 – "Do not be fooled. This is just a mask."

He was just passing by wearing his black chaleco over his violet shirt keeping his hands in the pockets of his jeans. He thought it was a very great day to take a stroll only to be proven wrong a few moments later when a camper wearing the costume of... wait, what? Julius Cesar? The guy came running to him all frantic and grabbing him by the shoulders and shook him. "H-Hey man! What's wrong with you?" he asked in surprise.

Random dude: "You look perfect for the role. Hey, please pretty PLEASE PUH-LEASE! We need another man!" he explained but he spoke too fast that his words sounded a bit gibberish to Jordan.

Analeese Nicole Sterling ~ Head Counsellor of Nemesis' Cabin

"To take revenge halfheartedly is to court disaster; either condemn or crown your hatred." - Pierre Corneille
Analeese was headed down to the armory when she heard him. She saw a camper, dressed up in what seemed like full roman regalia, or a Hollywood style approximation of it. The daughter of Nemesis smirked. She walked over to the pair- her black combat boots clicking against the stony path. She couldn't deny feeling a flicker of amusement. "Is he bothering you?"

Character's Powers

  1. Children of Nemesis have the ability to send a small wave of energy which will cause anyone affected to lose their balance and fall; after the effects have worn off, a person is immune to further effects of this for a moderate time.
  2. Children of Nemesis, after receiving a wound, are able to empower their next successful attack, causing it to do more damage than it normally would.

  1. Children of Nemesis can create a field of energy around them that causes all people nearby to lose their balance fall to the ground and continue to fall if they try to get up; the user is drained the longer the field is sustained.

  1. Children of Nemesis are innately balanced and are great at climbing.
  2. Children of Nemesis have innate reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.

  1. Children of Nemesis are able to empower a wounded ally with the fervor to achieve vengeance upon the one who wounded them; this effect greatly increases the strength and speed of the ally when they fight the one who wounded them until vengeance is achieved.
  2. Children of Nemesis have the ability to cause someone near them to regard others with no personal favor or disdain and consider everything based purely upon facts.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. For every attack against them, Children of Nemesis have the ability to create a counter-attack that is equal in force to the attack made against them. The user is temporarily vulnerable and weakened after each use, so they must be used sparingly

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nemesis have the ability to link themselves and another person into a state of pure balance, forcing the other person to mirror the child of Nemesis’ movements without the ability to move of their own accord and while this link is sustained, any wound that either of the two suffers, the other suffers it as well; once the link is broken, on top of retaining any wounds sustained while linked, the child of Nemesis is greatly drained and unable to fight for a moderate time.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nemesis can create a field around them, and anyone within that field has their demigod powers neutralised for a short time, anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, this puts anyone fighting around the child of Nemesis on even turf as they all can only use their melee/hand to hand combat skills to fight with. While the child is perpetuating this field, they are not able to attack themselves and are vulnerable.

  1. Children of Nemesis tend to be well balanced people
  2. They can tell when someone's life is out of balance with either too much good or too much bad

Jordan: "CHILL, MAN! NOT THE END OF THE WORLD!" he shouted competing with the loudness of the dude in the costume. Hearing a different voice which seemed, obviously, more relaxed than the guy, he turned to where it came from and saw a girl. He stared in awe of her for a few moments almost forgetting someone was driving him nuts. She gave him the impression of a strong and yet a lady-like woman. It was such a lovely combination.

Dude: Noticing Jordan seemed to be mesmerized, he waved his hand in front of his face. "Hellooooooo!" He even snapped his fingers in the hopes of getting back his attention.

Jordan: He felt rather chill and a smile formed on his face simply liking the moment she came. "Uh... yeah, this guy's been bothering me." He sneered at him and rolled his eyes then looked back at the girl putting his smile back on. "Hi, I'm Jordan," he said extending his hand for a shake.

