Passive

  1. Children of Poseidon can innately breathe and heal slightly faster underwater.
  2. Children of Poseidon can keep themselves and everything they touch dry in the water, unless they choose to become wet.
  3. Children of Poseidon can make air bubbles form under water, some large enough to contain allies and sustain them for a moderate time before popping.
  4. Children of Poseidon can survive falling from high altitudes as long as they land in water, they can also go as deep into the ocean as they desire without any effects from the water pressure.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Poseidon have the ability to create minor earthquakes, only large enough to knock anyone in the immediate vicinity of the user off their feat, and only for a few seconds.

Each constellation will appear as an enlarged version of the thing it is based on except for human based constellations such as Orion which will be the size of a human. No matter which planet they choose to assimilate with, they will be extremely drained after the transformation and they can only use the power once per fight. They may switch planets while in this state. Ex: The user is reflecting Earth to reach an opponent and then reflects Mercury to attack them. Once in this state, they lose access to their other powers. Excluding those that are passive.

Traits

  1. Children of Astraeus often wield innate knowledge of constellations, space and other planets in the solar system.
  2. Children of Astraeus can tell the time, date and their location simply by looking at the sky.
  3. Children of Astraeus typically dream of becoming astronauts, to explore the stars and other planets.

James:Hearing the voice yell out, James ignored it, just wanting to get out of camp without any of his friends noticing. Red then started exploring and came upon another dog, looking like he may get a little friendly with the over dog. "Come on mate, I don't have time for this" James said to Red. "Sorry about this" he said to the girl that owned the dog Red was getting friendly with

Audrey: A male voice spoke, and Audrey mistook it for him addressing her, rather than his dog. "Excuse me?" It was slightly difficult to avoid having to tell another person she was... visually impaired. Kasey barked at Red, wagging her tail and tugging to the leash.

James: "What I first said wasn't directed at you, I was talking to my dog but what I said last was" James said as Red started to headbutt the other dog like he would to James when he needs to go outside

Audrey" Audrey blushed. "Uh... yeah, right." Audrey rubbed Kasey on the head affectionately. "I'm Audrey. And I'm also very new."

James: "I'm James and you can sort of say I'm old but right now I'm not technically here" James said as Red now moved onto Audrey headbutting her to let her dog off its leash. "He is rather smart and stubborn so if I were you, I'd do what he wants" James said as he watched Red knowing from experience what may happen.

Audrey: As the dog nudged at Audrey, she unclipped Kasey's collar, keeping the leash oddly gripped in her hand like it was valuable. Considering only a little light filtered through her vision, she saw a figure and an animal, and at least one seemed friendly. "On your way out? Before showing me to my cabin. Awfully rude of you." Audrey smiled, picking up her suitcase again.

James: Noticing that Audrey's eyes seemed to be like she isn't looking directly at him, James figured that she could have some sort of defect with her eyes, knowing his from past experiences. "So what cabin are you from?" James asked as he took Audrey's suitcase from her while watching Red jumping onto Kasey's head.

Audrey: "Hebe." Audrey stated, squinting as the sun seared her eyes. Kasey sniffed Red, and starting to play with her new friend. Audrey didn't notice, only the occasional bark showed that Kasey was still there. Her suitcase was being taken, and she assumed it was James. "Lead the way."

James:"Ah Hebe, goddess of youth" James said as he started to lead Audrey towards the Hebe Cabin and possibly towards the cabins for the last time for a long time. As he started walking away, James realised Red hadn't followed him so he did a loud whistle making Red come over towards him. "So how'd you get your dog? Present from your godly parent like Red or just a normal dog" he asked.

Audrey: Kasey trotted after Red, glancing back at Audrey. Audrey managed to follow the clot of shadows, acutely aware of how lost she might be looking and walking, gripping Kasey's leash and wishing she just left it on her dog. Audrey decided stretching the truth was better than lying. "Ah, well, my father gave Kasey to me a couple years ago. She's still like a puppy to this day."

James:James started to put two and two together, Audrey's unfocused eyes, the way she seemed to hold onto Kasey's lease and the way Audrey got Kasey. "Don't want to be rude but by any chance are you blind or partially blind" James asked as they started to get close to the cabins.

