Children of Apollo can teleport themselves by merging their body with sound waves and traveling along them. Which could be called "sound-travel". To do so, there must be source of sound at where they're leaving and going to. Like someone's singing or any device that plays music. Children of Apollo have the ability to shed their flesh and turn into a purely plasmic state for a short time and while in this state, the user is granted flight, immune to all attacks, receive a boost in their already existing photokinetic abilities and anything they touch is intensely burned; however, once the user changes back they will be extremely drained, nauseated and immobile for a long time.
Most children of Apollo are experts at basketball and other missile weapons or games.

Powers of a Daughter of Athena
Children of Athena have the ability to see each specific pressure point on another person and are proficient at striking them in order to immobilize or greatly pain another person for a short time.
Children of Athena are changed during battle and become stronger and quicker in combat than a normal human could achieve.
Children of Athena are able to generate loose materials or manipulate any loose materials found around them to weave a wall. The wall obstructs the view of anyone facing them, and also blunts attacks. However, it does not stop attacks entirely, it is only capable of slowing the attacks down (possibly say that the wall will cut like a bunch of woven stuff or something ~ spiders and what not).
Children of Athena, using their inclinations of battle and strategy, can most of the time, predict the course of action an opponent attacking them will take, and and are able to dodge or parry accordingly. However, if the prediction is wrong this may cost the child of Athena dearly.
Children of Athena have the innate ability of hyper-cognition. They are able to perform more complex mental operations than a normal human could achieve. They are able to process thoughts and learning far quicker than others with little cognitive effort.
Children of Athena have innate battle reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.
Children of Athena are able to communicate with and command owls. If the user gives too many commands, the owls will become frustrated and disobey.
Children of Athena have the ability to empower strength and intelligence upon nearby allies and instil fear upon nearby enemies with a deafening war cry for a short time.
Children of Athena have minor telepathic abilities, making them able to telepathically communicate with their allies and read the current thoughts of an opponent’s mind. But this mind reading does not always work.
Children of Athena through telepathy are able to alter the moods of a person or group of people for a short time. They are able to make an ally calmer and more courageous or an opponent panicked or depressed. Once a target has suffered from this power, they become resistant to it for a moderate amount of time.
Children of Athena can curse an opponent, temporarily ruining their ability to formulate battle strategies for a short time. With this curse, the target would only think up rather silly and quite awful strategies. This gives the user a chance to attack or flee. Ex: The target would fake a heart attack and fall back on the ground, thinking the user would believe it and give up on the fight.
3 Months After Character is Made
Children of Athena, due to the strength of their minds, are gifted with the ability of clairvoyance. They are able gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, for example beyond their normal sensory range or when unable to use their physical senses. Some techniques of clairvoyance are veridical dreaming, scrying and parasight.
6 Months After Character is Made
Children of Athena can curse an opponent with severe stupidity and ignorance, temporarily stripping them of their intelligence and knowledge. The curse can cause an opponent to lose their common sense, fighting skill and tactical abilities. The target could even be unsure how to swing a sword or use their powers properly. After a short time, the curse will wear off and the target will regain their intelligence and knowledge. Their minds will be resistant to further use of the curse for a moderate time and the user will be substantially drained.
9 Months After Character is Made
Children of Athena can turn into a normal sized owl of whichever species they select for a short period of time, allowing them flight. The user has the option to grow into a giant owl, it can be up to 2 to 3 times bigger than their size as a human. This will make the transformation more draining. As a giant owl, the user would be twice as fast as a normal owl mid-flight, be able to transport allies and possess a very loud scream. After the transformation, they are extremely drained. Unable to move and they could possibility faint.
Children of Athena are normally very intelligent, wise and clever. Able to easily excel in school.

Kylie: With her shift at the Infirmary having finished, she walks towards the Dining Hall, hoping to get something to eat before going on border patrol. As she walks, she folds the sleeves of her white button up so that it only reaches until her elbows, rather than her wrists. Apart from the button up shirt, she's wearing a pair of navy blue skinny jeans and white running shoes, as well as the bracelet her dad gifted to her a few years back.
