Children of Astraeus have the ability to focus an intense beam of plasma which will burn anything it touches. Defensive Children of Astraeus have the ability to summon a cluster of miniature stars directly in front of them which can be used to block incoming attacks; the stars, however, dissipate quickly. Children of Astraeus generate an orbit around themselves for a short time, all attacks and people near the user get caught in the orbit, causing them to fly around, unable to attack the user. The user cannot move while the orbit is active. Passive Children of Astraeus are innately stronger during the night. Children of Astraeus have the innate ability to see in all directions at once during the night. Children of Astraeus can innately adapt to most natural planetary environments within reason, meaning they're less likely to die of heat stroke and hypothermia. Supplementary Children of Astraeus have the ability to create temporary light sources, similar to concept of a flare, which will alight an area or blind an enemy for a short time. Children of Astraeus can manipulate the force of gravity of the planet and change the direction and force of it. They can cause items to float or stick to the ground for a short time or cause them to fly into a certain direction. Once the curse wears off, the item is immune to further use of it for a moderate time. Children of Astraeus have the ability to use the gravity pull of the planet to slow down enemies for a short time, giving them a high chance to avoid an opponent’s attack or prevent an opponent from avoiding one of the user’s attacks. Children of Astraeus can limit gravity’s effect on their own bodies, causing them to float up and fly. The longer they fly the more it drains them. 3 Months After Character is Made Children of Astraeus have the ability to conjure a small supernova, which will burn at anything in its wake on a 10m radius, as well as producing a loud booming sound coming from the explosion. It cannot differ friend from foe and will affect anyone or anything nearby. 6 Months After Character is Made Children of Astraeus have the power to cause up to three constellations to appear in their physical forms to fight alongside them. Each constellation will appear as an enlarged version of the thing it is based on except for human based constellations such as Orion which will be the size of a human. Constellations will dissipate after a short time, leaving the user moderately drained. Ex: If the user summons the Cancer constellation, it will be a giant crab that cannot be bigger than 2 or 3 times the size of the user. 9 Months After Character is Made Children of Astraeus have the ability to change the surface and mass of their bodies to reflect the surface and mass of a planet in the solar system of their choice for a short time. For example, if the user wishes to turn their body into flames, they would adopt the surface of Mercury. No matter which planet they choose to assimilate with, they will be extremely drained after the transformation and they can only use the power once per fight. They may switch planets while in this state. Ex: The user is reflecting Earth to reach an opponent and then reflects Mercury to attack them. Once in this state, they lose access to their other powers. Excluding those that are passive. As Mercury, the user’s body would be continually be on fire without injuring the user. In this state it is extremely difficult for enemies to look upon the user as the fire burns so bright it would blind them or severely damage their eyesight. As Venus, the user becomes surrounded with thick, toxic clouds that obscure them from view. As the clouds are toxic anyone who tries to touch them will be poisoned and become sick and nauseous. However, if they manage to get through the clouds they will be burned by the lava state of the user’s body, as Venus is an extremely hot planet. As Earth, the user’s body becomes gravelly and made of dirt, and the user may leave trails of gravel and dirt behind them as they walk. However, in this state the user has the ability to merge with the earth and travel wherever they please. As Mars, the user’s body becomes coated in fine red dust that falls off as they move. The surface of their body is cut by fine veins of water that can be used to shoot at people in sharp streams. As Jupiter, the user becomes intangible and they float about half a foot from the ground, as Jupiter is a gas giant planet. They also become extremely cold and toxic as Jupiter is surrounded by ammonia clouds. As Saturn, the user is granted the ability to fly, as the planet is another gas giant. The appearance of the user is blurry and hard to make out the features of. As Uranus, the user gains blue skin, and their appearance is also blurred similarly to if they assimilated to Saturn. As Uranus is classified as an ice planet, the user has the ability to freeze anything they come in contact and they can move quickly as there are extremely fast winds on Uranus. Traits Children of Astraeus often wield innate knowledge of constellations, space and other planets in the solar system. Children of Astraeus can tell the time, date and their location simply by looking at the sky. Children of Astraeus typically dream of becoming astronauts, to explore the stars and other planets.

A night by the river

Kyle: Kyle was feeling more than energetic tonight. The sky was clear and full of stars. He didn't feel like sleeping, so the boy decided to take a walk around the nearby parts of the forest. He grabbed his daggers and headed to the forest. Kyle made sure not to go too deep into the forest as it was a well-known fact that the forest was constantly changing and he could easily get lost if he wasn't careful. Finally he managed to reach a small, shallow river next to it - a small clearing. It was the perfect place to stargaze. Kyle lay on the fresh grass and lost himself in the feeling of calmness that the stars brought him. Soon he closed his eyes. He wasn't asleep by any means but just enjoying his night by the river.