Audrey: Audrey smiled, a twinge of bitterness lurking behind it. "I'm that obvious, huh?" She took a quick breath. "All I can see is some shadows and some light here and there, which makes me awfully clumsy." As if to prove her point, she stumbled on a tree root. "Normally Kasey guides me but I think today she deserves to explore. Sometimes my friends would help too but..." Audrey looked down. "Well, they can't exactly come here."

James: "Actually it took me a while but I think getting hit on the head by my surfboard to many times made me take a while" James said. "And at least you've got a good reason to be clumsy. Me on the other hand, has just got being an idiot." he said as he watched out for tree root knowing he may trip over one if he isn't careful. "I'm considered one of your friends right so you've got that running for you at camp but you've got loads of people around your age at camp so in no time I reckon you'll have heaps more friends" James said as he thought of on of his friends at camp. "Speaking of friends at camp, I may need to tell one of mine I'm leaving or he'll probably hunt me down and drag me back to camp" James said as he mentally told Red to get over to him. "Red I want you to find Nin in the Nyx cabin and bring him over to the surprise at the beach then here" he said to Red on his knees and then Red ran off towards the dark cabin that happened to the one for the children of Nyx.

Nin Nin opens his door getting ready for a run when he nearly stumbles over a dog in his doorway. He looks down and tries to figure out why it's there until it starts running in the direction of the beach. Huh he thinks before he leaps down the steps and takes off in the direction that dog is going in That dog is mildly annoying. It reminds me of someone.

Audrey: Audrey smiled. I had a late start getting to camp– will I be old and unexperienced? Audrey worried, but nonetheless she smiled. "I suppose you are my friend, James. And if I may ask: why are you leaving?" Kasey whinnied as Red trotting off but Audrey grabbed her by the collar, making sure she didn't run away. Audrey didn't clip she leash on, for she was afraid that in a place with such a large amount of demigods, more monsters would come. And the leash would be much more than a leash.

James:When Red found Nin, he took him to the beach and where the spot James bids his surfboard. The surfboard instead of having no design on it like when James had gotten it, the board now had black designs in the same way Nin's shadow tattoos are normally and on the board there was a note "Hopefully nobody finds this before you. Hope you like the design, did it myself so that is why it is so cringe. From your Aussie mate, James". "I'm leaving cause of every hero that was a child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades in the old stories from Ancient Greece didn't need a place like camp, training out in the real world with real world threats" James said to Audrey "I'm no leaving forever though cause this place will always be my second home, almost good as Australia".

Nin He looked around the place the dog had taken him and felt a strange sense of familiarity. He spun a looked around for a tree on the beach and found there he had taunted James from when they first met. He starts walking fast worried something is wrong and trips tucking into a roll and spinning on his heel turning back for the assailant. What he finds in the sand is a board with a shadowy tattoo like those on his arm when he does a weapon take-over. He walks over to the shade to read the note and looks ups sharply searching for his friend "James!!! Come out now!! You're not going anywhere unless you say goodbye in person". He looks up at the sky as if screaming at Zeus and yells out his friends name not wanting to lose him. That bastard! If he would have asked I would've went with him! No man's an island! You can't just leave! A wild storm of thoughts cloud his mind as he gets up and starts running along the coast of the beach still trying to find his friend.

Audrey: "I hope that I will grow to like this place as much as you," Audrey replied honestly. "Somewhere I can be safe, somewhere that I am not so... different." As they walked by cabins, Kasey would nudge for Audrey to stop so that she could sniff and become familiar.

Nin Nin grabs the board planning to beat James over the head with it for leaving and takes off in the direction of camp. He shadow travels onto the roof of a cabin and runs across roof in an effort to find James when he spots the dog that lead him down turn a corner. He jumps and tucks then rolls once his feet hit the ground popping back up in a hurry and almost tripping over a dog that wasn't the dog he followed. He puts his hands down in a handstand and flips back onto his feet recovering from the trip before spinning to apologize and hearing a familiar voice. "You were just gonna take off weren't you! You cheese eater!" he swings the board at James but loses heart and let's it hit the ground near him. He sinks to his knees afterwards and mumbles "Um. Sorry for tripping over you and the dog. My name is Nin and this melon head is my best of buddies James." He doesn't look u when he speaks to James "Why?" he says the word as a question that encompasses everything.

