|Analeese Nicole Sterling ~ Head Counsellor of Nemesis' Cabin|
"To take revenge halfheartedly is to court disaster; either condemn or crown your hatred." - Pierre Corneille
|Analeese is walking back to the training arena when the blonde princess bumped into her. "Watch out.." The daughter of Nemesis said. "You'll poke someone's eye out and I am NOT cleaning up the damage." She said and planted a hand on her hip. "Analeese by the way. You're new? I assume so by the fact that you're not trying to dig out your eyes with a blunt spoon or something. Don't worry, you'll soon be running roundwith all the lunatics soon enough." She joked. "Welcome to camp life..."|

Analeese: She smirks a little. The daughter of Nemesis stands up against Megan, her ebony hair swept across the curves of her back. "The normal ones are the crazies, you have the sluts, the depressed alcoholics, the ones without any family, the needy girls." She grins and extends her hand. "You seem halfway intelligent, you a kid of Athena or something?" Analeese asks, resting her hand on her hip where her long-sword was sheathed in its scabbard of black leather.
Megan She laughs and pats the dagger which hangs from her belt, "Child of Nike actually, goddess of Victory. It's why I never lose." She winks, "Anyhow, maybe I'm crazy too, only, combat is my drug. It's not as self-destructive as most addictions, not when you're halfway decent, and I must say it's ten times more beneficial." She draws the dagger and flips it, catching the handle. She repeats the process a few times as she asks, "What about you? Can you handle that blade on your hip?"
Analeese: "Showing off gets you killed. So does hubris." Analeese draws her longsword and takes a short step back, the blade pointed towards Megan. "Daughter of Nemesis, the red-soaked blade of divine retribution. You know, punish the arrogant, uphold balance and all." She holds the one and a half hand blade in both hands, her fast reflexes allowing her to perform a few basic cuts and slashes. "I wouldn't carry a blade if I didn't. Fear only works if you've got the skills to back it up." She strokes her finger along the fuller of the celestial bronze sword, and stops at the crossguard, sheathing the sword in her belt. "You don't seem as bad as some of the other campers. Some guy ranted on about being a master assassin. I had to teach the poor boy a lesson." She chuckled violently and crossed her arms. "On your way to the training grounds?"
Megan "I'm more or less ALWAYS on my way there. I'll probably walk around a bit first, but maybe not...You looking for a sparring partner? I guarantee you I could give that blade something it's never seen before."
Analeese: She chuckles, a trace of a smile on her lips. "I wouldn't want to hurt you..." Analeese retorts bluntly. "Perhaps when you've got some training under your belt, I've got a fight for counselor this week." She says with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "I'm going to the archery range to test fire a few bows, come if you want. I'm not that bothered either way."
Megan She laughs and walks with her, "I'm not trying to be arrogant Analeese, but you'll find my training is complete. Although I always practice, I am a mighty warrior. I've trained all my life. Trust me, I'm no weakling. However, if YOU need me to teach you some moves, I'd be happy to oblige." He winks to show she's kidding about the last part.
Analeese: "Impressive. Exactly how many fights have you been in?" Analeese asks, shaking her head with obvious disdain. Training went out of the window when you were caught up in a life threatening bar fight and the adrenaline was pumping. "If I ever want my brain cells to suffer an agonising death, I'll make sure to let you know." She teases and gently nudges Megan, as they end up at the archery arena. "So blondie, these are called bows. You aim the pointy end at the target."
Megan Again Meagan just laughs, although she realizing its starting to infuriate Analeese. "I've been in dozens of fights, my friend, and have been trained by the mightiest warrior of our age...as for bows." She tapped her bracelet, which transformed into a bow while a quiver appeared at her side. She deftly pulled an arrow, strung it, leapt into a forward roll, and, coming up on one knee, fired and planted the projectile in the target's center. She smiles, "Child of Nike, enhanced physical capabilities. No autographs please."
Analeese: Analeese calmly watches Megan's antics and decides to show off a little. She takes a crossbow off the rack and draws the quarrel backwards, firing several volleys into the target range. A few hit the center but most hit a little upwards or a little to the side on purpose. "Two hits to the tendons, these field-tip bolts would go right through armour, a broadhead to the ribs and another to the heart, likely to cause internal bleeding or tear the organs. Enough to give anyone a nasty headache." She smirks and puts the crossbow down, taking her time to perform a couple of forward flips on her symmetrical hands, ending in a short handstand to reach the targets. "You're not the only one who can do a few fancy flips." She replies sardonically, pulling the arrows out of the targets and leaving pretty sizeable holes. "Child of Nemesis, enhanced reflexes and balance. Still, not the best thing to do unless you're in a Hollywood movie. I would rather make the effort to drive a sword through the person that was attacking me."
Megan "Thank the gods someone knows what they're talking about!" She runs over to Analeese and puts a hand on her shoulder, smiling widely, "I was starting to think that I was the only one trained to kill in this...interesting camp. I got here expecting to fade in and then realized my talents were a million times the average...and not just because my mother is Nike! But you" She smiles even wider, "You are a warrior! You have no idea how glad I am."
