Connor and Rose, The Pond[]
Rose: Rose was ever so bored that day, so she decided to take a walk. She strolled down the pavements of the camp dribbling her basketball to the pond. Connor: He was on the other side of the pond, sitting on a large boulder. He was hugging his knees, while throwing a few pebbles in the water, one at a time. He watched as they slightly renounced on the water due to the impact of the throw. Rose: She finally found her way to the pond and stared at the clarity of it. In the pond were two giggly water nymphs gossiping. Rosetta grew bored and dribbled her ball swiftly, but the ball accidentally dropped in the pool. Connor: He sees the ball splash into the pond, directing his head towards the source of it. He found Rose, and raised an eyebrow. "Sports' girl missed her shot?" He asked in a mocking tone. Rose: She glared at him. "Well pleasant to see you, hawk boy." She said snarkily. Connor: He yet again raised his eyebrow at her reply. "Someone's feisty." He commented. "Would you want me to get that ball for you?" He asked, putting a simple capability in question. Rose: She rolled her eyes. "I can get my own ball, thank you." She lifted up her skirt and went into the pond to retrieve her ball. Connor: He followed her into the water, unbothered by the state of his pants. He made his way to the ball, getting it. "Nonsense," he said in a nonchalant tone. "I would never let a damsel do any dirty work." He handed her the ball, smirking. Though his opinion was biased, since she was already wet, he didn't care about it. He only merely wanted to help her. Rose: She turned red and grabbed the ball out of his hand. Rosetta then smiled a bit at him only to push him back in the water. Connor: He had only stumbled back a bit, his smirk seeming more amused. He put a hand on her shoulder, gently yet jokingly pushing her at his turn. Rose: But Rosetta lost her footing and fell in the pond, causing all the fish to swim away. Her momentum caused a big splash making the water nymphs curse at her. Connor: Directly by gesture of reflex, her swiftly picked her up, away from the water. He was kind of holding her bridal-style, before his face turned red, as he realized what he did. He quickly put her back on her own feet, slightly staring at her for a brief moment. Rose: She awkwardly stared at Connor too, but looked back and her face too turned bright red like a tomato. Connor: He rubbed the back of his head, unsure what to do. He wasn't sure why he was acting so awkward all of the sudden. He was usually confident around girls, but there was something different about her. "Er, sorry about that..." He apologized, in attempt to break the ice, not showing whether it was for pushing her or holding her. Rose: She looked back and silently nodded. "So- uh how are you Connor?" She asked curiously still a little embarrassed from the pond incident. Connor: He was relieved she changed subjects, slowly taking back his confident posture, seeming more at ease. "Well, I'm good." He simply answered. "You?" Rose: "Decent, met a couple of snotty and weird girls." She replied back. Connor: He nodded. "Same here, but most of them are cuter than weird." He said, instantly regretting the last part, unacknowledged of why he even suds it in the first place. It would have been less embarrassing if he wasn't referring to her. Rose: Her face expression remains the same except her heart hurt. "What pretty girls did you meet?" She asked a little bit curious in what the girls were like. Connor: He internally became nervous, and even curious on why it would intrigue her. A small spark of hope grew in his mind. "Uh... They all seem the same, you know... Pretty?" He said, hoping she wouldn't ask any further questions. Rose:" So basically you only notice the looks of girls?" She said her eyebrows creased and her arms folded in a demanding way. Connor: It was getting harder for him to not blurt out that he was talking about her, and that the other pretty girls just didn't matter to him, considering her hard tone. He kept calm despite his anxiousness. "I didn't mean it like that. They just don't mentally stand out to me..." He said, trying to not make his words come out meek, but failed as they did. "Like I said, I don't really notice them. Why so curious?" Rose:She glared at him with her intense hazel eyes, huffed and stormed out of the pond looking for a towel or a drying source. Connor: He sighed. He blew it. Before they even had the chance to get to know each other, he blew it, all because he didn't want to confess his growing feelings. He couldn't run after her, he would seem desperate. Connor looked down, his hands tucked in his pockets, and walked out of the pond in the opposite direction. Rose:She looked behind her and saw Connor head out of the opposite direction, she was close to tears and rushed to her cabin. |
The Coffee Shop[]
