Anton Kravets was just a college student in Kiev, Ukraine before he met Eris. His life was dull and static, unchanging through his years in university. Anton's life was getting boring, and he knew it. Looking for a change to get his fun lifestyle back, he went to a bar downtown with some of his friends one Friday night. Eris was there, looking for a new partner to create more children. She caught a glimpse of Anton, and she was immediately drawn to his confidence packed stride as he walked through the doors into the bar to his striking good looks. Anton soon realized someone was staring at him about ten minutes after Eris saw him. The young woman he saw was staring at him was gorgeous. He walked over to her and chatted for a while before Eris suggested heading for her hotel room. Anton was already drunk, plus the girl was beautiful. He agreed, and they consorted that night. Nine months later, long after he had already forgotten the raven haired woman in the bar, an infant in a swaddle showed up at his dorm doorstep.
Viktoria Hanna Kravets was born on September 10, 1997. Eris managed to track down Anton's college in order to have a place to leave Viktoria. All the memories of Eris came flooding back to Anton when she saw the baby's thin locks of raven. Anton didn't even know how to care for a goldfish, much less an infant. He was also still in his last year of college, and much too busy to care for the baby. Anton decided it was best to sign her up for adoption. So Viktoria was raised in a children's home and school. By age five, Viktoria was far more shrewd and cunning than the rest of the children in the home. She learned a lot by watching everyone and experimenting with her surroundings. Viktoria was a very observant child, and with that aspect, she was able to outsmart even the adults. Viktoria started her early beginnings of trickery by the time she reached seven, pulling off stunts such as stealing extra cookies from the mess hall, picking the locks of the boys' bedrooms and rearranging all their belongings, and spreading glue all over the teachers' chairs.
When she was eleven, she was (to everyone's surprise) adopted by a lovely American couple. Little did they know that Cara and Hugh Manon were actually demigods as well. They sensed Viktoria was one as well, and adopted her off the bat. They decided to keep what Viktoria really was a secret from her because they didn't know who her godparent was. She could've been a daughter of a titan for all they knew. So they decided to wait until her first monster attack. Viktoria seemed to learn English exceedingly well, so they sent her school when she turned eleven. At that school was a satyr by the name of Lila. Lila could pick up Viktoria's scent right away and befriended her. Viktoria brought home Lila one day, and when Viktoria was occupied, Lila got the chance to converse with her parents.
Cara and Hugh revealed that they were a daughter of Hecate and a son of Melinoe. Lila was surprised, but introduced herself as a satyr nevertheless. When Viktoria's twelfth birthday came, they were all anticipating her first monster attack. Cara and Hugh would act anxious everytime she requested to go outside or came home from school. Lila refused to leave her side when they were together. Her first monster attack came later, much to their surprise.
It was just after her thirteenth birthday. She was attacked by a hellhound in an abandoned part of the town park where Lila and her were walking one day. Lila was unable to sense the hellhound before it pounced on Viktoria. Lila panicked, and threw Viktoria a silver arm cuff. Viktoria, equally as panicked, felt an indent in the cuff that seemed to be a button. She pushed it, and the arm cuff transformed into a celestial bronze sword. Since the hellhound was on top of her, Viktoria simply plunged the sword into the hellhound and it disintergrated. Tramuatized and confused, Lila took her home. Cara and Hugh were shaking with worry, and sent her to camp that summer. There, she was trained well enough to know what to do the next time she encountered a monster.
That fall, after her fourteenth birthday, Viktoria was on a field trip hiking in the woods. She was behind everyone else, and that opened up an opportunity for a harpy to swoop in and attack her. Luckily, she had her arm cuff to defend herself with to kill the harpy. The monster attacks didn't stop there. Her sixteenth birthday came, and her parents took her to their beach house in California. Viktoria was sunbathing peacefully on an empty part of the beach when a telekhine emerged from the water. Viktoria learned never to take off her silver cuff, so she would've been able to kill it easily. However, since she was so close to the water, the telekhine almost dragged her into the waters to meet her death. After she killed it, Viktoria returned to the beach house, bloodied, beaten, and bruised. Cara and Hugh nearly fainted at the sight. The overprotective parents they are, they sent Viktoria back to Camp permanently to protect her and train her harder to fight back.