Lallaine: She was tired of everything. One more, that James Spall was enormously a moron. But doesn't mind. She sits down on one of the steps of the Dining Hall, munching on a garlic bread and a glass of apple juice in her other hand. She let the crumbs fall over and doesn't care.
Kylie: As she headed up the steps, she gave a curious glance at Lallaine before shrugging and moving into the hall itself. She grabbed an apple from one of the fruit bowls on the Apollo table, as well as a bottle of water, before heading out once more. As she passes by Lallaine again, she takes note of the numerous crumbs on the floor and pauses for a while. With a small smile on her face, she addresses the girl sitting on the steps. "I hope you manage to clean that up before the cleaning harpies or one of the nymphs take notice."
Lallaine: She looks up at the blonde girl. "Yeah, I will. Don't worry," she says. "What's your name? Sorry, I don't talk to people that much." She finishes the bread in a gulp and takes some of the crumbs. She shrugs. "It's my life." She drinks from the cup like a tired person.
Kylie: She smiles lightly at the girl. "I'm Kylie. And you are?" She takes note of how Lallaine seems somewhat drained of energy. "Had a rough training session or something?" A sheepish expression appears on her face as she realizes that she might be prying. "Sorry, you don't need to answer the second question."
Lallaine: "Nah, its nothing. I'm Lallaine," she replies, now finishing the juice. "I'm sorry I'm so like a stupid brat." She slaps her hand on her lap. "I can't believe I'm going crazy. Or is it just really some things?" She looks up at Kylie. "You going somewhere?"
Kylie: She points towards the hilltop that signals the border of Camp. "I'm going on border patrol." She eyes Lallaine, as though thinking of something, before shrugging her shoulders. "Would you like to come with me?" Another grin appears on her lips. "And don't worry about going crazy. Everyone thinks like that when they first arrive at Camp."
Lallaine: She grins. "Well, somehow I thought of that." She picks up the crumbs, places the cup on one of the tables and walks back to Kylie. "Border patrol? That's cool. I would want to come." She spots a flock of sparrows near them. She throws the crumbs to them. "There. No dirt done."
Kylie: She takes a small bite from the apple in her hand before tilting her head in the direction she pointed at before. "Shall we? I must warn you though that border patrol is awfully boring. I mean, sure the view is nice but it loses its charm after an hour or two."
Lallaine: "Okay. I'll just admire the view for an hour or two, and I'll weave things with anything I can find. That'd be not so boring for me," she grins. "Let's go?" They start walking towards Kylie's spot. "What do you do there? Just stand and watch, or what?"
Kylie: A soft chuckle pours from her lips as she throws her bitten apple into the air and catching it with the same hand. "Pretty much! If I don't stay in one place, I usually just walk around Camp's perimeter. It's fun sometimes cus you can see practically everything so you're aware when something embarrassing happens to someone.
Lallaine: She snorts. "That's very nice. I hope something would happen today. Not that I want someone to get embarrassed. I just wanna laugh out." She sighs loudly. "Man, it feels like ages since I've last opened my mouth to laugh."
Kylie: She raises an eyebrow at the last statement before sending Lallaine a warm smile. "Well, I'm pretty sure you'll find many things here that'll make you laugh." She gazes fondly at Camp. "When I was new --gods that feels like it was so long ago-- I was pretty shaken, to be honest. I mean I just left my mom and suddenly I'm thrust into this crazy world of myths and monsters. Lucky for me, my half-brothers and sisters managed to make Camp seem like a second home."
Lallaine: "Thanks for some energy-lift. Sometimes it won't be my siblings. My friends do. I hope there'd be more. The true friends, I mean." She looks at Kylie again. "You're a daughter of who? You seem so nice.
Kylie: She grins proudly. "Daughter of the ever awesome Apollo, at your service." She jokingly bows, like how one would to the Queen before straightening up and tilting her head forward, in a sort of nod. "What about you? Who's your godparent?"