Rose: After the horrific accident with the boy she thought she liked, Rose decided to go The Coffee Shop, one of her favorite places to go to for reading or just an afternoon snack. She sat down on a table and pulled out a book to read. Connor: He was at the counter, ordering some coffee. The place looked particularly crowded, so the line was long. In his hands, he was carrying a huge pile of books, all about the history of hawk-hunting, which Hermes demanded he'd read to get to know how he could prevent any incidents. He took the coffee, putting it on top of the enormous pile of books, luckily keeping it from falling. He found an empty seat, at Rose's table. Unfortunately, he didn't see her face due to the books, but caught a glimpse of her hair locks to deduct that the person in front of him was a girl. "May I sit here, miss?" Rose: She nodded behind her book and went on reading. Connor: He put down the stack of books, unable to see because both his books and hers. He began to read, but got distracted. Out of the corner of his eye, he was still looking at the girl. Something was so familiar, and not knowing what made him frown. "Do I know you?" Rose:Rose recognized his voice and cursed under her breathe in Greek. "Probably not, I'm new to camp." She said a voice one octave above her normal voice." Connor: He sighed. They were in a mortal place, where mortals could enter. "I never said anything about any camp." He finally said, pushing his books aside, his full attention on her. "I know it's you, Rose." Rose: "Crap." She muttered under her breathe and uncovered the book from her face, her bright brown eyes were gleaming. Connor: He suddenly felt intimidated by her piercing eyes, but forced to keep the same expression. "I'm sorry if I hurt you earlier." He apologized, not sure why. They weren't really in a relationship or anything, but he still felt bad for it. If she got mad about it, he figured it meant that she would really care. That, or she wanted to protect the feminine tile. So many thoughts and possibilities past through his head, but he tried to toss them aside and concentrate on the one person that mattered at the moment, Rose. Rose:She tied her hair in a simple ponytail while still glaring at him. "Okay." She answered simply. Connor: He still wasn't sure on why, but she still seemed mad. (Urgh, boys.) He twirled his hands around his cup of coffee, not really knowing what to say next. Rose:She remained silent until the waiter came to ask what they wanted to eat/drink. Connor: Since he already had his coffee, he ordered another coffee for Rose, before she could even reply. The waiter went on, leaving them both alone, staring at each other. Rose: She muttered something about wanting ice coffee. Connor: He sighed, and went to change her order. By the time he got back, his expression was slightly irritated. "Happy?" Rose: "Very." She said smiling at him. Connor: He rolled his eyes, flipping one of his books open, still looking at Rose from the corner of his eye. Rose: She flipped open her macbook and googled up, "What if your crush doesn't like you?" The results were amusing like try to be his friend or just forget about him. She decided upon being his friend. Connor: Unacknowledged of what she was searching, he continued to read his book. A few seconds later, he got a bit bored of his book, already knowing all the information shown. He looked at Rose, getting a little intrigued by her, which was easy since he had nothing else to do, but was still a tad curious. "What are you looking at?" He asked in a neutral tone. Rose: "Recipes for sugar cookies?" She said smiling innocently at him. Connor: He shrugged, not really wanted to get into those girly kind of things. (Guys, so blinded >.<) "Alright then." Rose: She rolled her eyes while still kind of staring at him while sipping her ice coffee. (Ikr?) Connor: He blinked, noticing her staring. "What?" He asked, confused. "Do I have something in my teeth?" Rose: She shakes her head, "What are the color of your eyes?" She asks regretting it once she asks it. Connor: He was startled by her sudden question, his expression a little shook. "Uh... Blue, I guess?" He answered. "Why?" Rose:" They are quite gorgeous.. they remind me of the oceans I saw with my father when we used to go the beach.." She said blushing. Connor: His face reddened at her words. He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. Friends compliment your looks, no? He didn't need to be nervous. Even if he wanted to, just to think that she might even like him. "Er... I like your hair?" Rose: "No one ever compliments me, mostly everyone at school thinks I'm ugly…" She said awkwardly. "And thanks.." She said touching her hair. Connor: He seemed more at ease, since she revealed a piece of insecurity. Something they had in common. "Well, they're wrong. You're very pretty." He admitted, blushing as he did. Rose: "Thank you.. you are not bad-looking yourself you know?" She said blushing too smiling brightly at him. Connor: He slightly started to smile. "Thanks." He said. "What do you say we go back to camp?" He proposed, realizing how late it was getting. "I bet I could beat you to it." He challenged. Rose: "You're on, but no turning into a hawk." She smirked at him. Connor: He sighed and muttered. "Fine." |
The Path to Camp[]
Rose: She ran through the forest to the camp staring at the beauty of the autumn leaves. Connor: He ran aside her, only a few inches separating them. He kept a fast pace, and was more-or-less equal to Rose. Rose:She saw him and tried to out-run him but unfortunately she was wearing a pair of converses. Connor: He grinned as they ran along the path, marching over the dozens of dead yet beautiful leaves. Suddenly, a small beast was blocking their way. At first sight, it looked like an overly-big dog, but he then realized that it was in fact a hellhound. He stopped Rose with his arm, pulling her behind, protectively. Without further a due, he reached for his pocket, where 2 twin daggers were discreetly tucked in. The monster growled. Rose: She stumbled in surprise and grabbed her hair clip which turned into a sword. Connor: Before they could make a first move, the hellhound leaped on Rose, pinning her on the ground with its weight. It began slightly scratching her with its claws, before Connor pulled the beast off her, with all his force. The monster was unstable, giving Connor enough time to stab it repetitively, before it turned into dust, leaving its remains scattered on his clothing. He was