Children were always such natural chaos bringers.... A few weeks later, the police finally managed to discover that it was Howard who was committing all these crimes. He was arrested, leaving Vale behind in the care of the court. She would be placed in the foster home of Lilia Rudenko, an older Ukrainian woman who had been a foster parent for decades. Vale grew up in Brooklyn, New York City. As a child of Eris, Vale was even more prone to fights and trouble than most demigod children. She enjoyed chaos. As such, this lead to Vale being quite the hellian when she went to school. She was almost constantly in time out and had detention, that is when she wasn't suspended from school. Lilia tried her best with her, honestly she did. She had dealt with troublemakers before. But Vale was on a whole other level. It's like she breathed chaos. As a result, the older woman simply could only restrict the amount of freedom the girl had, grounding her. Not that Vale honestly cared. She viewed the other children as simply play things for her entertainment. She didn't find them worth her time, prefering her books to human interaction. As a result, Vale didn't have many friends, only mutual respect for fellow tricksters. This all led to an incident when she was thirteen. Vale chuckled evilly as watched her fellow detention buddy hacked into the city's traffic system. Oh, you could find out how to do anything on the internet. Her friend paused, leaning back in her chair with a large grin. This was going to be fun. With a flourish, she typed through the various warnings that flashed on her screen. Through the open window of her room, both girls heard a thundering crash followed by horrendous squeals. Seems they had quickly found out all the lights on this street were green by now. ....... Dark brown eyes stared in boredom at the wall as her charges and sentencing was being announced. This was so boring. She was kinda regretting letting her lawyer talking her into being tried separate from her partner in crime. But it did help get her a lesser sentence... "Miss Armstrong, are you listening?" the judge snapped at her. "Of course, Your Honor," the dark haired girl answered dully, glancing towards him. "Then you are prepared to be sent to a juvenile detention center for the next eighteen months?" the elderly judge questioned. "And then probation until I'm eighteen, yeah yeah," Vale answered. Her charges would have been worse had she chosen a street with a higher speed limit. She would've had murder charges too if she did... "You're wasting your talents with this unlawful behavior. Hopefully, this time away will help that." Vale met his eyes with a dark glare. "Please don't try to be my life coach, Judge." ........ Vale sighed as she leaned her forehead against the glass of the window as the bus took her away. It was raining heavily, making the already treacherous New York streets even harder to navigate. Already in the last half hour, the driver has had to dodge two crazy drivers. This day was going great, huh? ....... "So you must be Vale," a male voice stated as a man sat at the desk she was in front of. She raised a brow at the college looking guy. "My name is Xavier Woods. I'm your therapist while you're here," he introduced himself with an award winning smile. “I’m excited for us to get to know each other!” ....... "Wait, let me get this straight, I'm a demigod of some Greek god that in fact do exist, and you are here to take me to some camp for my kind," Vale trailed off as she recanted what she had heard. It had been about ten months since she had first arrived at the center. There was nothing really remarkable that had happen in this time, just weekly visits with Xavier as was part of her sentencing. “I’m also a satyr, see check out my horns,” he answered as he took off the baseball cap he usually wore to show off a decent sized set of horns. Vale was silent. “Oh! And remember how terrible your bus ride here was? That was because you were being attacked by monsters! The Mist, which is what hides the supernatural from mortals, made it just seem like they were cars with crazy drivers to normal mortals!” he continued with a large grin. “But don’t worry, I got them for ya!” "What?" "Well, propably since you couldn't really see out the windows, you most likely didn't notice that their were monsters attacking. Since you are a demigod, you can see through the Mist. As for me taking care of them, well, I may have exageratted a bit. I can't take monsters on by myself usually, but I managed to lure them away and into a group of demigods that could. They were on a quest see, - They have those at camp where certain campers-" “Why are you telling me this now?” she whispered in a deathly calm voice, interrupting him. “Oh, well, I’m for sure now that it’s you that’s the demigod and not one of the other girls.” “...You’re crazy…” ………….. Vale sighed heavily as she chilled out by the fence of the basketball court after her session with Xavier. That weirdo had gone completely bananas, but she