In a club at New York, Veronica met an oddly partying guy who dances like a hospital patient in a strange manner. When approached, all Veronica could do is sip her wine and watches him do some odd moves, she finds her charming and ridiculous which is why she fell for him. The guy introduce himself as Morphy and later revealed that it is short for Morpheus, unbeknownst to her that he is a God. And after hours of drinking and partying they went to a nearby hotel and did the thing.
After that they still dated together and lived a happy life for weeks. But after three weeks Veronica realizes that she is pregnant with Morphy's. Shocked and realizes what he had done, Morpheus put her into sleep and left her for good in the streets of New York. When Veronica woke up she's in a hospital bed, the police found her lying in the street so she was sent in the hospital. When asked why she was there her only respond is "I don't know." but something pops in her mind and remembered that she is pregnant. She asked the police where her boyfriend went the only reply she got is "You were alone." which made Veronica heartbroken.
Eleven months has passed and she works at a public library in New York with his new born baby. She named him Zachary which means "Remembered by God" this just synonymously means that she and his christian God remembered him but not the father of the child. In Eleven months this made Veronica work hard and made Zach a fine smart man. She teaches him everything she knows, she even sent him to a classy private school, the boy became the man Veronica wanted but as soon as Zach turns thirteen years old he realizes that he doesn't enjoy his life anymore because of his mom's dictatorship, Veronica wanted Zach to be a succesful man one day so he exagerrated her own limits to his son, she always locked him in a room full of books and she didn't let him play outside. Zach doesn't even have real friends since he enrolled in a very luxurious private school, Zach was imprisoned in his mother's house. Everything Veronica wanted should be done by Zach perfectly, her son should turn out to be someone that Zach doesn't want.The boy grew up learning about things forcefully, things that he doesn't want to know, and stuff that is too advance for him to know. Zach doesn't want a life like this, he wants to be free and follow his own will so after his thirteenth birthday, Zachary packs his important belongings and left his mother for good.
But when he left his mother he doesn't realizes that his first attack will take place on the very same night he abandoned his mother. A harpy flew from the distance and struck Zach which made him fall to his knees, the harpy founds an opening and took its chances and swiftly flew to attack him again and manages to damage Zach's face, a bloody wound made the harpy lusts for blood so he landed on the ground near Zach. The boy shouts for help but no one could hear him neither the harpy's evil laugh, the harpy kicked Zach and flew to the wall, breaking his ribs. As the harpy continued to laugh, it prepares its beak to mucnhed through Zach's skin and kill him off instantly but the harpy was chopped into two with a celestial bronze longsword owned by a man named Krood which looks like protected Zach in time, Kroot hack and sliced the harpy and proceeded to beheads it. Kroot explains everything to Zach and stuff that he should know about his father and about him being a Demigod (Kroot is a Demigod himself so don't worry.) Kroot also explains that there is a place where their own kind is safe.
Kroot is old and wise but he doesn't have a child, he was just an old garbage collector enjoying his remaining days in his life, he saved Zach when he heard him shout for help when no one when no one came to help him. He chose to train Zach for two years right after he saved him from the harpy, Zach became a strong fine lad but here he chose to spoil his own life. Zach's second attack was when he was training at Central Park and another monster attacked him. While doing some rounds at the park he wandered a bit to follow a puppy beside the lake, he followed the puppy but when it went to the shadows under the bridge the puppy became a cerberus, a three headed dog-beast, he got so scared because he had no weapons on him, he was doing some normal jog and Kroot is buying him hotdogs so he is basically defenseless. The cerberus raises his head to take a bite on Zach, as it raises his head it destoyed the bridge and swiftly attempts to chew Zach but good thing the cerberus is slow and Zachary manages to escape, he tried to shout for help but no one was there and even if someone was there they couldn't not hear Zach nor help him because it's a giant man-eating dog. Zach continues to run as the cerberus chased him, Zach threw some rocks and twigs to the beast that he just picked on the ground. He continues to scream which made the cerberus irritated, the first head tried to reach Zach's butt but it just manages to tear his jeans, the middle head attempts to chew Zach's head but the boy accidentally tripped which made the third head to follow but it broke its own neck and also trips. The cerberus is fine but they're slightly hurt due their clumsiness, Zach broke his foot so he can't run anymore. The cerberus prepares to enjoy their fiest but before they could even take a bite, Kroot threw some hotdogs on the cerberus' mouth and made them distracted. Kroot took no time to laugh and chopped off the first head but the middle head resisted the pain and attempts to munch Kroot but the old man is wise so he slashes off the middle head's eyes and blinded it, Kroot proceded to chop off its head and kill the other head as he succesfully killed the beast. After the attack he kept Zach's training harder than before so he can protect himself but Zach chose to depend on him. Slacking and procrastinating, Zach changed drastically but with training he can now defend himself but he still wanted Kroot to protect him. This annoys Kroot so he sent Zach to the Camp but he realizes that he still needs more training so they did.
Another year has passed and Zach's training grew harsh, Kroot left him at the sewers of New York to excel his surviving skills. Zach didn't know what to do so he cooked off some legit bugs to eat. It wasn't the worse but it was the first so it was good, He gets his water from the sewers by filtering it and boiling it so he can drink it nicely wthout catching any kinds of sickness. While spending his fourth week on the sewers without proper diet and hygiene but with a good work out he survives... then his third attack occurs. A Telekhine under the dirty waters of the sewage of New York emerged from the wet sewers, it made Zach confuse because these sewers that resided by a monster just means that the sewage is deep! Zach didn't realize that the monster is incoming his way and line of sight. The beast whips its tail and hits Zach, the boy flinched and badly hurt. Zach can still stand and took out the sword that Kroot gave him. He is badly hurt and doesn't even stand a chance to survive. But Zach's strong will overwhelms the beast's wrath so he charges the beast while holding the sword preparing to hack it off. The beast dodges but not its fin so it bleeds and scared to attack Zach. The beast hesitate's to attack him once more so the monster flee with a crying wound, bleeding, and leaving some trails of blood. Zach manages to win but he is badly injured as he faints.
Zach sooner woke up in Kroot's house. Kroot compliments him because he was just watching Zach when the monster attacks, he didn't help because he knows Zach can handle it. Zachary smiled and continued training but he sooner procrastinate and became too confident about his strength, he didn't trained for weeks and always depends on Kroot. this made Kroot mad and annoyed so he kicked Zach off his house, when asked where Zach will be going he dropped Zach at the Camp to become a responsible man because Kroot wanted Zach to use his powers and strength in the most righteuos way.