breathing heavily, not from exhaustion, but from the chock he had when it attacked Rose. He turned to her, his daggers still covered in hellhound-leftovers. "Are you alright? Rose: She rubbed the dirt from her shoulders and looked at her slightly tattered sleeve. "Yes, thank you Connor!" Connor: Despite her tone, he was reassured. He stared at the sky for a second, lending them a moment to think of the previous situation. "We better get going." He said, as they continued walking. Rose:"Of course.." She said slightly smiling. "Don't want to get murdered by some BC members.." (Wink) Connor: He nodded, as they continued their way to camp. Since their walk was ruled by silence, he took a risk, and interlocked his hand with Rose's, discreetly. He didn't make any eye contact, but just kept moving. Rose:She felt a smile tug on her face when he locked his hand with her and gave him a reassuring smile. Connor: He tried to resist the urge to stare at her beauty, in order to stay in a friendly basis. After all, he wouldn't want anything to be too sudden, or it would've probably freaked both off them off. He saw her smile, and looked elsewhere, as he was smiling too. Rose:She continued starring at him until she tripped over a log >.< and clutched her foot. Connor: He had lost his grip on her hand because of the sudden collision. He looked at her in concern. "Oh dear, are you okay?" Rose:"Yeah, but my foot isn't." She said grinning mischievously trying to not show her pain. Connor: He frowned, somehow seeing through her eyes that she wasn't fine at all. Without saying a word, he picked her up, carrying her. She was now dangling from his shoulder, and he stayed silent as they walked, as it would only make things more awkward. They eventually made it to camp. Rose:She smiled at him and kissed on the cheek. "Thanks for everything, Connor." Connor: He deeply reddened, putting back on her own feet, since Nike's Cabin was barely a couple of feet away from them now that they've entered the borders. Thank the gods it was dark, or she would've noticed his blush. "No problem." Rose:She hugged him and hobbled to the cabin, where her siblings help her make her way to her room. "Bye Connor!" She turned around and waved goodbye to him before disappearing into the cabin. |
Swimming Time at the Lake :D[]
Rose: She was wearing a bathing suit and hobbled to the lake for a swim with her leg in a cast. Connor: He was on the edge of the small pier near the lake, wearing his swimming shorts and a T-shirt. He was starring at the water, looking at his reflection. Rose:She put her left leg in the water and her cast was lying above the water swinging. Connor: Rose was merely a couple of feet away from him, but he didn't notice her presence. He took his shirt of, and entered the water. Rose: She looked in the lake and saw Connor and gasped as he took of his shirt. "Nice abs." She muttered under her breathe with a smile. Connor: He didn't hear her comment, but did hear her gasp. Her turned around, and found Rose, with her cast. He slightly blushed realizing that he was shirtless in front of her, which he tried to hide while he approached her. "Hey Rose. Are you feeling any better?" Rose:"Yep, I went to the infirmary after dinner." She blushes slightly as he tries to hide his body. Connor: He had his arms crossed in front of his chest. "Do you think it's a good idea to be swimming with your leg healing and all?" He neutrally asked, showing slight concern in his tone. Rose: She blinked a little before answering. "Truth is I'm not here to swim, I'm here for sight-seeing." Connor: He frowned. "What kind of sights?" He asked, since there was nothing more than a lake in front of them. Rose: "The beauty of the sea, the clarity and the tropical fish that lurk in these lakes." Connor: "Or admire me?" He said, more out of sarcasm than narcissism. Rose:She rolled her eyes. Connor: He smirked. "Do you feel good enough to stroll around the water?" He proposed. Rose:"I think I can manage." She gets up. Connor: He went in a little deeper in the water, until the water almost reached his waist. He gestured her to follow. Rose:She gulped and looked at her leg before diving into the water and following Connor. Connor: As she joined her, he slightly held her waist as if a reflex, since her foot was still slightly injured. Rose:She looked gratefully at him and smiled a bit. Connor: He smiled, staying silent for a while, just looking at her eyes and studying her hair. For a little too long. Rose:She self-consciously stared her hair which was just a brown mess tied in a fishtail braid. She wondered if Connor found her attractive, which was kind of impossible considering how hideous she was. Connor: He cleared his throat, trying to break the silence. "So..." Rose:"Why were you staring at me?" She asked very curiously. "Is it because I'm ugly?" Connor: He frowned at her question, but blushed at his answer: "No, not at all. You're gorgeous." Rose:She laughs lightly. "Thanks Connor you're so sweet." Connor: He didn't know why she laughed, as his words were sincere. Modesty, perhaps? He gently pushed off a strand of hair that was dangling in front of her eyes, still stabilizing her by holding her waist with his other hand. "I mean it." Rose:She smiles at him and blushes deep red, resisting the urge to kiss him. Connor: He realized she was blushing, and took his hand off her hair, thinking he made her uncomfortable. They stood silent, simply staring at each other in a lake. Just the usual. Rose:She simply stared at him wondering how Hermes created such a perfect guy. Connor: The silence that dwelled between them wasn't awkward; it was full of fascination. He starred at her traits, not wanting