Lallaine: She claps her hands quickly and pulls them apart slowly like imitating an explosion. "I'm the child of the very famous Athena, always here to give you your needed advises." She bows lows with hands together like in a prayer, then jerks her head up a little, and whispers, "Though those advises are killing them."
Kylie: She lets out a hearty laugh before grinning widely at Lallaine. "I don't know if that thing about the advice is true, but I like you. I have a feeling we'll be fantastic friends."
Lallaine: "Sure! Why not?" She looks up and cups her hand over her eyes like looking into the sunlight. "Oh my, Athena and Apollo making a big boom! Never heard of that. It's like..." She starts singing in a deep voice like mimicking an old guy. "I see trees of green, red roses, too..."
Kylie: She lets out another laugh before shrugging. "Eh, I've heard of worse pairings. If it helps, my boyfriend's a son of the moon goddess. Now if that doesn't say something, then I don't know what does!"
Lallaine: She looks at Kylie like she saw a spectre. "Seriously? That's awesome!" She looks up and raises her hands. "Sun and moon, collide!" She clasps her hands and brings it down slowly and opens them. She looks at Kylie with a question, "What do you think that makes? Soon or Mun?"
Kylie: She crosses her arms, a contemplating expression on her face. "I think... that it's... 'Smoun'?" She grins sheepishly before another soft chuckle escapes her lips. "I have no idea anymore."
Lallaine: "Okay, whatever. This is all crazy," she grins and laughs. She throws her hands up. "Wow, this is like the best moment of my life ever! I really need to keep laughing some times, or always. And—oh! We're here!" She throws her arm forward, gesturing at the top of the hill. "Welcome to, uh, the Shimmering, Shining Border Patrolling Office of the ever infamous Camp Half-Blood!"
Kylie: "I think I should be the one saying that. But yeah, feast your eyes on the amazing activity that is border patrol!" She raises the hand holding the water bottle, pretending the bottle was a mic. "Now, passengers, please be careful not step out of the protective barrier around Camp. Failure to comply may result in a sudden and unexpected monster attack which may then lead to your untimely demise."
Lallaine: "Okay, L.O.L., madame. This is probably the best place I've been in my whole life and it is a very big opportunity to step in this sacred place full of boringness that everyone loves to enjoy their whole life," she says like a beauty queen speaking to a huge crowd.
Kylie: She sighs dramatically before leaning on one of the trees on the border. A grin is still plastered on her face which somewhat ruins the effect. "Woe to those who fail to see the beauty that is known as 'boring'. Their eyes have yet to be unveiled."
Lallaine: She keeps laughing until she drops. "Oh man. Why are we doing this?" she asks, still chuckling. "You know what, we should do this all the time. Border patrol wouldn't be so boring anymore."
Kylie: She nods in agreement. "Patrolling with a partner is definitely much better than doing it alone." She heaves a sigh however. "Now if only doing paperwork were half as fun as patrolling with a friend."
Lallaine: "Paperwork?" she asks. "I admit, I'm a child of Athena but I never liked paperwork. Patrolling's better." She rubs her arm and looks down the hill. "And you're right, Kylie. It is beautiful here," she admits.
Kylie: She smiles softly at the view of Camp then at Lallaine. "You're gonna wanna try the beach or the lake at sunset if you're into landscapes."
Lallaine: "Oh, please. Who wouldn't want to? Even the worst criminal would be breath taken by the beauty of our camp's resources," she says. She looks at Kylie and speaks, "We should go out together sometimes. Are we friends now? Or acquaintances first?"
Kylie: She shrugs. "Friends I guess? I never really had a boundary between friends and acquaintances to be honest."
Lallaine: "Okay. Friends, then." She smiles and holds out a hand. "I'm sure a daughter of the awesome-st Apollo would be a great friend."
