Character's Powers

 

  1. Children of Hades can create one weapon out of diamond at a time or enhance an existing weapon of their own or an allies with a diamond coating that makes them unbreakable and stronger. After a short time, the diamond weapon/coating becomes weak and brittle.
  2. Children of Hades can create very small fissure in the ground which spew small amounts of hellfire for a few moments before closing. The hellfire is more powerful than normal fire, but it’s likely to harm the user, so this power must be used carefully.

  1. Children of Hades have the ability to create a dome of hardened soil and diamonds, roughly two or three times the size of the user, which can be used to block attacks for a very short time.
  2. Children of Hades can conjure a set of very durable bone armor around themselves which grants enhanced protection against physical attacks. The longer the armor is maintained, the more energy is drained. After which, the armor grows weak, brittle and falls of the user’s body.

  1. Children of Hades are able to communicate with and command the dead, able to sense spirits or other undead beings.
  2. Children of Hades can sense when a mortal, half-blood, nymph/spirit that they know has died through a "buzzing" in their ears.

  1. Children of Hades have the ability to Shadow Travel, to teleport from shadow to shadow; the further the distance, the more energy drained.
  2. Children of Hades have a heightened control over undead and can usurp dominance from others who control undead who aren’t also children of Hades.
  3. Children of Hades can telekinetically move dead matter.
  4. Children of Hades can bend shadows around them, concealing them for a short time.

  1. Children of Hades are able to summon skeletal/zombie humanoids/animals to do their bidding, the more animals summoned and the bigger they are, the more energy is drained. Any armor/weaponry the undead possess increases the strain of the summoning. The undead can then be controlled by the mind of their summoner; the longer they are summoned, the more the summoner is drained of their energy. This is after three months.
  2. Children of Hades can use their energy to enhance their undead minions causing them to be more limber and be able to endure more attacks, essentially, undead meat-shields. The user can fight beside the constructs, but not at full force. This is after six months.
  3. Children of Hades are able to use many recent deaths to empower themselves for a short time, making them stronger and quicker. The user is immune to all attacks and receives a boost in their existing abilities over necromancy. Once the transformation subsides and the user reverts to normal, they are immensely drained, cannot move and could possibly faint. This is after nine months.

Character's Powers

 

  1. Children of Eris have the ability to focus an intense beam of chaotic energy which will burn any organic matter it touches. Any inorganic matter it touches begins to slightly break, warp and disintegrate.
  2. Since Eris could be considered a war goddess, her children can decrease an opponent’s strength and combat abilities for a short time, leaving them vulnerable to attack.

  1. Children of Eris have the ability to create a field of chaotic energy around them for a short time, which stuns anyone who steps inside of it and deflects attacks.
  2. Children of Eris can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time.

  1. Children of Eris are innately stronger in times of battle or any other kind of chaos.
  2. Children of Eris emit an aura of chaos and discord, making people around them more likely to misbehave and start fights. They can shut it off for a long time if they wish.

  1. Children of Eris have the ability to force a state of confusion upon another person for a limited time, allowing the child of Eris to attack or flee freely.
  2. Children of Eris can create a short lived “storm of strife” which causes everything within it to change, warp, or break. The effects are random, but typically powerful and can stretch over a wide area depending upon the amount of energy put into it, the larger the field, the more energy it drains.
  3. Children of Eris have the ability to cause a group of people or animals to become irrational and fight amongst themselves for no reason for a short time. Which can give the user a chance to attack or flee.
  4. Since their mother was depicted as a winged goddess, children of Eris can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly; the longer they maintain this state, the more energy it drains. They must rest between flights and cannot make long distance traveling without resting often. However the wings are vulnerable to injuries and magic; they can also be customized to the user’s preference.

  1. Children of Eris can create a small explosion of chaotic energy at a range of about 12 meters, but the blast radius is only about 5 meters and it takes a few seconds to explode, during which the point of the explosion sparks and pops. This is after three months.
  2. Children of Eris can use their powers over chaos to affect reality in an illogical way. For example, they can splash water on an opponent and cause severe burns and get hit with a hammer and it will just tickle. Only one aspect of reality can be thrown into chaos at a time and it will only be in effect for a short time. Afterwards, the user will be substantially drained. The power cannot be used so that it would cause severe damage, such as breathing or blinking would cause their brains to explode. This is after six months.
  3. Children of Eris can draw power from all the chaotic actions and desires they’ve seen, felt, or committed in their lives and become an embodiment of chaos. This would make them more powerful, making them immune to all attacks, enhancing their physical prowess and power over chaos they previously possessed. This only lasts for a short time, after which the user will be so exhausted they’d lack the ability to even move for some time and could even faint. This is after nine months.

Roleplay

Gypsy: She led Margeaux to the training arena. "This is where we train. Jillian is one of the younger kids, daughter of Astraeus." She motioned to a girl standing awkwardly and waiting for Gypsy.

Margeaux: Margeaux looked at the other girl and waved. She had never heard of Astraeus, but then again, she thought all the gods were just stories before this anyway. "Hey," she greeted. "I'm Margeaux. Uh, Daughter of Eris." Sort of. All she had was the letter claiming her to be so.

Gypsy: "I thought you said you haven't been claimed yet?" Gypsy asked, confused.