to speak as it would break the moment, not to mention create an uncomfortable one. Without any hesitation, he gently kissed Kane, on the lips. It was short, but it felt like an eternity for Connor. Rose:When she pulled back she gave him a wide eyed doe expression but smiled gently at him before kissing him passionately on the lips. Connor: He was now actually wrapping his hands around her waist, more than steadying her. He returned her kiss, pulling out to stare at her. Rose:"I like you Connor..." She whispered before going down in the water and swimming away a little dumbfounded from the kiss. Connor: He slightly extend his hand to reach out for her, but she was already swimming away, leaving Connor with an intrigued yet disappointed expression on his face. What just happened? It might have been a better idea to think about it. He swam away to shore, sitting down on the small pier, starring at Rose's vague silhouette while she roamed in the water. Chasing would have shown that he was desperate, which he was, and even the vulnerability that he had always feared of having. |
The Party[]
Pippa: "Hey Connor, welcome to my party!" She gave him a flirtatious smile before greeting other campers. Connor: He entered the party, looking neutral about his decision of coming. He didn't like to party much, but his schedule was cleared, thus giving him no other choice than to come, unless he'd wanted to watch grass grow. He greeted Pippa with a smile, moving on to the snack area, where there wasn't many campers in. Rose: She came to the party wearing a pastel floral dress and looked unrecognizable with her hair down in curls looking nervously as she smiled at Pippa and moved also to the snack area. Connor: He was leaning against the wall, being unrecognized by strangers, whom passed by every now and then with a grin plastered on their faces. Happiness. He'd always wondered what it felt like. Before meeting Rose. At that thought, Rose walked in the room, coincidentally at the precise moment of his assumption. He remained silent, remembering how awkward he might have made her feel at the lake. After all, she might've only said she liked him to not make him feel like an idiot. Which would've been the reason, considering how he lacked sex-appealing. He kept his face hidden under his hoody, hoping she wouldn't see him. Since he was the only person currently in the room, the odds that he would fool her were mere. Rose:She saw Connor but didn't recognize him but was going to talk to him when Pippa interrupted her. Pippa:"Here Rose." She handed Rose a full glass of wine and gave her an innocent smile. Rose:She sipped a little of the wine, but really liking the taste of the wine but drank the whole glass in a few gulps. She felt a little crazy and felt free like a bird. Rose then started laughing crazily before collapsing on the ground. Pippa:She giggled at Rose and smiled mischievously before leaving her alone with Connor. Connor: He got a worried feeling when he was alone with a drunk girl. He took off his hood, his eyes slightly widened. Pippa:"Hey Connor!" She squealed at him and tackled him to the ground and kissed him on the lips. Connor: He got startled by getting pinned on the ground. He deeply blushed, turning his face scarlet red. "Wtf?..." He muttered between the kisses. Not that he minded getting kiss by her, he would have wanted it to happen when she want drunk, when he would know if he actually liked her and not take advantage of her vulnerability for his own desire. "Rose..." He nervously whispered. Thank the gods the door was closed. Rose: "You're really hot, you know?" She sing-songed and drank more wine. Connor: Coming from her tone, he guessed it was booze-talk. He wouldn't have even imagined those words coming from her mouth, drunk or not. Still, he had a nervous expression on his face. "Rose. Please, when one of us is drunk, and the other isn't this... It just isn't right." He calmly said, despite his agitated expression. "Just not now." Rose:She gave him a pout. "Awh poop." She said puckering her face like she was sucking a lollipop. Connor: He blinked, finding the pout a bit childish yet frightening at the same time. "Rose..." He whispered. "Could you get off me now...?" Rose:She then collapsed, probably from the impact of the wine. She was not very used to drinking big amounts of wine. Connor: His eyes widened, "Oh great..." He muttered. Connor gently pushed Rose's unconscious body aside, question of getting up in order to help her. But his push wasn't well succeeded, and the next thing he knew, he was on top of Rose. He shook her shoulder, gently, trying to wake her up, muttering her name multiple times. Rose: She lay still on the ground moaning about food. Connor: He frowned, confused, but remembered she was drunk. He gently raised her body, inclining her back on a wall. "Rose..." He patiently said. "What kind of food do you want?" Rose: "Pizza." She muttered. Connor: He raised an eyebrow, an for a brief, brief moment, he thought she was just messing with her. He sighed, and grabbed a slice of pizza, nonchalantly handed it to her, kneeling to do so. Rose:She grabbed it and daintily ate it, "You know what'll be great with some pizza? Wine of course." She smiled. "C'mon Connor it wouldn't hurt to drink." Connor: His face seemed hesitant, even though he could counterpart her opinion by dozens of facts. Moments passed before he finally answered. "Alright... Fine." Connor sighed, getting a bottle for them. Rose: She grabbed her drink and giggled a little before chugging it down. Connor: He looked at his bottle, looking hesitant. Hearing Rose's giggles, he sighed, before taking a small sip. He couldn't stop himself after that. He took other chunks of wine. Before he knew it, his eyes looked dazed, and were now starring at Rose. Rose: "Well hottie don't you love it?" She squealed in delight and threw herself onto Connor. Connor: He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her. The drink was starting to get to him. "It's great...