  1. Children of Hebe are innately stronger and faster due to their slow aging.

  1. Children of Hebe are able to curse someone with being very young children again, this has the potential to cause the victim a feeling of being lost, helpless and often leading to fits of crying, this only lasts for a short time and drains the user considerably.

6 Months After a Character is Made

  1. Children of Hebe have the ability to strike someone with a curse of old age for a short time; however, the person will not only feel old, they will become old and be unable to fight or even defend themselves, this also drains the user for a considerable time while using the power

9 Months After a Character is Made

  1. Children of Hebe can bless water to have the effects of allowing whomever drinks it to feel young again for a short time, their appearance may also take on a more youthful appearance for as long as the effects last.

Traits

  1. These children age slower than normally, beginning around the age of 12, and retain a youthful appearance far longer than most.

Karen: She's wearing the necklace that she bought with the dog collar, and she's absolutely pissed with it, as it's a dog bone, but surprisingly after taking the dog collar and necklace to a heph kid, it worked, and she could let shadow roam all day and not worry about him not coming back, and at that she was happy, but still upset they heph kid couldn't turn the bone into something "pretty". "mmmm," She sighs, "I wonder what'll happen today," Shadow walks slightly behind Karen as she walks towards the center of the camp for her "daily exercise".

Benny: He's walking idly around camp, eating candy, being generally adorable and bothering anyone who seems interesting to him. The day is pretty sunny, and Benny is in a characteristically good mood. As he walks past a small temple-like building, he spots a pretty girl with a border collie. He looked pretty rough but he went to say hi anyways. "Um....hi. Can I pet your doggy? He's pretty cute, but Dad said never to pet any random animals. They could be hellhounds, or worse."

Karen: Karen is somewhat shocked at the sound of another voice, and she quickly realizes someone is trying to talk to her, she looks and then sees a young looking child, taller than herself, "Sorry," She says with a faint smile, "did you say something?" Karen asks, as Shadow scoots over towards Benny to sniff him.

Benny: He gets down on one knee, and gently offers his hand out for the dog to sniff. "Can I pet your doggy? What's his name?" Benny grins, letting Shadow approach if he wanted. The young boy isn't scared, but he knows it's best to be safe.

Karen: Shadow sits down and puts out a paw for Benny to take, to shake, and gives a small and somewhat quiet but low and friendly bark as he holds his paw out. "Sure," Karen smiles, "You look like the young boy I met a couple weeks ago, his name was Tyler, well not like totally alike, but I guess Shadow thought you were Tyler," She sighs and puts a hand on the dog bone necklace, she feels a bit better having talked to someone, anyone, as it took her mind off the dog bone.

Benny: "Oh, he's cute!" Benny takes the dog's paw and shakes it. He smiles innocently at the dog. He loved animals, his neighbours had a couple of dogs, but he never really got to play with them. "Where did you get him? I don't think my brother would let me keep a dog in the cabin." He gently strokes Shadow. "Who's a good boy? You are, yes you are boy..." He coos. "Um....I'm Benny by the way. Son of Hebe."

Karen: She smiles at Benny's playing with Shadow, "Karen, counsellor of my Mother, Harmonia's cabin," Karen walks towards Benny and Shadow, and Shadow stands up and then puts his paws onto Benny's leg, tilting his head down so that Benny can scratch behind his ears and on the top of his head.

Benny: "Um hi...." Benny scratches behind the back of his ears, and the top of his head. Shadow seems quite happy. He looks up to Karen and gives her a bright smile. "Does he do any special tricks?" He asks, continuing to scratch his right ear.

Karen: "Shadow plays dead pretty well, make a finger gun at him and make a gun noise a few times, and Shadow'll play dead," Karen says smiling.

Benny: "Pew pew pew!" Benny giggles and makes a finger gun at Shadow. "Did you train him? I bet Harmonia kids have lots of cool powers like that."

Karen: The dog stands up and walks backwards a bit, somewhat like he's staggering like a drunk, and then "falls" onto his bottom and then lightly falls onto his side, twitching a bit as he lie on the ground, "Me, I, I, I taught him a lot, but some of it he does on his own," She smiles, then whistles and Shadow gets up off the ground and wags his tail. "Cool powers? Like what?"

Benny: "That's so cool!" He grins and rubs Shadow's belly affectionately. "Who's a clever doggy? You, you're the cleverest doggy at camp, aren't you?" Benny coos lovingly, standing up when the dog gets back up on his paws. "Um....I dunno. Isn't Harmonia the goddess of peace? It would be pretty cool to help people get along." He said thoughtfully.

Karen: "Yeah, the Goddess of peace and harmony.... I do spend a lot of time mediating and being judge of things that people can't agree on—that happens when you're a counsellor, especially the counsellor for Harmonia's cabin,"

Benny: "Oh I see." He nods and folds his arms. "How do you become counsellor? I've met a few of my brothers and sisters, but I haven't met my big brother Audie yet..." Benny shrugs. "He's the counsellor I think."