must admit that he was a really good cosplayer. Those horns almost looked real… “Yo, Vale, did ya hear? Somehow a stray dog got into the center,” her roommate commented as she went to play a match with a few other girls. “Woah, really? That’s weird,” Vale responded. She bid a brief farewell to her ‘friend’ of sorts before pushing off the chain link fence. She needed to go on a walk to clear her head. It was twenty minutes later when she spotted the stray that had gotten in. That was no normal dog. It was more like a grizzly bear. How did something that huge get in!? It sniffed the air before turning to face her, its glowing red eyes contrasting against its black fur. Vale took a step back as it took a step forward. It let free a piercing howl before it started sprinting at her. The teenager let out a shout of fright as she tried to get away. The melody of a pan flute filled the air. In the next moment, the roots of the trees around them shot up from their earth beds and wrapped around the beast. Someone helped her up, and the young girl looked up to see Xavier’s smile. “You believe me now?” She didn't have time to respond before she was getting pulled along behind him. "We need to go, now." ……….. "This is weird. It's like they don't know who I am," Vale muttered lowly as she was dragged behind Xavier as they made their way outside the correctional facility. The guards seemed confused and a bit dazed as they caught sight of them. "Well, the Mist is a powerful thing, you know," Mr. Woods commented over his shoulder with a grin. "Right," she answered sarcastically as they finally exited the building and entered the parking lot. The satyr therapist directed them to an old yellow camaro, rust and chipped paint the most prominent on the vehicle. "This is your car?" "Yep! You ready for a road trip?" Xavier stated with a grin as he quickly unlocked the doors. "I guess I have to..." She slipped into the car and wrinkled her nose at the various food and trash scattered around. "Heh, sorry about that. Wasn't really expecting to be making such a quick getaway!" Xavier laughed awkwardly as he started up his car. And with that, they began the journey to Camp Half-Blood. ........................ "Are you sure that thing won't follow us?" Vale asked as she turned in her seat to peer out of the back window. Xavier shifted nervously as he glanced in the review mirror. "I never said that," he answered. Vale turned to him with a horrified look. "You mean that it can still follow us!?" she nearly screamed in panic. The car swerved as he jumped in surprise at her exclaimation. "YEAH! IT CAN!" he shouted back angrily before catching himself. "You're a demigod, Vale. Monsters, like that hellhound, are always going to come after you. Better get used to it." "I..." her words trailed off as shrunk back, tears gathering in her eyes. She slumped back into her chair as she buried her face into her hands. "I never wanted this..." she muttered under her soft sobs. Xavier spared her a quick glance, frowning at her crying form. "Hey, it's gonna be-Shit, shit, shit." Vale's head jerked upwards as the car suddenly swerved this way and that. She turned and felt her heart stop at the sight of the large black monster almost directly behind them. She began chanting under her breath on how she didn't want to die. She made prayers and promises and bargains to whatever was listening. "Don't panic! We're almost to the camp! It'll be fine!" the Guardian cried, nearly avoiding the hellhound behind them. Yet, his driving couldn't outmaneuver this beast. Screams ripped from both of their throats in panic as the car was slammed into, sending them rolling into the forest the road cut through. Vale blinked the blurriness from her eyes as her head pounded in her head. "C'mon, Vale, we gotta go. We're almost there!" Xavier's voice was heard above the ringing in her ears. She numbly crawled out of the car and ran through the forest with Xavier. She faded in and out as they went, ignoring the blood coating her forehead and the scratches from the foliage appearing on her skin. An angry howl echoed around them, resulting in her older companion pushing her to go faster. She could hear the hellhound was steadly closing the distance between them. They forced themselves to go faster, faster, until they were out of the woods and into a clearing like area. Suddenly, Xavier started slowing down. "W-what are you doing, that thing is-" "We made it...!" Xavier panted as they came to a stop. Vale sent him an odd, paranoid look. The satyr sighed before turning with a grin. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" he told her happily. "Wait, we- we actually made it?" she questioned, a crazy smile coming to her features. She was alive...! "Just passed the borders! There's no way that hellhound can get you now!" Xavier elaborated. Vale fell to the ground in exhaustion. She flopped onto her back as she laughed in quiet relief. "It is only in adventure that some people succeed in knowing themselves - in finding themselves."