Audrey: Kasey barked sharply as the stranger bumped into her, and Audrey swiftly attempted to face the direction the sound came from. Clouds drifted over the sky, and it became difficult for her to decipher the shadows from the light, leaving her both figuritively and literally in the dark. Someone had come up to her and James and starting yelling. Nin, apparently, was his name. Audrey, slightly overcome with the yelling and the inability to visually evaluate what was going on, stumbled backwards, and just her luck– she tripped and fell over onto the tree behind her. Kasey barked again, just to confuse Audrey more it seemed.

James:James harden the water molecules when he saw Nin swing his old surfboard in case the board did hit him and when it didn't James made the molecules go back to their normal state. "Like I said to Audrey just before you got here, mate, I want to be as good as some of my famous cousins are half-siblings from the ancient times" he said as he saw Audrey fall over, moving over to her to help her up, with Red moving over to Nin, headbutting him.

Nin "You were planning to jut leave me with that surf board huh? I mean it's a good surf board but...I can't surf!" He raises his voice before looking towards the girl and lowering it again "Well it's too bad because I can't let you go by yourself". He crosses his arms and looks at James "Say I can't! Give me a reason why not." Before he lays into James more he notices that the girl is acting funny "Excuse me miss. Are you- Are you blind?"

Audrey: Audrey let James help her up, holding his arm until she got her bearings. She blushed as she replied to Nin. "Simply, yes, I suppose I am pretty much blind." The clouds rolled out of the sky, the sun no longer obcsured. As objects turned into more definite sillouettes, she looked between the two other demigods. "I'm sorry, should I let you figure this out alone? Made I could just, uh, find find my cabin somehow else."

Nin He rises to his feet his heart beating just a bit faster "I have a strange feeling that the full story is much more interesting than the full story." He glances at James before continuing "I am also considered blind but only in sunlight and places with bright light. Both of my eyes are entirely black and because of this I can see the light spectrum without color in daylight. Though at night I suppose I have what everyone calls normal vision" he wants to stop taking but he finds himself compelled to continue. "Are you anything like me? Is thee a way to cure it?" If I can be cured then I won't ever have to slow down again.

Audrey: Audrey blinked. She and Nin seemed to be more relatable than she expected the loud stranger to be. She explained her blindess how she did to James earlier, before trying at some dark humor."If I could cure my vision, why haven't I already?" She looked at him (or as best she could) as if to say, no, of course not. "Can you cure yours?" She asked, wondering why, if he did, didn't do it already.

Aria: Aria noticed Nin running across camp with a surfboard and she instantly knew that she was needed as damage control yet again. Sighing, she followed him to the Poseidon Cabin, where James and the newb girl she'd seen at the entrance to camp were standing. From the looks of it, James and Nin had started bickering again, but it died down into regular human conversation by the time Aria got there. Woah. That was unprecedented. "Um. Hi," Aria said as she arrived. "You guys aren't trying to start another death match, right?"

Audrey: Another set of footsteps crunched on the leaves toward her, James, and Nin. The sky had brightened, and the small feat let Audrey turn and face the new comer like nothing was different about her. "Death match?" Audrey asked, quietly bringing Kasey closer to her side.

Aria: "Death matches," Aria gently corrected. "You don't want to know about them. Heck, I don't even want to know about them, they were that bad," she said blankly, refusing to dwell further on those horrifying memories. "Anyways, I'm Aria, that person who met you at the entrance a while back. I don't think I ever caught your name?"

Audrey: Audrey blushed, glancing at Nin and James. "Right, Aria. I, uh, forgot your face, sorry. Oh, and I'm Audrey." She smiled uneasily. "And I know that, at least I am not, planning on starting a death match." Audrey relaxed slightly, but Kasey remained tense, eyeing Aria, like a coil waiting to spring.

Nin Nin smiles when Aria approaches and replies "No cheese for brains was trying to leave camp by way of note and a surfboard, albeit a cool one. I am trying to tell him I am coming with him and I was also talking to Audrey about vision." He forms a shadow wall and leans against it waiting for somethin or anything to happen.

