Chet and Coira[]
Coira: Coira was so bored that she started bouncing a basketball while awkwardly leaning against her Cabin wall. "Gee, why doesn't anything happen here anymore?", she mumbled.
Chet: Chet was getting back from working out when he spotted Coira standing there. He walked in direction before he calls out to her. "You waiting for someone?"
Coira: Coira looked up and saw who was talking to her. Damn. Blushing wasn't something she'd ever do, but she was close to it. "Nah. Just being bored."
Chet: He nodded, made a motion towards the basketball she had. "Seems like you were hoping to do something. I'd be down to play basketball with you if you want."
Coira: "Oh yeah, sure", Coira replied, trying her best to sound natural while still bouncing the ball. "But I'm warning you: I played a lot back at home." She suddenly threw the ball at him, wondering if he'd catch it quick enough.
Chet: Though slightly delayed by the starting soreness of his muscles, he manages to get both hands in front of him and catch the ball easily. "Sound like fun." He walked over to her and stuck the ball under one of his arms as he extended his hand to her. "I'm Chet by the way."
Coira: She shakes Chet's hand firmly. "Coira." She paused, not knowing what to say. "So, shall we?" She pointed at the ball.
Chet: He flashs a smile and hands her the ball back. "Sure. Let's get to the court." He starts to turn and walk to the basketball court, but makes sure to walk next to her as they do. "You live in the Nyx cabin?"
Coira: "Yeah. And you? I haven't seen you around."
Chet: He shakes his head. "No, I'm in the Hephaestus cabin."
Coira: He's not her brother. Good. "Oh, nice. Machines and stuff like that? Maybe that is better than eternal darkness or whatever."
Chet: He shrugged his shoulders. "I get kept busy in the forge. And darkness can be a crazy thing to have control over."
Coira: She shrugs, too. "Maybe. Hey, at least you'd just look like a guy who's good with machines on the outside. I'd be like a supervillain."