~" He said in a dreamy tone, brushing off the hair that was dangling in front of Rose's eyes. It was one thing to caress someone's hair in a lake, meaning all emotions shown. It was another to do so while drunk at a party. He couldn't sens the difference, since he couldn't remember the event due to his drunkiness. Rose:She then leaned in and kissed his lips lightly. Connor: Her felt laughter come out, because of the wine, before kissing her back, a bit more passionately. Rose:She snuggled her face into his chest before falling asleep. The next day... Connor: The room was empty, and the snack bar was drained. Connor woke up, finding Rose besides him, wrapped in one of his arms. He slightly yelped, in a manlier way, but with the same amount of surprise any normal person would've had if they woke up to find a girl next to him. He analyzed the previous events; drinks, kisses, snuggling, and... Pizza? That was what he remembered, at least. Rose:Her eyes fluttered happened and she examined her surroundings and found herself next to Connor. "What the heck happened yesterday?" She said in a small voice. She was experiencing her first hangover, experiencing huge headaches. Connor: He winced, not feeling so well himself. The pain stopped, and his vision was crystal clear again. "Think hard. Real hard." He said, in a serious tone, almost a little severe. Rose:She tried her hard to think but didn't remember anything but only coming to this party. "Let's see I came to this party… and?" Connor: He sighed. "We got drunk. Do the deduction." He said, not out of annoyance, but not wanting to admit it himself. Rose: She facepalmed hard. "Did we..?" Connor: He frowned, silently getting her half-asked question. "No, of course not," He answered "but you did madly kiss me." Rose:She blushed furiously. "You do crazy things when you're drunk." Connor: He blushed at his turn, since his statement wasn't quite casual. He suddenly calmed down, seeing Rose's expression. He swiftly, yet in the most possibly gentle way, caressed her cheek with his thumb. "You know," he softly started, "sometimes it's just better than crazy." His words a gesture to make her feel any less embarrassed. He actually had fun for once. He retrieved his hand, and when a boy should either have been grinning or disappointed, he kissed her forehead. Maybe the moments they had when they were drunk might not have been sincere, but would have happened when they were fine. At least, to him, that is. Rose:She sighed and smiled at him. "I wouldn't have mind... you know kissing you?" Connor: He opened his mouth to answer, but before he could say anything, a shrieking sound came from the window. He turned to search for the source of the noise, only to find a hawk tampering on the glass, as if trying to get Connor's attention. They had one of those telepathic conversations for a few seconds, which could easily have been perceived considering Connor's complex expression, before the hawk left, leaving Connor alone with Rose again. He blinked, seeming confused. "I'll have to get back to you on that." He said, before opening the window. He quickly turned into his hawk-form, and extended his wings, which almost reached the frame of the small window opening. Without saying another word, he set flight to join the bird that has previously departed, leaving the girl in suspense. Rose:She gasped a little and thought of Connor's reaction. Did he like it? Did he hate it? Thoughts swirled through her head like a hurricane. |
Rose's Room[]
OOC: Continuing the RP here, so they're pretty much eating the sandwiches in silence. Your turn to post. Rose: She continued reading her magazine, chewing her ham and cheese sandwich while curiously watching Connor out of the corner of her eye. Connor: Whenever he eyed her, she would look at him, causing him to think she noticed his starring. He looked elsewhere, and saw that it had gotten darker than expected. Rose: She just continued reading, basically ignoring him. She then began to feel thirsty, though it wasn't appropriate to drink Coca Cola or 7up at this time of the year so she dug through her cabinets and pulled out some hot cocoa packets. "Would you like some hot chocolate?" Connor: He sat in silence, scrolling the comic book he had finished. They were hanging out together like friends , which almost blurred the fact that they had kissed. Maybe it didn't mean anything for Rose. But it did to Connor. He wanted it to be more than that. He just didn't know if she would want that. His thoughts were set aside by her voice, as he shook his head. "I'm good." He responded, seeming hesitant to ask something. After a few seconds of silence, he finally proceeded. "Say, Rose... You never actually told me if you were single." He said, hoping that it would pass off as a casual topic. Rosetta: She softly bit her lip while getting up to make some hot cocoa. "I apparently am." Connor: He nodded, afterwards staying in silence. Rosetta: "Why did you want to know?" She asked curiously. Connor: He raised an eyebrow, wondering if the truth was written all over his face. "Well, if you did have a boyfriend, I don't think he would like the fact that I'm in your room." He lied, his tone seeming obnoxious. Rose: "Um okay... but my boyfriend would've been somebody who wouldn't mind another male in his girlfriend's room." Connor: He chuckled. "He wouldn't be the least