Roleplay![]
Kara: Kara was very slowly walking to the dining pavillion, carefully holding up her daughter's arms to let the little girl "walk" in front of her. "Look at you, Nata! You're walking!"
Nata: The tiny baby in question grinned and took another wild step, which would have sent her tumbling if Kara hadn't been holding her upright. "Aa! Aalm!"
Alex: Alex walks tords the dining pavilion after a long training session with a few new kids. When she sees the young women walking with her baby and smiled at them.
Kara: Kara looked up to see Alex. "Oh hey! Haven't seen you in a while!" she called over. "Just practicing some walking over here. She's beginning to almost stand up!"
Alex: " Yeah, it sure has been a while." She said walking over to them. "Man i haven't seen you guys in forever. I was thinking about heading to the mall after lunch, to get some new clothes. Care to join me?" She asked pushing her hair out of her face.
Kara: "Ooh, tempting..." Kara looked down at Nata, who was happily swaying and walking along. "Y'know what? Sure! Nata hasn't been around to see the sights for a while, and I know she likes going out." She hoisted up the little baby and held her in her arms. "Ok kiddo, good walking. Mama'll carry you the rest of the way."
Nata: Nata looked over to see Alex and squeaked happily, flailing an arm in her general direction in an attempt to wave. Yay! Nata remembered the nice lady from... well, somewhere. She was nice. Still a little scary, but very pretty.
Alex: Alex seeing Nata wave at her made her smile. " So I'll meet you back here in 30 minutes, I've got to get some warmer clothes on. The forecast was supposed to be in the low 40s today."
Kara: "Sure thing!" Kara looked at the snow on the ground - it was maybe a little colder than low forties, but she wouldn't question it. "See you soon!"
Alex: " see you soon." Alex ran back to her cabin, took a quick shower and put on dark greay hoodie, and a pair of black boots that went up to her calf. She then put her favorite black leather jacket over the hoodie, and went back to the dinning pavilion.
Kara: After grabbing herself and Nata a quick bite to eat, Kara made her way back to the cabin and changed into a slightly fancier outfit. She took a quick look at Nata and mentally facepalmed. The little girl had practically soaked her shirt in applesauce. (And possibly drool. Ew.)
Kara sighed, but couldn't help smiling. "Ok, let's dress you up again, love."
Nata babbled happily and started sucking on her newly apple-flavoured shirt.
Ten minutes and one baby outfit later, Kara sprinted up to the path where she was going to meet Alex. "Oh... thank god." She coughed violently, and slowed to a stop. "I don't think we're late, Nata." She took a deep breath. Note to self: exercise and keep in shape from now on.
Nata: Nata giggled and squirmed in the backpack happily and kicked her feet, which were covered in tiny rainbow socks
.Alex: Alex came upon the dinning pavilion to see Kara slow to a stop after coughing violently. Alex yelled, " Hey! you made it." waving her arm in the air, and ran over. " Are you ready to go?" she asked.
OOC Discussion/Notes[]
Flop: I almost had Kara think it was likely way colder, but then I checked the actual weather, and holy heck, Long Island has crazy warm winters.
Nate: Yeah they do, but is the news man ever right? Its likely to be much colder than what Alex said.