Aria: "I thought the typical Poseidon-kid honorific was 'seaweed brain'. Huh, James, looks like you're special for having cheese instead," Aria joked, cracking a wry smile now that there wasn't an impending death match in the works here. "Well, I'm relieved you aren't trying to kill each other again, but I'm still not convinced James' journey isn't just a suicide mission in disguise. I taught him some survival skills, but as Nin eloquently phrased it, James has 'cheese for brains', and we can only pray he doesn't fall asleep in a myrmeke nest or something." Audrey's cute dog was staring at Aria now, aww. Maybe she'd try to pet Kasey later. "Nin, if you're tagging along with James, just make sure you two don't get into an argument and off each other. I won't stop you, 'cuz I've learned from experience that nothing on this planet can prevent you two from carrying out your shenanigans," she sighed. "And what were you saying about vision? I'm quite fascinated by demigod powers myself, especially vision-related abilities like those of the night gods' kids!"

Nin He wonders if maybe he should have this conversation with Aria some other time considering it was just James and the girl at first. Despite the thought he replies "My vision isn't a power from my mother...Well at least I don't believe it is. However in the day time or around sources of light my entire world turns black and white. Not so much black and white movie but more shining white light outlining mysterious black shapes. For me the most of the world is made of human, building, animal, car and so on shaped creatures outlined by light from the sun or some other source. At night I have a more normal kind of vision if what I see is normal where colors come into play and facial features." He says with a mix of seriousness and a dark humor "Glass is my worse enemy". Then shrugs and sighs "I thought I had finally found someone like me or maybe just maybe someone with a cure but looks like these Bug Eyes are the only pair I get."

Audrey: Audrey smiled wryly. "Well, Nin, it seems like we have much in common." She paused, before adding, "I mean, not about the whole night thing, but..." Kasey barked, and while still keeping a suspicious eye on Aria, nudged Audrey impatiently, anxious to keep moving. And the guide dog was right, she'd have to find her cabin soon. Audrey tucked a curl behind her ear and suggested, "Hey, James, perhaps you could show me wherever I should go– I feel bad for making you carry my luggage this long."

Aria: "I used to be annoyed that I had to wear contacts, but now I realize that I should really appreciate how lucky I am to live in a time where nearsightedness, at least, is curable," Aria remarked. "Y'know, a few centuries ago, no one could have imagined that today we have the technology to remove cataracts, correct myopia, and even replace portions of the eye entirely. We've managed to harness once-intangible light, in the form of lasers, to surgically alter human eyesight.Last year, EnChroma released a pair of glasses that partially corrected certain types of colorblindness. Heck, robotic eyes and lab-grown eye alternatives are improving at an exponential rate, and they may soon become feasible methods of curing total blindness. This is all with purely mortal innovation, too; no magical intervention required. Hang in there, guys! The things that seem impossible today will more than likely be a simple fact of life a few years down the line," Aria grinned. "But that's enough expounding upon the wonders of science for now! Audrey, you're a Hebe kid, right? Your cabin is directly ahead in the direction you're facing." She paused for a moment and looked along Audrey's would-be line of sight. "Actually, it's just the tiniest bit to your left. Like, maybe 5 degrees, but that small amount will make a big difference over a long distance. It looks like we're all accompanying you to your cabin, though, so just listen to our loud, obnoxious voices and you'll stay on course," Aria joked.

James:Staying quiet for a while because he had perfect vision all his life and wanted to keep Nin and the recently arrived Aria on their toes for where he was going and what he would be doing there. "It is ok I can still carry your bag. I've had to endure worse in my arms, like a hellhound bitting down on one of my arms" James said to Audrey as he kept holding her bag and watching Red move onto Aria and start head butting her. "And Aria I never wanted to start a fight today, just get out of camp before you and Nin notice that I e gone but it seems like I've failed that part of my journey" he said to Aria

Nin Nin realizes how serious his friend is about carving his legend into the stars and drops his head with a sigh. "James I considered you a friend and my only rival and I always will." He looks up his jaw clenched "If you die out there, go BC, or don't come back then i'll find you." A smile crosses his lips and he fist bumps his friend his left hand on his surfboard; shadowtraveling into nowhere after his fist connects.

Audrey: The blind daughter of Hebe managed another smile, casually petting Kasey on the head. Hesitating for a second, Audrey started to walk, hoping that whatever direction she chose led her to her cabin. Or at least that someone would correct her. Kasey quickly followed along, nudging her past trees to she wouldn't bump into them. Audrey felt out of place in all the goodbyes– she needed a hello, and preferrably one from a child of Hebe.