Kylie: She grins at that before shaking Lallaine's hand. "And I'm sure having a daughter of the ever-wise Athena as a friend would definitely make my days more interesting... not that they aren't already."
Lallaine: She chuckles and takes a deep breath. "Well, I think I won't be sleeping for the night. And this night sounds good." She bites the inside of her cheek and plays with her fingers. "Hey Kylie! Since we've just met, I want to know more about you? I'm sorry, I'm so basic."
Kylie: She puts a hand on her chin, thinking about things to say about her. "Hmm I'm honestly not good about talking about myself... So uh, what do you want to know about me?"
Lallaine: She shrugs. "Well, the basics, maybe. Age, nationality, relationships, blah blah blah until we go smoother, yes?" she suggests.
Kylie: She nods in agreement. "Okay well, I recently turned 17, I'm a hundred percent American, not counting the godly side of course, and I'm currently dating a son of Pandia." She tilts her head to the side, trying to think of others. "Ummm, I've been at Camp for about 3 years now, and I'm currently Head Counselor of my cabin. I work shifts at the Infirmary too, so you can probably find me there on some days." She blushes a bit, realizing she's talking about work again. "Anyway, how about you?"
Lallaine: "Wow. Three years? I've been for almost three months!" She shakes her head. "Anyway, I'm 15, and yes, I'm American too, and... I have no love life." She raises her brows on this and giggles softly. "And I don't have much things to do here—maybe none, even. Just an ordinary demigod who keeps on stupidly wondering how her mother came to be Athena." She sighs. "And you said you're dating a Pandia child? 'Cause I happened to have a friend here who is—I don't know, I'm not sure—just starting to date one of Pandia's daughters."
Kylie: She chuckles a bit. "Give it a few more months. Your love life I mean. In this Camp, you're bound to fall in love with someone. It may not be the right person, but yeah, you'll definitely find yourself experimenting." She flashes Lallaine a bright grin. "When that happens, do be sure to tell me. New couples are always fun to spy on."
Lallaine: "Oh, fun to spy on, eh?" she grins sarcastically and rolls her eyes. "Whatever Kylie. But yes, I will tell you everything." She takes Kylie's hands and grins like a lunatic. "To be honest, I'm not too into these things, but then help me."
Kylie: A gentle smile graces her face. "Don't force yourself, mkai? Camp isn't about falling in love after all. It's about learning how to survive outside of these borders."
Lallaine: "I know. But then that's not all we have to think about right now. Well, actually, friendship and weaving comes first in my mind. That lovey-dovey thinga-ma-bob will have to wait." She smiles.
Kylie: "Trying out the stuff here at Camp should also be on your priority list." She grins. "You've not lived until you've had a taste of the chaos that happens here."
Lallaine: "Out there: Feel and life is to live. Here: Danger and chaos is life." She looks at Kylie. "That's the best and weirdest thing I've ever had in my whole life. But then I still have some business with someone, who I would really want to kill. I mean, not literally." She shrugs.
Kylie: She stares curiously at Lallaine. "Oh? Already have someone you're at odds with, eh?"
Lallaine: She nods. "He's one of the reasons why while at the Dining Hall I was thinking madly. He's like a brother that you really want to strangle." She sighs. "And another one who keeps on ignoring me even if I didn't do anything to him. Or if I did," she shrugs.
Kylie: She frowns a bit. "Well, I'll have to admit I've never been ignored. I can understand the brother that you want to strangle part though."
Lallaine: She knits her brows together. "Why, do you have someone that you want to do the same, too?" She shivers. "Ugh, didn't bring my jacket."
Kylie: She nods. "My half-brother, Adam. Well, let's just say he and I never really saw eye to eye." She shrugs. "Eh, it doesn't really matter anymore though, since we sort of managed to leave on good terms." Seeing the daughter of Athena shiver slightly, she scoots a bit closer to Lallaine before holding her hand out and concentrating a bit. Soon, a small orb of light a little smaller than her palm appears, providing not only a little more light, but also some warmth. She frowns lightly at it before shooting an apologetic look at Lallaine. "Sorry, this is about as big as I can make for now. Can't risk something exploding or catching unwanted attention now."