Margeaux: "Not like officially. When I was born, my mother gave my father a letter explaining everything. Who she was, Camp Half-Blood, and so on. And then he dropped me off at a friend's and never came back. So, I know who my mother is, I'm just waiting on her to acknowledge my existence." Margeaux replied.

Gypsy: She raised a brow and pulled the Fates from her utility belt on her shorts. "I wish my dad would ignore me, instead he sent hellhounds to kill my mother."

Jillian: Jillian carefully unsheathed her knife. "...He did?" She was surprised. "Gods don't really send monsters to places... and if Hades did, it would be the Furies, not hellhounds..."

Gypsy: She shrugged. "He controls a lot of the creatures down there. I mean he has Cerberus among other hellhounds." She turned to Jillian. "Ready?"

Margeaux: Margeaux sat back and listened to the other two girls talk. She knew how to fight relatively well already, but she decided to just sit back and watch for the moment.

Jillian: Almost instantly, Jillian moved to a defensive stance, knife at the ready. "Um, okay." She shook slightly before steadying.

Gypsy: "Okay, try coming at me. Your goal is to disarm." She said.

Jillian: Jillian focused, and put a hand forward. With a slight feeling of vertigo for the trio, gravity suddenly increased drastically - but only for Gypsy's knives, making them as if they were thirty pounds each.

Gypsy: When her daggers fell, she focused on the ground. She prayed the girl would have sense to jump back with what happened next. She focused on the ground, cracks forming from which hellfire poured upwards.

Jillian: Quickly, the smaller girl jumped forward, higher and farther than she should've been able to by augmenting her jump with low gravity. She landed right in front of Gypsy, knife at the ready in a defensive pose. Jillian smiled slightly. "Disarmed."

Margeaux: Margeaux watched in awe at the two girls sparred, and jumped back when the ground split open and gave way to hellfire. Maybe there was something to this after all...

Gypsy: She focused on putting up the small dome she usually did when sparring. It gave her enough time to move and grab both of her daggers back up. She resumed her defensive stance.

Jillian: Scanning the dome quickly for any weak points, Jillian stabbed at the structure with force, trying to break through or shatter it. She's got some skills. I wonder what she'll do next... For some reason, Jillian wasn't as scared when in combat - her mind was focused and ready for the task at hand.

Gypsy: She watched Jillian, hands at the ready. She was ready for the next few hits. She scanned the arena for something she could do.

Jillian: Wow, she has a solid defense. As she burst through the barrier, Jillian threw her knife straight towards Gypsy - carefully aimed to only nick her shoulder and not seriously injure. Subtlety, Jillian focused her gravity powers, in case Gypsy wasn't able to stop the blade about to hit her.

Gypsy: She was able to barely dodge, dropping her weapons again before she reached to pick them back up and throw one towards Jillian. It was then that she focused on the earth, the ground in front of Jillian splitting once more to release small spouts of hellfire.

Jillian: Jillian jumped back, but not quite quickly enough to avoid a bad burn on her right leg. Hissing in pain, she focused and curved Gypsy's knife through the air to catch it perfectly. Twirling it experimentally, she regained her footing. "Not bad..." Wincing, she sent her own knife whistling through the air to land in her hand, wielding her blade and one of Gypsy's.

Gypsy: She raised a brow, staring at Gypsy. She had been focusing on making a type of armor to cover her body, out of bone. She stared hard at Jillian. She still had other dagger, of which she pulled her arm back to throw it at the girl aiming for her thigh.

Jillian: After a small stumble, Jillian ran forward, both knives at the ready. She had an idea... but it would be difficult to pull off without accidentally injuring herself further as well.

Gypsy: She danced back away from the girl, despite having her bone armor she still needed to ve careful.

Jillian: Jillian pursued, hot on Gypsy's heels. She needed to be close to pull this off. With a downwards stroke towards Gypsy's chestplate to set her off balance, Jillian focused and used her gravity powers to pull the skeletal armour to the ground - hard.

Gypsy: She let her armor go down but in doing so, she swiftly kicked out with her legs aiming for Jillian's torso.

Jillian: Hit straight in the gut, Jillian staggered backwards, coughing, but kept her gravity powers completely focused. Standing out of reach of Gypsy's legs, she regained her stance, breathing heavily. "Want to call it?"

OOC Discussion

Mink: Okay, guys. I was thinking we could have Margeaux observe first since she hasn't done any training sessions. To see where Jillian is at.

Kit: I'm good with that.

Flop: Sounds ok to me. Jillian's still new to fighting, but getting pretty handy with her dagger. And she's getting the hang of a few of her powers, too...

Flop Again: What happened? The page is suddenly saying that there's complex code so visual editor has been disabled. Are you both using visual editor?

Mink: I don't use visual Kit does though.

Flop: Ah ok. Visual editor still works if I edit each section individually, thankfully :)

Mink: I'd use visual editor but its hard for me to use and I do much better with the coding part.

Kit: I can't use visual editor on my phone. I have to use source.

Flop: I'm not going to lie, I completely forget what Jillian's next move was going to be. I'll improvise.

Flop again: How did Gypsy just let her armour fall? She's wearing it, the move was intended to pin her to the ground.

Mink: She's still wearing it, that's her letting herself fall to the ground so she can kick Jillian with her feet in the abdomen.

Flop: Ah ok sorry, wasn't sure based off of the wording.