Karen: "Well generally you have to fight the current counsellor, but I've been one of the few people in the Harmonia cabin for the longest time, and so I just was given the title when the cabin counsellor left a year and a half ago,"

Benny: "That's cool." Benny smiles, idly creating a pot of ambrosia and scooping it out with a small spoon. He spills a little down his chin. "Mmm....what does the....mm.....Harmonia cabin look like? The Hebe one is all shiny....and filled with fountains."

Karen: Karen giggles, "I've taken the time to decorate everything, from the tooth brush holders in all the bathrooms, to the rugs, to the shower curtains, to the unoccupied bed spreads, to the doilies, to the curtains, to everything in the cabin. Want to see it?"

Benny: He giggles too. "Can you do that? Go and see other people's cabins?" Benny asks eagerly, his eyes filled with childlike curiosity. "Mine's so cool! There's room for all my lego sets and everything!"

Karen: "Yeah, would you like to come see mine?" Karen laughs, "Legos?" Karen smiles, "I never got to play with those when I was little, I just had a pencil and paper, so I learned to draw well."

Benny: "Please?" Benny says with a grin. "I'm not really good at art. Dad said it was because of my ADHD. I wanted to climb trees, or play make-believe, and make up my own stories. Legos aren't just for little kids though; you can build loads with them."

Karen: "Loads? What do you build with Legos?" Karen asks, then whistles for shadow and waves her arm in a motion for Benny to come walk beside her so she can take him to the Harmonia cabin.

Benny: "Anything. You can build castles, or bridges. I want to try and make Optimus Prime, but that would take loads of parts, and I could only bring a small set to Camp." Benny shrugs his shoulders and walks next to Karen. He gives her a bright smile. "Do you like to play make believe?"

Karen: She raises an eyebrow, and guess that this is one of those instances when she needs to act like an adult, "I did when I was younger, but not much anymore, there's always something to do that keeps me from thinking freely,"

Benny: He shrugs his lithe shoulders. "That's sad." He replies, deep in his own thoughts. "Nobody is too old to relax or have time to play. I'm fourteen, but I still make time to have fun." He walks alongside her. "I found a really cool shell at the beach the other day. We should go sometime."

Karen: "To the beach?" Her face suddenly shows fright, But there's people there and I'd have to wear a bathing suit, not something I want to do. she thinks. "For a walk maybe?"

Benny: "Um, sure." He shrugs his shoulders. "We could go hunting in the rock pools, or there's some small caves nearby." Benny suggests. "I like to pretend that mermaids sit there sometimes and chat about their day..."

Karen: "Mermaids? You know they are real? They live out at the beach, but you have to go early in the morning to see them," Karen smiles.

Benny: "Really?" Benny's eyes light up with surprise. "I've seen some of the naiads. But, I didn't want to go near them. They seem a little shy, and I don't want to annoy them."

Karen: "They're just cautious! They don't want to get hurt," Karen says with concern, having fed a Naiad or two herself, even untangling one from a fishing hook that was caught in its tail.

 3/6/9 (Early) Month Powers:

Offensive

  1. Children of Nyx have the ability to conjure weapon out of pure shadows which can be used for combat; however, only one weapon can be conjured at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who conjured it. This can also be used for other non-combative objects, but within reason, something might be shaped like an iPod, but as shadows do not have any working parts and source of electricity, such as batteries, they would not actually play music.
  2. Children of Nyx can create solid bullets out of shadows and fire them from their fingertips. The bullets fly fast enough to possibly tear into an opponent’s skin.

Defensive

  1. Children of Nyx have the ability to conjure a dome of solid shadows around them which will defend against attacks for a short time.


Passive

  1. Children of Nyx are innately stronger and are slightly less drained by their powers during the night.
  2. Children of Nyx can see perfectly in the night as if it were day and darkness in general.
  3. Children of Nyx can communicate with and command nocturnal animals.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Nyx have the ability to Shadow Travel,to teleport from shadow to shadow; the further the distance, the more is energy drained.
  2. Children of Nyx can bend shadows around them, concealing them for a short time.
  3. Children of Nyx are able to create complete darkness in a small area for a short time, extinguishing all light sources. They can also perform this power to a lighter extent, by putting out a single light bulb or candle with a thought.
  4. Children of Nyx can telekinetically move and transform their shadow constructs. The more constructs moved and the bigger they are, the more energy is drained.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nyx receive enhanced abilities over their umbrakinetic constructs. Meaning they can create up to 5 constructs at the same time that can only be up to 2 or 3 times the size of the user. The more constructs created and the bigger they are, the more energy is drained. They can also create a pair of shadow wings to fly with (which drains less energy than shadow travel).