cautious of what might... Happen?" He teased with a grin on his face. Rose: She rolled her eyes. "He would at least trust me." Connor: He smirked, "Would you really want your man hanging out with a hot girl in a room with all the intimacy in the world?" Rose: She blushed a little. "I would trust him." Connor: "I'm not so sure about that. It's a good thing you're single for now, though." Rose: "Why is that, hawk boy?" She crossed her arms. "I love it when my friends have dates on Friday nights while I sit all home watching Netflix." Connor: He gave her an innocent shrug. "It gives us the freedom to watch romantic comedies on Netflix together without getting me beaten up by some demigod." Rose: She nodded and grabbed her remote to turn on the TV. "What show or movie do you want to watch?" Connor: He wasn't actually serious about the movie part. At least not at the moment, but he shrugged it off. "Anything would suit me." He said, getting up to sit next to her, now facing the TV. Rose: "Titanic it is!" She gave him a grin while grabbing chips from under her pillow (which was her stashing place). She loved titanic because of the romance, and that the main character's name was Rose. Connor: His eyes widened. "Oh Zeus..." He murmured, sitting on the couch. (Let's just say there's a couch in the room, in front of the TV :3). Rose: Sh squealed when the beginning appeared. "Love this movie!" Connor: He made the expression on the gif, trying not to fall asleep. The movie must have been on for 15 minutes before he frankly yawned, stretching his arms, and placing one on Rose's shoulder, completing the cliché. Rose: "OHHHH!!!" She squeals when a good part in the movie comes and doesn't notice his move. Connor: He was glad she didn't react negatively to his move, which he didn't let show. His eyes were getting tired, but he managed his best not to fall asleep. That would seriously have upset Rose's "bf". Rosetta: She was still wide awake and didn't notice Connor's sleepy eyes. Connor: He had removed his arm, as the movie was around halfway done. Eventually, he couldn't keep up, and slowly started to fall into slumber, his head landing on her shoulder. They've technically shared a bed. How bad could her reaction be? Rosetta: Just when a boring part came on, she focused on Connor and noticed he was now in slumber. "Connor?" She shook him lightly. Connor: Her voice woke him up, in a startling way. Agitated, he retrieved his head and gave her a peck almost reflexively. Rose: She gave him a flabbergasted face. "The heck?" Connor: Despite still being sleepy, he widened his eyes, noticing his move. He made an awkward face, not sure what to say about his kiss on her cheek. Rose: "What the hell was that?" She glared at him. Connor: He honestly didn't know what to say. He felt like a kid getting yelled at by his teacher. Maybe it was a sign that she just wasn't interested? Well, now he knows. "... You startled me." Rose: "Whatever." She ignored him and continued watching the movie, sort of pissed and thought that he showed that he liked her but it was an accident. Connor: After that, the movie went on in silence. His concentration was dwelling on the incident, as he thought that she must be hating his guts right now. Rose: When the part of Jack dying, Rose started bawling hard. Connor: He raised an eyebrow, wondering why in the world she'd be weeping over a fictional death. He awkwardly patted her back, unaware that he was leaving his hand for too long. Rose: "Stupid Rose! She had enough space on the boat.. for Jack!" Connor: Yet again,http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/e4/35/c1/e435c112f2451e54f42a0dbb1c4f92fa.jpg Rose: She glared at him. Connor: He innocently frowned. "What?" Rose: "No need to give me your innocent nod!" Connor: He smirked. "I had to reassure you that your intentions were ever so possible, darling." Rose: She rolled her eyes. Connor: He sighed, as the movie ended, turning to face Rose. Rose: "That was an amazing movie!" She sat aside her popcorn. Connor: "Robbocop would've been better..." He muttered under his breath. Rose: "What the heck is Robbocop?" She arches her eyebrows and looks at Connor with a puzzling expression. Connor: "Only one of the most kick ass movies ever." He whistled, surprised she didn't know Robocop. Rose: "Wow... " She snorted through her popcorn. "Sounds... thrilling?" Connor: "Believe me, it is boss." He replied. "I need to show it to you some day." Rose: "Please.. you really don't need to show me it!" Connor: "Tomorrow it is. It's probably still running at the theaters in town. I'll pick you up." |
The Theatre[]
Rose: She was wearing her floral shirt and her slightly ripped jeans, waiting for Connor to pick her up for the movies. Connor: During the afternoon, he had been anticipating their reunion. He wasn't sure if she took it as a simple hang out or a date, though he would've preferred the second option. Dressed in a grey T-shirt, jeans, converse and a denim jacket, he was now standing in front of the door to Rose's room. While entering Nike's Cabin, he had received some unexpected mischievous glances that he didn't understand the source of. He knocked the door, waiting for a response. Siblings: Some of them snicker at Connor while passing by. Rose: When she hears his knocking she panics and does a quick little hair flip and checks her face for any uncovered acne spots, breathing in and out she quickly opens the door for Connor and gives him a flirtatious smile. Connor: He tucked his hands in his pockets, giving her a sheepish smile. "Hey. Ready to go?" Rose: She smiles at him bashfully and grabs her phone and her purse. "Yup, let's go!" TIMESKIP Connor: After buying their