The Love of Kit's Life (and the pain in her neck)[]

  • Willa: It's been a long day for Willa, between playing catch-up with her brother and meeting with the private investigator they hired to hunt their immediate family down. She's just now entering Camp Half-Blood's grounds after an exhausting day out. Jekyll already split up to meet with his siblings and Willa finds her way to the Mess Hall, where she sits on the Ares table for a late dinner. The nymphs won't mind, right? She's starving.
  • Anthony: With the sun setting in the sky, marking the end to another day, Anthony made his way over to the dining area - still not completely familiar with the rules to camp and fully prepared to have a feast at this time. No doubt the nymph's would have his head by the end of it all. It wasn't his fault though, Anthony would've set his sights on the food in his cabin but he'd already been scolded for eating most of the snacks people had been saving for themselves, what was he to do though? Starve? So there he was, trying to spot the table with his father's symbol when he caught a glimpse of another. His interest was piqued as Tony decided to walk over to her table and plop down in the seat in front of her. Were there any rules against sitting at another gods table? Who knew... "Hey there, mind if i sit with you? I reckon the nymphs will go easier on me if they see i'm not alone. I'm Anthony by the way." The son of Dionysus gave the girl a friendly grin.
  • Willa: Tony's presence isn't a welcome one, and she immediately shakes her head when he sits down. Normally she wouldn't be so short-tempered and would just ignore his presence, the past month hasn't been very easy on her and she's at her wits' end. She doesn't need to add men vying for her attention to her list of things to be angry about. "I'd rather you didn't," she deadpans, jaw setting as she nods her head towards another table in a very clear get out type of way. "Find your parent's table." Assuming him to leave shortly after, she turns her head and, seeing a nymph, waves her over to get some food cooked up.

Willa and Valerie[]

Willa Clayton WB

Daughter of Ares • Camper

Willa had just dropped off a very lackluster resumé at the café, hoping to score a job as a barista. The owner seemed amicable enough, and the place had a generally nice ambiance. It was the ideal job for her to make some money while continuing to live in Camp Half-Blood. She needed to start saving up and this was the best way she knew how. Having checked off the only thing she had to go that day, Willa decided to order a small black coffee before taking a seat at the couch in the second floor. Camp could wait.

ValerieWB

•Daughter of Hecate•

Seems as if the phrase two great minds think alike was somewhat true as Valerie pushed through the doors of the cafe, hoping to get a feel for the atmosphere and possibly apply. She read over the menu about five times before settling on ordering a small peppermint white mocha. As she waited for her drink to be made Valerie explored the first floor, only moving up to the second floor when her order was called out and grasped her drink in both hands. Easily, she spotted Willa... who wouldn't spot their doppelganger in a sea of faces after all. Valerie was stuck, not sure if she should approach her or not. Surely Willa wasn't over the whole situation with Kit but, Valerie was dying to figure out why they shared the same face. One minute exactly went by before the daughter of Hecate finally decided to walk over and clear her throat loud enough for the other to hear, hoping to let her presence be known.

It hadn't occurred to her anyone was near her just because of how many thoughts were swirling in her head and distracting her. Maybe another day she would have, but as it is, she doesn't realize Valerie is there until she looks - and then instantly regrets it. She opens her mouth to dismiss her. No words come out. She closes her mouth and frowns. Well, we do need to figure out why we have the same face, she muses. Willa sighs. She leans back on the couch and gestures at the one across her. "Sit." Might as well get it over with, right?

ValerieWB

•Daughter of Hecate•

Valerie fought back the urge to roll her eyes, it would do no good in the situation anyways, though, she didn't care for Willa's tone. Could she blame her though? Probably not... With that Valerie slide in the seat across Willa, flicking a loose strand of hair out of her face. "So... I've been reading through grimoire after grimoire and there are hundreds of reason why we share the same features. In the mortal world we could narrow it down to being long lost twins but, something tells me your not a daughter of Hecate..." Valerie could sense the tension in the air, she wanted to apologize for before but, she knew now wasn't the time.

Willa Clayton WB

"Do I reside in the Hecate Cabin?" she asks cooly, raising an eyebrow at her doppelgänger. It should be easy enough to piece as much together, so she doesn't know why she would ever think otherwise. "I don't think I do, so we're not twins. What else did you find in your grimoire?" Willa has little patience left to deal with Valerie, and she's quickly coming to regret the offer she made for her to sit.

Séphora and Bastien[]

Adelaide Kane WB

Daughter of Hecate • Camper

Séphora was a fool to think she'd recover from her injuries so quickly. She got too cocky and too confident, and it wound up landing her in the infirmary again. It was infuriating finding out she needed to take it a lot slower when she was used to a fast pace. Unfortunately, Apollo's Cabin had eyes almost everywhere, leaving her with no choice but to spend most her time in her cabin, near the campfire, at the dining pavilion, or at the pier.

Presently, she was at the dining pavilion. She was growing resentful just lying in her bed, and she wasn't in the mood for the ruckus that was always going on at the beach. It was too hot for a fire. Plus, it didn't hurt that the nymphs had brought her some Nutella-filled croissants.

Bastien

Son of Hades • Hound Tamer

The day was uneventful for the son of Hades, he'd been at the beach for an hours or so and then headed back to his cabin before deciding he could go for some food. So there he was on his way to the dining pavilion, Scanning the table for the one with the Hades symbol but, his eyes spotted something much more interesting. The corner of his lips pulled up into a smirk as he made his way over to the Hecate table and plopped down in the seat right across from Sephora. "Look who we have here... Did you go on a vacation or something? A bit rude not to inform your best friend, even more so not to invite him." Bastien voiced aloud to the other, ignoring the glares he was probably getting from the other occupants of the Hecate cabin.

The abruptness of Bastien's arrival makes her jerk back, eyes widening a little bit due to her initial surprise. As it wanes, she smirks. "My, my, my, look at that. The son of Hades has finally found me," she jests, with a laugh. His question makes her shift, a sudden coldness attacking her, but she does as she can to ignore it. He won't notice, right? "Now, now, now. I never said you were my best friend. Don't you think someone else is more deserving of the title? Maybe one of my siblings?" Séphora teases.

Bastien

Son of Hades • Hound Tamer

He could tell something was off, Bastien had spent enough time with Sephora to know when it was but, he chose not to press on it for the time being. At least not here, at the pavilion, he'd wait till they had a little more privacy. "Sephora please, don't offend me... we both know i'm the only one who can put up with your... Bold personality." He gave her that same lopsided grin, he'd missed her and Bastien was rather disappointed he had to experience camp without her at first. "Camp is kinda of boring you know? My first days here all I did was walk around... no one to entertain me."

Adelaide Kane WB

Daughter of Hecate • Camper

"Oh, you're the only one? I don't know, I've already met a decent number of people who would be all too happy to put up with me," she replies, grinning. Technically, that's a lie. She has met two people who may be willing to deal with her long-term, but neither of them are Bastien, try as they might. "Yeah, it's boring as hell. I miss life on the road, and it takes a lot for me to admit as much," Séphora adds, nodding out of agreement. "There's not a lot of variety. At least the only constant we had was the show. Everything else was so much more dynamic..."
