Scylla and Chet[]

Chet: Chet spent his morning on a walk to the post office On his way back, he spotted a woman sporting armor. Walking over to near her, "Excuse me, are you expecting to get in a fight with a harpy soon?" His eyebrow raised slightly as he approach.

Morganna and Ryurik[]

Ryurik: Ryurik has just returned to his room after weeks at the Big Brother house. He tossed his bag by the door and turned to greet everyone in the cabin and let his counselor know he was back.

Morganna: This was third time in the last week that she was beckoned to the Prometheus cabin to clean a mess that the demigods couldn't sanitize properly. Stepping in through the door, Morganna had to duck her head to avoid the gnarling points of her horns from scraping the top of the frame. Moving into the foyer, she found the texture of the floor quickly morph from solid wood to a sort of quicksand consistency that made her begin to sink into a pit of clay. With a hiss of surprise and annoyance, she beat her wings in order to lift herself a few feet from the ground, shooting a glare at the young girl who dared to prank her.

Ryurik: He snapped his head to the commotion at the front of his cabin. Quickly making his way there thanks to his massive strides, Ryurik studied the situation and snapped his hand forward and solidified the floor under the harpy. "Ради всего святого (For fuck's sake)." He said as he followed the harpy's gaze to his half-sister. Forming a fist, clay reaches up and grabs his half-sister's shoes. Then thrusting his hand out, an arm from the wall behind her and shoves her out of her shoes into an awkward fall. "Show some respect." Ryurik turned back to the harpy and offered a small smile and apology. "Прости им (Forgive them), I don't know what has gotten into my siblings."

Valkyrie and Uselo[]

Uselo: Uselo stares fire at the campfire, almost laying up in his chair. He has a sweatshirt on with the hood up as the morning was brisk today. A handful of other campers pass him but no one else stays around the flames. Uselo keeps a small smile on his face the entire time.

Valkyrie: Valkyrie was wrapped in plush blanket that almost constricted her ability to walk so every few steps looked more like a waddle until she made it to the fire. In one hand she clutched a drachma and in the other she held what looked to be a flask, shuffling almost dangerously close to the fire before dropping the coin into the flames. It crackled for a minute, a bit unexpectedly and then the flames settled as she took a swig from her flask and poured a few droplets onto the flames - not enough to affect the fire much but it was more so that she could pour a drink to whoever she was gifting.

Uselo: The coin toss pulls Uselo from his quiet reflection, looking up at the new arrival. Waiting as she offers to the fire, he speaks up after giving her a moment to finish her prayer or reflection. "Good morning. Didn't expect it to be this cold either?"

Valkyrie: "Good morning," she said back before moving a few feet away from the flames as the heat increased. "Yeah, it definitely shocked my system. Thought I'd bring my blanket to firepit and warm up."

Uselo: "Certainly sounds like a good plan. And paying back good fortune or paying forward for some isn't a bad bonus." He turns his gaze up from the fire to her, smiling. "I'm Uselo by the way."

Valkyrie: "Plutus knows I have enough good fortune to spare," she said more off-handedly before grinning and holding out a pale hand, her skin so light that you could see the network of blue spiderlike veins that lingered just below the flesh. "Valkyrie. Nice to meet you," she introduced kindly.

Uselo: Uselo extends his hand to meet hers. His skin is darker and rougher, fas different than hers. He shakes her hand courteously. "I've had a fair bit myself lately, but always good to say thank you." After withdrawing his hand, he looks with a hunt of curiousity. "Is Plutus your father, or just a good patron of yours?"

Valkyrie: "Yeah, he's one of my dad's. My grandfather is also Dionysus through my demigod dather's side," she said before finally dropping her hand, head tilting to the side. "And what cabin do you belong to? Or are you a nymph?"

Uselo: He shakes his head, smiling a the thought. "No, I'm not a nymph. Son of Palaemon." Leaning back into his chair again, "Sounds like you've got a good bit of divine hertiage in your family."

Valkyrie: She was still learning all of her Greek gods, having hailed from Norway where the predominant mythology was Norse instead. "...Sharks, right?" she asked with a hint of curiousity, tipping her head to the side.

Uselo: Uselo chuckles lightly, nodding to her question. "Yes, god of sharks. he also has the domain of harbors and such." He looks up, pulling his hood off. "Can't say I'm too familiar with Plutus. What's his domain over?"

Valkyrie: "Very cool," she said earnestly and tilted her head to one side, red curls sliding off her shoulder and pooling down her back. "God of Wealth, agricultural bounty, wealth and riches in the earth. He was blinded by Zeus because he's a dick," she said with a slight laugh.

Uselo: "An unfortunate outcome." He answers, nossing his head. "Kind of odd given his fortunate nature from the sounds of it." Uselo gently joined in her laugh, hopefully not messing up the joke he intended.

Valkyrie: "Well, the rich is blind and so is my dad," she said with a laugh, alluding to the fact that Plutus was actually blinded. "But hey, he comes with wealth so I've got money thanks to him."

Uselo: "Fair, not may demigods get to have normal benefits from our godly parents" He chuckled as he looked back into the fire. "Some piece of mind is great to hear."

Valkyrie: "Yeah, apparently there is plenty of deadbeat parents around here. Dare I say all? Although, it just proves that even the gods are scared of mortality," she mused.

Uselo: "And yet they still fall in love with these who will know nothing else. Funny, isn't it? And I don't want to claim all gods are horrible parents. We may never understand their situation entirely." he added.
