering for eight years. She always tells her friend Tatiana about everything that she tells her dad. Tatiana makes up stories about what could have happened to her mum such as alien abduction. She went to a café that just opened and met a boy who changed her life forever.
Going to camp and discovering that she is a demigod:
She talked to the mysterious boy. She found out his name is Alexander and that he is thirteen like her. Little did she know that he is satyr that would come for her. They talked together for a long time and talked about numerous number of things. She forgot that she had to go to school. He said that he goes to the same school as her. They went to school and Tatiana was jumping and saying:You've got a boyfriend! But Serena was denying it. Alexander found her and took her to a private area. He told her that it is the right time to tell her. He told her that she was a demigod and she couldn't tell anyone. She didn't believe him and he showed her a book. She couldn't understand it. When he showed her a Greek writing book, she understood it. Then someone came inside the private area they were talking in: Hello, Serena. It's time to... DIE! Serena screamed very loud. She jumped on Alexander. The person turned into a harpy. ALEXANDER WHAT IS THAT?!? Serena screamed. Alexander said it is a harpy, which is a monster. WHAT?!?! WHY?!? Just run. Alexander replied. "Where are you going,children? Don't go, I've only just started!" The harpy replied. It hit Serena and she fell on her stomach. All of a sudden, the belt became a sword. What the heck?!" Serena exclaimed. Alexander asked her where did she get it from. The harpy hit Serena. Serena said "Help me! I'm under attack, I'll tell you later!" She tried to swing the sword but failed. "Alexander, help me!" Alexander held her hand which the sword was in. The harpy came down and tried to hit her. Alexander had an idea to stab her while she in on the ground. He got out his reed pipe to summon vines to grab the harpy's legs. He held Serena's hand."One, two, three!" They lunged the sword inside her stomach and the harpy fell down. "Curse you, Serena, curse you..." The harpy said. Serena collapsed to the ground. "Serena!" Alexander said. "I'm fine, just take me home." Alexander called her dad and he took her home. "Daddy!" Serena said. "Come on, honey, let's go home." her dad said. When they arrived home, he bandaged her arm since it got broken by the harpy. Her dad said it was time to tell her the truth about everything. He told her about her mum, their relationship, more about being a demigod, literally everything... except camp. He wanted her to know by herself. She was furious with her dad. Alexander asked her how she got the sword-belt. "What sword-belt?" Her dad asked. "Urm, I dound this belt in your drawer...while I was looking for mum's picture." "What! Don't ever look in my stuff again,young lady! Alexander, should I let her go now?" James said. "Yes." Alexander replied. "I'll go call the taxi." James said. "What taxi? Where are you taking me? No,I'm not leaving!" Serena said. "Alexander will tell you when you get there." Her dad said. Five minutes later, the taxi arrived. They took all of Serena's objects and put it in the trunk. James told the taxi driver the location of the camp. Serena started to cry: "Daddy, I don't wanna leave you! Please no! I'm begging you! Daddy!" Serena cried. " Honey, please, hush. Look, you'll only be gone for a couple of weeks. Mwah. Goodbye, my sweet princess. I love you." James said to her. Then the taxi left, Serena cried the whole way there. Alexander tried to comfort her. They arrived at a strawberry farm and then they got out of the car and took their belongings. As they enter the gate, Alexander got goat legs as he entered, Serena was shocked. "Woah." That was the start of a long time at camp...