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nyx are able to use the shadows to make up to 5 shadow creatures, no larger than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, to fight for them for a short time, while the shadow creature is fighting they are slower and the longer they use the shadow creature the more energy it drains.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nyx have the ability to shed their flesh and turn into a state of pure shadows and while in this state, the user is granted flight, their existing umbrakinetic abilities become stronger, their immune to all attacks in this state and anyone they touch has their vision stripped away for the rest of the transformation; however, once the user changes back they will be extremely drained and immobile for a long time. They would possibly pass out.

  1. Children of Nyx tend to prefer the dark.
  2. Children of Nyx are often nocturnal; preferring to operate at night and sleep during the day.
  3. Children of Nyx tend to have a darker outlook on life and events of the world.
  4. Children of Nyx often pursue jobs that take place at night or in darkness such as being a security guard, nightclub bouncing, and mining.
  5. Children of Nyx are typically favored and get along with nocturnal animals, such as bats, raccoons, ocelots, etc.

  1. Children of Nemesis have the ability to send a small wave of energy which will cause anyone affected to lose their balance and fall; after the effects have worn off, a person is immune to further effects of this for a moderate time.
  2. Children of Nemesis, after receiving a wound, are able to empower their next successful attack, causing it to do more damage than it normally would.

Defensive

  1. Children of Nemesis can create a field of energy around them that causes all people nearby to lose their balance fall to the ground and continue to fall if they try to get up; the user is drained the longer the field is sustained.

Passive

  1. Children of Nemesis are innately balanced and are great at climbing.
  2. Children of Nemesis have innate reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Nemesis are able to empower a wounded ally with the fervor to achieve vengeance upon the one who wounded them; this effect greatly increases the strength and speed of the ally when they fight the one who wounded them until vengeance is achieved.
  2. Children of Nemesis have the ability to cause someone near them to regard others with no personal favor or disdain and consider everything based purely upon facts.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. For every attack against them, Children of Nemesis have the ability to create a counter-attack that is equal in force to the attack made against them. The user is temporarily vulnerable and weakened after each use, so they must be used sparingly

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nemesis have the ability to link themselves and another person into a state of pure balance, forcing the other person to mirror the child of Nemesis’ movements without the ability to move of their own accord and while this link is sustained, any wound that either of the two suffers, the other suffers it as well; once the link is broken, on top of retaining any wounds sustained while linked, the child of Nemesis is greatly drained and unable to fight for a moderate time.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nemesis can create a field around them, and anyone within that field has their demigod powers neutralised for a short time, anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, this puts anyone fighting around the child of Nemesis on even turf as they all can only use their melee/hand to hand combat skills to fight with. While the child is perpetuating this field, they are not able to attack themselves and are vulnerable.

Traits

  1. Children of Nemesis tend to be well balanced people
  2. They can tell when someone's life is out of balance with either too much good or too much bad

Zaken: Zaken steps out of the Nyx cabin, he was ready, oh so ready, he was going to ask Scarlett if she wanted to go to the Spring fair. Surprisingly it had taken him some preparing, because he always thought he wasn't good enough when he went to talk to Scarlett, she was so... innocent when he compared her to himself. Yet, nonetheless he stepped forwards, his black leather boots shined, his monk-like robe and (WB like attire really) shoulder pauldrons gleaming. His size changing, ash throwing sword was sheathed at his side, and he starts to walk.

Analeese: Analeese steps out of the Nemesis cabin. She's ready to leave for morning practice; wearing a simple black tank-top, a cut-off pair of jeans, combat boots and her crossbow on her back with a quiver of bolts. If anyone was unsure who she was, the scabbard is covered with brass studs, arranged to form a pair of scales. She spots someone leaving the Nyx cabin, armed to the teeth. "Off to the arena?" She asks.

Zaken: "No, just, a precaution I have to take because of my past life," Zaken's brow furrows and his, was faint smile, turns downward to a frown as he thinks of Zora hurting anyone that he had met at camp. "The arena however would be a wonderful excuse if it were the only reason I needed to dawn this," He lulls his head slightly to one side, and looks at Ana, he realized he wasn't even sure if Scarlett was there anymore, and then asks, "Is that where you're going?" His voice is frosty, but not angry.

Analeese: "I see." Analeese smirks jauntily. She glances towards the berobed figure. "No. I would've worn more armor. Preperation before battle prevents a piss poor performance." She shrugs her shoulders, her hands brushing across the short-sword sheathed at her hips. "I always carry a sword though; old habits die hard." She continues walking. "Analeese. Counsellor of the Nemesis cabin."

