Dante: He walks around the town, his xiphos coated in blood from 2 very recent kills. Kareal: He sits down in Subway, ready to tear into an Italian BMT.
Dante: He walks in, demanding a Chicken Teriyaki. He uses the money from some unfortunate soul to pay it. The mist makes his xiphos look like a dirty baseball bat. He sits down and begins eating, ignoring Kareal's presence. Kareal: He is not fooled by the mist, and slowly reaches up and unstrings his hammer from his neck, though not activating it.
Dante: He finishes his sandwich and walks out, somewhat tempted to head back to the sanctuary for the night. Kareal: He quickly wraps up what's left of his sandwich and shuffles out the door after Dante, hammer in hand, fully extended.
Dante: He senses Kareal's life force, he thinks he's just a mortal. But since he's always careful, he remains vigilant. Kareal: Able to see all the blood on the sword, Kareal stays back at a good distance. Dante: He looks over to him, not looking surprised. "Bitch is there a reason you're stalking me?" Kareal: "That's a nice bat, you play?" Dante: He walks towards him, completely unconvinced of his lie. He squeezes the hilt of his blade. Kareal: "Fine don't answer my question." Feeling threatened he decides to make the first move and swings heavily at Dante's shoulder. Dante: He quickly raises his xiphos, trying to swing at his hammer as hard as he can. Dante hopes to knock it out of his hand, all while bringing down his sword on his arm. Kareal: The sword glances the shaft of the hammer, taking a lot of the force from the strike, but it still cuts Kareal's arm, drawing blood and making his grip with that hand much weaker. "No worse than being shot!" Kareal attempts to uppercut Dante with the spike side of the hammer. Dante: He jumps back, narrowly avoiding his hammer. But he dashes back, trying to make a powerful swing towards his hammer arm. Kareal: The hit connects cutting off the pinky and ring fingers. Kareal quickly switches the hammer to the other hand so he can continue the fight. "You're good. Real good."
Dante: "Yeah wish I could say the same for you!" He says as he tries to drain some of his life force, while making a powerful swing towards his stomach. Kareal: He knocks the sword aside with the side of the shaft of the hammer while feeling the life drain, knowing he can't do anything about that. "Boy, if a bear can't gut me you think you can?"
Dante: He smirks a bit "Tough guy huh?" He says as he moves his free hand towards his hammer, hoping to grab at it and while Dante tries to impale his right leg.
Kareal: Dante misses and Kareal goes to clothesline him with the shaft of the hammer. The sword connects and through his leg, narrowly missing the bone.
Dante: The shaft hits his neck, threatening to cause serious damage. Dante quickly heals the wound, he then tries to decapitate him.
Kareal: Using what little energy is left in his body, Kareal travels straight to the Big House at camp right before the stroke falls.
