Elk: It was getting sort've dark but Elk was hiding near the edge of the forest. She was getting homesick. She didn't really miss her dad, since they never really talked, but she did miss her old school. She didn't really know if she belonged at Camp Half-blood. She had seen so many kids do crazy powers and she could barely hold a sword. All of these thoughts in her head gave her a bad headache. She peaked to make sure no one was around and then started crying. No, more like bawling. Water flew down her cheeks while she made a sound that almost sounded like a scream from afar.

Pietro: Pietro had been out in the woods for a run that ended up with him running for his life while a crazy tree nymph chased him out of the forest, all because he deiced to fire a few arrows into her tree. Pietro, not far from Elk, was lying down on the ground, trying to catch his breath, as he heard Elk crying. "Is there nobody that doesn't cry here?" Pietro said to himself as he got up and made his way, slowly, to where he was hearing Elk

Elk: From all the crying, Elk's vision was kind've blurry. So when she saw Pietro she thought he was a tree nymph. She then looked down, so he wouldn't see her crying and muttered, "Oh, is this your tree that I'm leaning on? I can move."

Pietro: Pietro laughed once he heard Elk think he was a tree nymph. "I don't own the tree so it doesn't bother me. Even if I did, I wouldn't care if you were on it."

Elk: She laughed at his comment then she felt stupid of herself for thinking him as a tree nymph. Then she felt embarrassed because he probably heard her crying. She didn't want to bring that up in the conversation so she introduced herself, "Oh, I'm Elk. Daughter of Demeter, I think. You can probably tell I'm new." Then she let out another laugh.

Pietro: "Elk, isn't that what some people call male deer?" Pietro said, trying to make a joke. "I'm Pietro, and my mom is Nike, not the company cause that is impossible."

Elk: She laughed again. This boy is really funny. she thought to herself. She then said, "Well my mom is the Goddess of Agriculture and my dad was an earth extraordinaire. So I guess when you put those together, you get a girl with a name of an animal." She then had a confused look on her face, "Um, I don't think I've heard of Nike. Goddess of what?"

Pietro: "At least it doesn't mean rock, like my name does. Nike's the goddess of victory. I think she is just victory."

Elk: "Oh, is that cabin the one with all the competitive kids?" She then looked out towards the camp. "We should probably go back to camp." Then a sudden question came in mind,"Wait, why are you in the forest anyway?"

Pietro: "That's very stereotypical but also true." Pietro started kicking the ground. "Probably should. I was out for a run until a tree nymph chased me out cause I got bored and starting doing things she didn't like."

Elk: She started heading up back to the camps. As she was walking she asked, "What did you do?" She then stopped for a second. "You didn't try to murder her did you? How do you murder a tree nymph?"

Pietro: Pietro laughed quietly. "I didn't try to kill her. I only shot some arrows into her tree, which had no chance of failing down. You kill one by killing its tree."

Elk: "Ok good to know." When they walked up back to the cabins, Elk didn't want him telling people she was crying so she decided to say, "You tell anyone I was crying and I'll end you." She knew she couldn't really do that but you know she had to fancy dagg- She decided not to finish that thought.

Pietro: "End me how?" Pietro asked as he pulled one of his sais out of his pocket

Elk: Elk shouldn't have said end him. It was a thing people said at her old school when they didn't want someone to tell a secret. She should've known not use the phrase on someone who trains to kill monsters. She was about to tell him it was a joke when she realized if she told him it was a joke it would make her seem like she couldn't fight. So she pulled out a dagger from her pocket, that she forgot she had there.

Pietro: Pietro looked at the dagger and started to laugh. "You probably don't even know how to use that, do you?"

Elk: Of course she didn't know how to use the dagger. She had only been at camp for around a few weeks, at most. Most people would apologize at the moment and stop what might just happen. Elk wasn't like most people, so she tightened the grip of her dagger and made a snarky comment. "Stalling, are you?"