Zaken: Zaken turns to walk beside Analeese, "Zaken, I sleep in the Nyx cabin from time to time—the extent of my involvement with those morons, if it weren't for the few friends here, I'd go back to them if it weren't for their ideologies as well," Zaken mumbles the last bit, then says, "I always wear this, ever since well, ever since I've known to walk,"

Analeese: She raises an eyebrow at the mention of his name. Wasn't he the man Zora mentioned? Analeese continues to listen. "You do right. Most attacks happen when you don't expect them. I'd rather be alive than dead." She glances back to Zaken. "Best to take a bet on the devil you know, than the devil you don't. I met one of their number once, Zora Delene..."

Zaken: He scowls, "Lucky you," then rolls his eyes and continues to walk, "I've tried to forget about her, Scarlett worries me though, she can't fight," his voice is colored with concern now, "and honestly, she wouldn't hold her own if Zora did make good on her threat to mutilate and murder everything and everyone I care for," he looks away and his expression hardens.

Analeese: Analeese listens intently, still a little curious about her. Zora seemed dangerous, and pretty homicidal. The daughter of Nemesis knew when the hell to get out of dodge; and her hand went to her scabbard almost instinctively at the memory. "She was....intense." She adds. "I was lucky she was off-guard. Actually, she gave me a letter to give to you. I didn't open it. Sometimes, it's safer not to know."

Zaken: "Oh how special, a letter for me; where is it?" Zaken demands more than asks. Now he's uncertain as to what Zora might be up to, especially with sending him a letter.

Analeese: "Somewhere secure." The counsellor quips, with a shrug of her shoudlers. "I'll deliver the letter after practice. I assume that I can trust you to notify the relevant people, if she is indeed threatening to mutilate us all." She glances at Zaken, a glint of her mother in her eyes. "I hate bureaucracy, especially with all the shit a counsellor has to deal with. Unless it affects camp, it's not my concern..."

Zaken: "I tend to take matters into my own hands, best for others' to keep their noses out of the fece piles that often weed their way into the open," Zaken says, not really caring for expletives.

Analeese: "As I said, I don't particularly give a shit." She shrugs her shoulders. "But if something happens, it's camp's problem." She turns off, towards the training fields, where she can practice to her heart's content. "I'll give it to you at my own leisure. I wouldn't have mentioned the damn thing otherwise."

Ana finishes practice, and walks to the Nyx cabin where she asks to enter Zaken's room and hands him the letter in person.

Zaken: He takes the letter from Ana, "It'd be best if you left, as much as she trusted you to deliver a letter, a grievous task in itself, I wish not upon you the burden of hearing what's in it."

Analeese: "Hardly grevious." She shrugs her shoulders. "Sure, all mail from the covenant usually gets destroyed. Alexander could have my head if he found out." Analeese adds. "But it seemed important. As I said, anything which concerns camp. I want to know about. That's my only condition." She turns heel and walks out.

Zaken: Zaken opens the letter and reads, to Zaken, no red flags appeared in his mind, just the usual, telling him to watch his back, but there was something different about this letter, the hand writing didn't quite come across as confident, and seemed more like each word had to be thought about, which was unlike Zora's quick thinking mind. Zaken quickly looks up and runs after Ana, "Hey!" he shouts as he reaches the outside of the cabin, not sure where she was.

Analeese: Analeese pretends not to hear Zaken, instead walking outside, and taking a few steps outside. "On the count of three....two.....one." A smirk appears on her lips and she glances over her shoulder. "No need to yell Duaeldro. I heard you the first time." She comes to a stop. "She's done something hasn't she?" Ana asks, cursing herself under her breath. "What is it? Murder, Ransom, Extensive Torture with a giant pink feather duster?"

Zaken: "Did you really get this from Zora Delene; the coat is?" He asks, implying she should describe the coat so he can be sure that it's the same person.

Analeese: It takes her a second to catch on; because of Zaken's strange wording. "Blue, like the sky with brass buttons." She shrugs her shoulders. "In her early 20's, fairly tan, stocky, has a habit of making noises when irritated." Analeese replies. "Sound familliar?"

Zaken: "nnnng?" He asks, leaving it for Analeese to infer that she should tell him whether she recognizes the noise or not.

Analeese: "More like a nnnngh." Ana shrugs her shoulders demonstratively. "So, how much sh*t are we in exactly?" She asks, waiting for Zaken to tell her what was actually in the letter, and whether it concerned her or not.

Zaken: "It does not expect to bode poorly, however it will be just as well if this was never received," Zaken tucks the letter into his jacket, "Thank you, messenger, it would be better if you left so that you were not shot,"

Analeese: "As I said, couldn't give less of a f*ck." She says, adjusting one of her straps. "This messenger would prefer payment, but she knows the value of a favour." She smirks a little. "Pleasure doing business with you, Duaeldro. See you around."

Zaken: "Merit in payment is not that which a messenger shall seek, but the enjoyment of good breath after delivery," Zaken says coldly.