Dude: His eyes bulged as an idea popped into his head. "Weeeell," he said as he turned to the other direction, "looks like someone here is trying to impress a girl!" He let out the words slow enough for Jordan to understand and loud enough for him to hear.

Ana: "Analeese." She gripped his hand firmly. Her hands were slightly rough against his. Her tone of voice seemed apathetic. "Dude. I don't know who you are, or what kind of madness Dionysus has imposed on you. But I would recommend backing off. Mine is bigger than yours." She glanced at the Roman and patted the sword at her side. There was a little of her mother in her soft hazel eyes. "The girl has a name." She muttered underneath her breath.

Dude: He leaned in closer to Jordan's side and whispered, "Hey! Come on, take the role! Extra points for the girl, I'm sure!"

Jordan: "Analeese," he repeated flashing a smile at her. "Nice to meet yo--" he was cut off as he heard the dude whisper something. "W-What in the Hades, man? I don--"

Dude: He nudged him and smiled mischievously. "Come ooon." He wriggled his eyesbrows. "I know you want to." He nudged Jordan again.

Jordan: He looked at Analeese then back at the dude thinking about it carefully until he finally gave in. "Fine, fine! What do I need to do?"

Dude: "YEHEEES! THANK THE GODS!" he exclaimed kneeling down with his hands up as if praising those above. Then he grabbed Jordan by the arm and dragged him along. "Come with me! Oh!" He turned to Analeese. "And you too, ma'am!" He grabbed Analeese by the arm hoping to drag her along too.

Ana: Analeese raised an eyebrow and gave Jordan a look. "Why do I always attract the mad ones?" She thought, slipping out of the dude's grasp. "Look. I don't know what you want. But I do know that if you ever try touch me again, you'll "mysteriously" break every bone in your body. Are we clear?" She prepared to link herself with the Roman, in case he tried anything.

Dude: He raised his hand up while the other still held onto Jordan, his eyes all wide in shock. "O-Okay, ma'am! Clear as crystal!" He saluted at her and then grinned at them. "You guys don't know how important this is for us!" He ran off with Jordan all excited but stopped midway to wait for Analeese.

Ana: "Should I follow?" She asked herself. It was tempting to scarper off and leave someone else to deal with the situation. Yet half the camp couldn't get a kiss in a brothel, so leaving them probably wasn't a good idea. She sighed to herself and followed. "Good. Now we're clear, you want to tell us where we're going?"

Dude: "To the amphitheater, ma'am!" he answered as he walked.

Jordan: He pushed the guy away and said, "Hey! I can walk, you know? Gods!" He hated being dragged along. "So what's the big deal about the amphitheater?"

Dude: "Oh you'll see when we get there." He flashed them a big smile.

People were gathered 'round the amphitheater as if a big event was going to take place. On the stage itself, there were curtains and some kids were preparing what seemed to be lights. The others were seated on the steps and excitement was written all over their faces.

Jordan: He knitted his eyebrows absolutely oblivious to what was about to happen.

Dude: He approached his fellowmen and patted their breastplates to get their attention. "Hey guys! I got 'em!" he said showing the two guests he brought.

Ana: "Oh gods.." Analeese smirked, trying to hide her amusement. She shrugged her shoulders and looked at Jordan. "I assume they want us to join their 'cohort.'"

Other: Seeing the girl, he immediately thought she was the one they're looking for. "Thank the gods! She is perfect!" he said raising his hands in praise and the others followed.

Dude: He handed Analeese her costume--an armor especially made for a woman. "Sorry... we needed someone to fill in for her role. The girl who's supposed to play this role said she's sick and is currently at the infirmary."

Jordan: He chuckled thinking the whole idea was a joke. "Wait... seriously? Are... Are you-- What!?"

Dude: "She will be acting as our general! And as for you..." He grabbed another costume and tossed it at Jordan. "You're one of us."

Jordan: Almost not able to catch the pieces of clothing because of his surprise. "WAIT! SO YOU ARE SERIOUS!"