Vale is a daughter of Eris. She is currently fifteen years old. She is single. Her sexuality is asexual, and she is also aromantic. Vale holds an indifferent attitude before eventually opening up to people to show her thirst for entertainment. She enjoys a mug of coffee, books, and adventure.
Personality
Originally viewed as a rude indifference, Vale is actually unsure of new people, not entirely sure how to properly interact with them. This usually leads her to silently standing on the sidelines as she takes in everything being said and such. But after picking up certain hints, or overhearing a specific comment, she instantly swoops in to form a bond over their mutual interest. After that, it's almost impossible for her to be introverted around that person. Loud, aggressive, and sometimes foul-mouthed, Vale is a casual rebel always seeking action and entertainment.
History

Howard Armstrong was a street artist in New York with a fondness for arson. While creating masterpieces with chalk on the pavement, he would also blow up whatever he was hired to: cars, buildings, people. The bombings is what first drew Eris in, yet she stayed when she caught the strange chaos that was this man’s life. He would create beautiful landscapes and destroy lives at the same time in harmony, creating chaos. It burned her. This harmony of his that was creating such wonderful chaos. She had to correct this. It was almost laughable how pathetically he fell for her. She used him, breaking his disgusting harmony as she allowed her chaos to slowly consume him, body and soul. His art started turning into dark and sloppy messes, the bombs more frequent and stronger than necessary. It was glorious. To finish her little project and to properly bid farewell to this pawn, she bestowed upon him a gift a few months after leaving. A baby girl, their child. "Whenever you're ready, let's go meet everyone, alright?" His only response was silence from the now unconscious girl.

Vale Armstrong -Child of Eris
-The Silent Terrorist

Hello...
Powers

====Offensive==== + #Children of Eris have the ability to focus an intense beam of chaotic energy which will burn any organic matter it touches. Any inorganic matter it touches begins to slightly break, warp and disintegrate. + #Since Eris could be considered a war goddess, her children can decrease an opponent’s strength and combat abilities for a short time, leaving them vulnerable to attack. + ====Defensive==== + #Children of Eris have the ability to create a field of chaotic energy around them for a short time, which stuns anyone who steps inside of it and deflects attacks. + #Children of Eris can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time. + ====Passive==== + #Children of Eris are innately stronger in times of battle or any other kind of chaos. + #Children of Eris emit an aura of chaos and discord, making people around them more likely to misbehave and start fights. They can shut it off for a long time if they wish. + ====Supplementary==== + #Children of Eris have the ability to force a state of confusion upon another person for a limited time, allowing the child of Eris to attack or flee freely. + #Children of Eris can create a short lived “storm of strife” which causes everything within it to change, warp, or break. The effects are random, but typically powerful and can stretch over a wide area depending upon the amount of energy put into it, the larger the field, the more energy it drains. + #Children of Eris have the ability to cause a group of people or animals to become irrational and fight amongst themselves for no reason for a short time. Which can give the user a chance to attack or flee. + #Since their mother was depicted as a winged goddess, children of Eris can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly; the longer they maintain this state, the more energy it drains. They must rest between flights and cannot make long distance traveling without resting often. However the wings are vulnerable to injuries and magic; they can also be customized to the user’s preference. + ====3 Months After Character is Made==== + #Children of Eris can create a small explosion of chaotic energy at a range of about 12 meters, but the blast radius is only about 5 meters and it takes a few seconds to explode, during which the point of the explosion sparks and pops. + ====6 Months After Character is Made==== + #Children of Eris can use their powers over chaos to affect reality in an illogical way. For example, they can splash water on an opponent and cause severe burns and get hit with a hammer and it will just tickle. Only one aspect of reality can be thrown into chaos at a time and it will only be in effect for a short time. Afterwards, the user will be substantially drained. The power cannot be used so that it would cause severe damage, such as breathing or blinking would cause their brains to explode. + ====9 Months After Character is Made==== + #Children of Eris can draw power from all the chaotic actions and desires they’ve seen, felt, or committed in their lives and become an embodiment of chaos. This would make them more powerful, making them immune to all attacks, enhancing their physical prowess and power over chaos they previously possessed. This only lasts for a short time, after which the user will be so exhausted they’d lack the ability to even move for some time and could even faint. +