tickets, they arrived at a half filled theater hall, finding two free seats in the back of the room. The trailers had shortly ended by their arrival, as the movie commenced. Rose: She had bought two bags of popcorn and sat next to Connor waiting for the movie to play Connor: The movie played, the action commencing. He took a few bites of popcorn, discreetly taking Rose's hand. Rose: She awkwardly gave him a grin and started focusing on the movie. Connor: Every now and then, he ate some popcorn, enjoying his time with Rose. Having seen the movie, and only wanting to give her the opportunity to see it, he mostly adverted his gaze on Rose; and her perfect features. Rose: She was enjoying the movie and squealed at the action parts, slightly ignoring Connor. Connor: Every time she girlishly squealed, he supposed she had gotten frightened by a part, and softly pressed his hand against hers. Rose: She gave him an appreciative smile before going up, to use the restroom. Connor: By the time Rose left, the movie was over. He sighed, getting up, making his way to the corridor connecting all the theater rooms. He eventually spotted Rose, leaving the washrooms. Rose: She was just exiting the bathroom when she saw Connor. "Oh did the movie end?" Connor: He nodded, disappointed. "I'll tell you the end-" Before he could finish his sentence, the light in the hall went off. By then, most of the spectators had left, leaving them alone in the dark. "Looks like a power outage." He whispered to her ear. Rose: She groaned. "SERIOUSLY???" Connor: He grinned, taking her hand. "C'mon, it's not that bad." Rose: She smiled. "Alright." She took his hand. Connor: His grin turned into a genuine smile, glad to be with Rose. He starred at her for a few seconds before slowly leaning in, and kissing her lips. Rose: She gasped and then slowly stepped out and gave him a shocked expression before returning the kiss. Connor: He was relieved she returned the kiss, as he wrapped his hands around her waist. Rose: She slowly breathed and smiled deeply at him. "I love you Connor." She muttered under her breathe softly. Connor: She'd finally said the words he'd been waiting to hear for so long. "I love you too." He said, connecting their foreheads. He didn't care if anyone starred. The couple was then interrupted by a Persephone camper... Anne: She was carrying her flashlight and looked through the theatre to see if anybody was still there, her light finally flashed on Rose and Connor making out and she gasped in surprise. Connor: He had gently pushed Rose to the wall, before he even noticed the presence of Anne. Seeing her starring at their intimacy, he slightly stumbled back, deeply blushing at the camper. She must have definitely been someone Rose knew. Rose: She awkwardly fell to the ground from Connor's push but didn't care. "U-Uh A-Anne I-I can e-explain?" Anne: She glared at Connor and Rose. "How inappropriate! And in front of a priestess? Explain yourselves!" Connor: He slightly regained his confidence. "How were we supposed to know you were here?" Anne: She gave Connor a 'Seriously' face. "Of course there had to be someone to see if there were anybody still here?" Connor: "I'd doubt that someone would be a priestess of any sort. Believe me, mortals could do worse." Anne: She scowled. "Still, that was disgusting! I can't believe you Rose! Rose: She tried to explain but stammered. "I-I-" Connor: Seeing that Rose's so-called friend was acting with utter nonsense, he stepped in front of her, defensively. "Look, I don't want to get in the middle of some friendship fight or anything, but last I've heard, Nike was Rose's mother. So I kindly suggest you leave her decisions to be committed by none other than herself." OOC: Saphir is on a quest, so I can't currently RP her. We can begin the RP after the quest ends. OOC: Okay Anne: She just glared at him and walked off, talking nonsense about the dumb male species.
Rose: She sighed. "That's alright, sorry for Anne's behavior." She turned away. "She has issues with males, but if you know her more she's actually quite lovely.. Connor: "I'm sure she is." He murmured. "So, uh..." Rose: She glared at him. "She is!" Connor: "Okay, erm, let's just go with that. What do you wanna do now?" Rose: She still glared at him but her brow was slightly relaxed. "I'm not sure." Connor: He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess I'll accompany you back to your Cabin." Rose: "Fine, I was tired anyways." She said giving him a smile. Connor: He interlocked his hands with hers, as they headed back to Camp. TIMESKIP Rose: They arrived at her cabin and she headed straight for the door and waved bye to him before entering. |
Park[]
Rose: She was in the park dribbling her lucky basketball while trying hard not to think hard of Connor.
Connor: It was lazy a somewhat lazy afternoon when Connor decided to get out of camp for a change. He decided to go to the nearby town's park and take a light stroll.
Rose: She found a small bench and decided to rest. She sat down and dug into her bag, she found her notebook and looked over her unfinished song. No one knew this but Rosetta was a singer and sometimes she would write some songs and sing them for her own entertainment.
Connor: He walked past the bench, not recognizing Rose.
Rose: She didn't see Connor because she was still writting lyrics and was deep into her work.
Connor: He did a double-take, realizing that Rose sat on the bench. Not wanting to distract her, he simply joined her, taking a seat in silence. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw her lyrics.
Rose: She saw someone stare at her and turned to see Connor, furious she blushes red and hides her notebook.