Lallaine: She opens her mouth in surprise and stomps her foot. "Wow. That was awesome! How I wish my mom has powers like that!" She covers her face with her hands to stifle her happiness. "But then—" she tucks her hair behind her ears "—what do you mean about 'never saw eye-to-eye' with your brother...Adam, right?"
Kylie: She nods before resting her hand on her lap, the orb still glowing. "Well, he was basically a egotistic jerk who didn't have the word 'sensitive' in his dictionary. You know those High School bullies you see on television? He's basically like that, only more... powerful, I guess." She made a face before sighing. "But some 5 months ago, he changed. I don't really know how or why but he did."
Lallaine: She wonders for a while. "Changed? Like he became good or something?" The wind blows cool on her. She shrugs it off.
Kylie: She nods. Since she was already sitting, she brought her knees up to her chest and rested her elbows on them. "I think he got into a fight or something. Got his ass whipped. Guess it humbled him." She shrugs lightly.
Lallaine: She tries to stifle a laugh. She sits beside Kylie and blows out a long breath. "Well, guess that'd done you good." She rubs her arms and thinks of changing the subject. "It's really cool up here. So, this is what you guys do all the time?"
Kylie: She nods. "Yup yup. Well, at least us counselors and lieutenants. We're the main team who patrols, as far as I know." She heaves a heavy sigh, shifting a bit for a more comfortable position. "If I'm not patrolling, I'm working at the Infirmary, teaching archery, or paperwork and organizational stuff around the cabin and recording studio." She shakes her head. "Sometimes I feel more like some maid or teacher than a teenager."
Lallaine: "Now that's a lot." She sighs and hugs her knees. "Sometimes, I like doing a lot of things, 'cause after that, I feel so good, like I've done a lot help for others." She shakes her head and chuckles lightly. "Sadly, I don't have anything too much to do."
Kylie: She pats Lallaine on the shoulder with her free hand. "Don't worry. The longer you stay here, the more you'll find things to do."
Lallaine: "I hope so." Ugh, this is so going dramatic, she thinks. But then, Kylie's a real pusher and a mood-lighter. "Anyway, thanks for being a great friend, even though we've just met. I'm sure the camp's lucky to have you here."
Kylie: She blushes lightly at the compliment, before waving it off. "I think it's the other way around. I'm lucky Camp's here." Her eyes sweep across the landscape in front of her, seeing other half-bloods training or mingling, the satyrs and nymphs doing what they do, and the architecture of each building. "Every day life just got more exciting ever since I got here."
Lallaine: "Sooner enough I'm going to see those improvements while I keep staying here as the time passes by." She looks at Kylie. "Have you ever gone out the Camp? I mean, not just by the park or anywhere, but as in outside it? A quest, maybe?" She feels so curious about things now.
Kylie: She tilts her head to the sky, trying to recall ever having done so. After a couple of seconds she nods her head but keeps her gaze on the sky above. "I've gone on about 2 quests, if memory serves me right. I visited my mom some weekends too."
Lallaine: The idea of her visiting her parent makes her long for hers. "That's nice," she says, giving a weak smile. "I'm hoping I'd see my dad. Though maybe next time I'll try." She tries changing the topic she brought up again. "So how was the quests? Sorry for my stupid-don't-know-what-to-ask questions."
Kylie: She chuckles lightheartedly. "It's fine. All new campers have some questions that only few people can answer. Anyway, the quest..." She tilts her head a bit to the side in thought. "I guess I can describe it as... thrilling. I mean, you have a goal to complete in only a few days. Monsters attacking you left and right. Fighting for your life. It may perverse of me to say it, but I quite enjoyed all those near-death experiences."
Lallaine: She smiles at Kylie's experience. "Pretty nice to dream of. Though not quite the thing people would like to do. They'd think we're psychos."