Killian: Despite being a son of Deimos, it wasn't like him to go wandering around camp randomly at night. However, this night he felt restless and full of energy, and he didn't quite know what to do with it. Sure, he could have gone and hooked up with a few of his friends with benefits, but that hardly seemed appropriate given that he wasn't int he mood to really do that. So, he found himself walking along the shoreline of the river near the woods, soon entering a small clearing.

Kyle: Kyle heard a faint noise somewhere nearby. His body tensed up. He grabbed one of his daggers with one hand and summoned a flare in his other hand. He saw a tall blonde at the entrance of the clearing. Kyle said nothing, but he didn't drop his weapon either. Instead, he pierced the boy with his cold gaze and didn't move, ready to fight if the situation required it.

Killian: Due to the fact that the other boy was actually laying on the grass and Killian by no means had the intention to look down there, he didn't really notice the other and instead just sat down in front of the river, his gaze fixed to the moon as he thought about everything that was going on.

Kyle: "Who are you?" Kyle asked, still not lowering his weapon. He knew this clearing quite well, and it was almost always empty. Kyle was from a conservative tribe and didn't feel well around strangers. He had never seen this boy around camp, so his heart was beating fast.

• Killian: Upon hearing another demigod's voice, the son of Deimos turned to look back at the strange, his expression hardening and his mood souring; clearly, he'd come here for silence and instead he'd just stumbled upon what must have been yet another demigod, or one of those angry spirits that always complained. "What's it to you?"

Kyle: "Well you're killing my mojo so yeah - leave" Kyle continued, now with a sour note in his voice too. He hated arrogant people, and this boy was giving him exactly that kind of vibe. Maybe it was because of the leader of his tribe. Maybe it was something else. But this boy was just...trouble. 

Killian: "Can you not? Thank you. If you really find my presence so tiresome you're always free to leave yourself. I'm not doing anything and it's a free camp." He shook his head in disbelief and rolled his eyes at the other's attitude. What was wrong with him? He's just wanted to lie down on the grass. Was that so much to ask for?

Kyle: "No i cannot not. Because i have 1 free night in the past month and some random dude just happens to crash it." Kyle said with an angry note to his voice. What was with this guy? That said, Kyle lowered his weapon and lay back on the grass. He was too tired to care about some boy. He could do whatever he wanted for all he cared.

Killian: Killian rolled his eyes dramatically yet again, "And it's not my fault that this is your frist free night, so if you don't can't to ruin it jus shut up and stop arguing," he said firmly before also laying back down and himself and huffing in annoyance.

Kyle: "You're the one who came here last. So don't get all drama-class on me. I've seen so many boys like you..." Kyle trailed off for a second. "I may not know YOU, but i know your type. You get people hurt." With that Kyle shut up and continued just relaxing with his eyes closed. It didn't take him long until he finally fell asleep.

Killian: He was about to retire something when he noticed that the other boy was fully asleep, so he shut his mouth. You don't know me, he thought, frowning deeply before slowly falling asleep himself.

Kyle: Kyle was awaken by a sound he heard nearby. It sounded like the snapping of a branch. Then some grass rustling. "Huh?" he whispered quietly and hurried to grab his daggers. The two demigods were not inside the camp itself so a monster could very well be lurking around. The son of Astraeus took a quick glance at the other boy. It seemed he was asleep as well. He quickly stood up and slowly and quietly started moving towards the source of the sound.

Killian: The son of Deimos stirred in his sleep, clearly bothered by the sudden noise but not enough to develop a sense of alert alarming enough to awake him from his heavy slumber. His head had been throbbing from exhaustion before he'd crashed so it only made sense that his body willed him to go on.

Kyle: Kyle was nearing the source of the sound. He swiftly but quietly headed to the bush it was coming from with his weapons raised. When he arrived he jumped but quickly lowered his weapons when he a white bunny jumped out of the bush and hopped away. Kyle sighed slightly, then turned back to the other sleeping boy. "He won't go much further with these instincts. What if that was not a rabbit but a lamia?" the son of Astraeus thought and headed back to the spot he was occupying before.

Killian: Killian sighed placidly, shifting in his sleep to the side and yawning even though he was already asleep. The guy was too beat and he didn't know hat was to blame, either his crappy day, his crappy siblings, his crappy emotional management, or his crappy workout. Perhaps all of them were partly to blame.

Kyle: Kyle was starting to get slightly annoyed at this boy. First it crashed his night, now he's sleeping like it's nobody's business. The son of Astraeus lightly kicked the other boy's feet. "I don't mean to be too rude but you could have been eaten right now so take your pathetic sleeping schedule to your cabin"

Killian: He frowned upon being woken up by the other demigod, "What's your deal, honestly? And what are you even talking about? We're still well within the camp's limits, you idiot. I'm not dumb enough to snooze off outside camp without assigning someone to be the watch, and I can tell you for sure I'd never have you be my watch, since I hardly know you. Could you just mind your own damn business?" he snapped. Sure, it was a bit over the top, but he was particularly snarky and acerbic when woken up.