Connor: He blushed as he had seemingly made her uncomfortable by signaling his presence. "Eh... Sorry." He awkwardly apologized. "You sing...?"
Rose: She scowled at him and didn't answer him.
Connor: He didn't get why her tone was so sharp. Was she angered by him? "Why such a bad mood?"
Rose: Glaring at him, she grabbed her notebook and quickly dashed away.
Connor: He stood there, more confused than dazed, watching her leave. Not for long, he thought, as he began running after her pursuit.
Rose: She started running and looked behind her to see Connor.
Connor: He ran after her, trying not to loose her. Her bumped into a few people, not bothering to stop and apologize, as he would loose some time. The things he did because of a girl... He eventually began catching up to her.
Rose: She eventually stopped and spun around to face Connor. "What do you want?" She sighed.
Connor: He briskly stopped running, catching his breath. Never get in a race with a child of Nike. He thought, finally gaining himself. "Why do you always run away?" He asked, almost seeming hurt, but managing a grim expression.
Rose: "Y-You saw my book..." She put a protective hand around her notebook.
Connor: He nodded, "Your lyrics are great. I don't know why you're so worried about me seeing them."
Rose: "A child of Nike should be playing sports not writing deep music like those Apollo kids." She said with a frown.
Connor: "You're not just some random child of Nike." He retorted, unbearing to hear her underestimate herself.
Rose: "Please, all my half-siblings would laugh when they hear that I sing!" She was half-way to tears. "Please don't tell anyone!"
Connor: He reluctantly wrapped his arm around her, seeing that she was about to crack. Physical contact seemed to be the only way he could try to comfort her. "Don't worry, I won't." He promised, his voice whispering into her ear. "But it means anything, you're lovely either way. Talented in every way."
Rose: "Thank you Connor, y-you're the best…" She dug her face into his arm. "Um.. Connor I-think I-I might have e-r feel-" She cut herself short and awkwardly blushed.
Connor: Hearing her words, she gave her a kiss on the cheek, connecting their foreheads. "I love you." Three words. Three words that he had never told to anyone but her.
Rose: "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for those words…" She muttered to him.
Connor: He smiled to himself. "I think I can imagine." He said, hugging her tightly.
Rose: She hugged him also and stared at the sky. "So.. what now?"
Connor: She faced her. "It depends. Will you give me the honor of having the title as your lover?"
Rose: She reached down low and grabbed a long stick off the ground. With her right hand she lightly uses the stick to tap Connor's right shoulder. "The honor is now yours, Lover Connor."
Connor: He chuckled. "Times like these, I wish I could be a horse nymph." He randomly said. "You could take me on... Rides."
Rose: She gave him a strange look. "I happen to know a horse nymph..."
Connor: He plastered a playful grin on his lips. "I bet you wouldn't ride her the same way." He joked, obviously not actually meaning it judging by his tone.
Rose: She rolled her eyes at him. "Oh Connor."
Connor: He sheepishly smiled at her, soon taking both of her hands into his grasp, holding them with delicacy.
Rose: She smiled deeply at him and felt that they were the only ones in the universe.
Connor: "The upside is that now, you won't be having to watch movies on Netflix alone anymore."
Rose: "Yeah." She smiled at him. "We could watch Titanic everyday!"
Connor: He managed a fake, ridiculous grimace as a reaction. "Oh gods."
Rose: She grinned. "So Connor what do you think about Pizza hut?" She pointed to her belly and rubbed it. "I'm so hungry right now!"
Connor: "Uh, sure." He agreed. "But before doing anything, are we a thing...?"
Rose: She kissed him on the cheek. "Well duh!"
Connor: He grinned like an idiot. "Then let's go then."
Pizza Hut[]
Connor: He was sitting at a table for two in the back of the hall, their food resting on the table.
Rose: She slurped her bowl of spagehetti while staring at Connor.
Connor: He took a large bite out of his slice of pizza, noticing her stares, which he deeply returned. "You know," she started saying in attempt to start a conversation, "I hope you won't have any boys around your room anymore." He joked semi-serious, referring to their previous experience.
Rose: "Please.." She giggled. "The only boys who hang around her room are my half-siblings" She twirled her fork in her pasta.
Connor: "Good, I don't want any young men around my girl's bed in the middle of the night." He mimicked the tone of a father, failing, as the outcome looked like a cranky man's voice, but the goal was perceivable.
Rose: She laughed so hard she almost choked on her pasta. "You know you talk just like my father before he died."
Connor: He was unacknowledged of the decease of her father, but decided it would be best not to abort the subject. "I try my best." He said with a sheepish grin.
Rose: She smiled deeply at him while trying not to choke on a piece of pasta and decided to switch to pizza. Chewing her piece daintily she curiously asks. "Say Connor, what was life like at Olympus?"
Connor: He took another bite out of his pizza, chewing it, afterwards shrugging. "There were a lot of... Parties. And nymphs. I met the muses once, but not for long. I mostly stayed on earth though, with the hawks."
