Roleplay

Skylar: It had been a couple of weeks since Skylar and Glen had moved back to New Athens, in that amount of time the two men had realised quite quickly that a platonic relationship was impossible between them and thus...here they were. The television within their apartment was low, producing a kaleidoscope of colour throughout the room, illuminating Skylar's face as he lay on the couch, head buried in a pillow. The electric red digits of the clock next to him turned to 1 A.M, his snores drowned out by the soft murmur of the dolphin documentary that neither occupant would've been interested in watching normally. He'd fallen asleep waiting for Glen to come home, an obvious failure for him judging by the half-full coffee mug sitting on the table. He looked peaceful, almost as if the world was unable to touch him in this state - something which Skylar had been trying to achieve for years.

Glen: Glen hadn't meant to stay out so late when visiting the Deimos Cabin back at Camp, but he unlocked the door to their apartment and made sure to shut it quietly considering the time. He sighed as he set his keys down, thinking that Skylar must've gone to sleep by now, before noticing him on the couch and his snoring. He smiled softly, realising that he tried to stay up waiting for him and thinking how peaceful the whole scene looked. Making his way to Skylar, Glen pressed a kiss to his forehead and nudged him lightly. "Hey love, I'm home, I'm sorry I kept you waiting." He whispered beside him.

Skylar: Skylar had been in a deep sleep by the time Glen had came home, the dolphin documentary had changed to a rerun of some HGTV show where the husband and wife duo renovate a house. For some reason, Skylar loved it. It was the kiss on the forehead that woke him opposed to the nudge although it did help. With a large stretch, Skylar narrowly avoided hitting Glen in the face with his arm, groaning; "Wh-what time is it?" The sleep in his voice was clear and thick, "Did I leave the...the fridge open?" It was definitely going to take him a moment to get his bearings.

Glen: Glen noticed the tv show change, thanking the Gods quietly that Skylar was too sleepy to notice or he was sure he'd be forced to watch it with him. Leaning back slightly to further avoid being hit in the face from Skylar's arm, Glen checked the nearby clock. "It's about 1am, I got home quite late." He laughed at Skylar's next question, noting that the fridge door was very much closed. "Nope it's closed, you're all good." He placed another kiss on his cheek.

Skylar: Another big stretch and yawn escaped Skylar as he straightened himself up onto the couch, sitting up and extending his legs out. His face contorted slightly in pain, "Leg cramp..." he groaned, rubbing his leg trying to ease the pain. "Where were you?" He looked over to Glen, reaching his hand forward and stroking Glen's cheek. That man held Skylar's eternity in his eyes and he knew it. The slightest contact with them would just make him melt.

Glen: He smiled, leaning against Skylar's hand. Even in simple moments like these, Glen knew this was the happiest he felt in years. "Deimos' Cabin back at camp, I was meeting some of new siblings. Apparently some our old..."drama" still gets talked about so they asked me to explain." Glen admitted, feeling rather sheepish having to explain that. He sighed as he sat down next to Skylar, wrapping an arm around him. "I should've texted to say I'd be home late."

Skylar: As Glen sat down beside him, Skylar collapsed onto him - almost as if he was a pillow. He groaned at the mention of him and Glen's previous relationship drama, "Please don't tell me they talk about that time in the hot tub...OR HIM?" His tone was filled with contempt at the mention of that person who will not be named, it was very clear who Skylar was implying. He then paused for a moment, "I do wonder where he is...probably dead in a ditch...not really complaining."

Glen: Glen really couldn't help but keep being affectionate with Skylar, especially with the conversation subject. He kissed the top of his head as he played with his hair, clearing his throat. "Um...well they do talk about...all of it." He really didn't want to admit that one of the things they asked about was him, Glen only giving them the most simple of details. That was one of the worst points of his life and he didn't really want to discuss it in detail with his siblings. Glen nodded in agreement. "I don't care as long as he's never in our lives again." He stated simply as he hugged Skylar closer.

Skylar: His breathing subconsciously began to sync with Glen's, it was natural - he felt comfortable here. He nuzzled softly into the crook of his neck, "That was terrible, but...do you remember when I kicked him out of the cabin?" There was a devious smirk plastered on his face at this time, "Not my most mature moment but....definitely the most satisfying..."

Glen: Glen couldn't help the loud laugh that came out as Skylar mentioned the memory. It was hilarious to think about now, but at the time it was a lot for Glen at the time to deal with. "I do remember that, I may have been frustrated about it all at the time, but it's great to think about now." He cuddled Skylar tighter, sighing happily. "Life was very dramatic back then wasn't it?"

Skylar: A groan escaped Skylar, "Dramatic was basically my middle name...I swear..." He leant his head up a little and managed to kiss the side of Glen's jaw - not exactly the most romantic position but it was the furthest he was willing to reach, the fatigue beginning to overtake him once more.

Glen: "Well you're definitely not wrong there, but it won me over." He smiled as Skylar kissed his jaw, noticing that he was getting tired again. Glen was pretty tired himself, it had been a long day. He played with Skylar's hair as he spoke. "Maybe we should head to bed now and talk more in the morning? I think you're starting to get sleepy again."

Skylar: He agreed with that statement however much he tried to protest and gently grabbed Glen's wrist as he lethargically stood up from the couch urging him to follow wordlessly.
