Personality[]
Bridget is a sharped mouthed individual who longs for friends herself but her cold demeanour makes it hard. It is quite uncommon to see Bridget do something irrational and rarely shows how she truly fears, always wearing a poker face so to say. Though as a daughter of Aphrodite she has trouble with emotions and can be seemed as harsh. She is quite competitive sometimes whenever archery is involved and despite her stature she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and will most often fight with logic to get what she wants.
Appearance[]
Asian and thin skinned, with brown curly hair. 4”8 with small freckles and sea green eyes. She also has a two small birthmarks under her left eye as well as a goth sense of style as well as being quite small and has a small chain necklace, including a hellhound pelt she wears around her like a sash.
History[]
Jeremiah (a distant descendant of Hephaestus) was out on a stroll, he had just finished his shift and was on a well deserved break from his company. As he sat down on a bench in a nearby park, he was met by a gorgeous lady. A foreigner with black curly hair, cute blue glasses and a artistic sense of style. *She is so beautiful* the thought ringing in his mind. He could’ve stayed there drooling forever until she surprised him by saying “You want a photo.” Her features seemed to be even more enchanting up close. Her voice was so smooth like silk and butter drying on a pan. Jeremiah responded dumbfounded “Duh, huh?” It was if he was in a trance.
Their connection was instant like true love (yes I said it) but Jeremiah realised his break was over, he asked the young lady if they could meet her again at his next break tomorrow and they did. It went on like this for five months their friendship blossoming they talked about fashion, star signs and all kinds of weird stuff. Until on November 1 they had their first kiss and soon Aphrodite had a baby. Bridget Oprah. This should’ve been a joyous moment for them but as soon as their child’s birth, Aphrodite left and never came back without explanation. JJ was heartbroken for losing the love of his life and that his daughter will never get to meet her mother.
Bridget and JJ moved out of the city because it was too much for JJ to bear living in a city where his only love abandoned him so he moved far away. They moved to the country his great grandfather’s old estate and began living their lives. Bridget still went to school in the city but she never stayed there for long and she never knew why. So to keep her occupied for 8th birthday, he bought her a recurve bow and taught her a skill. A skill passed down from every Oprah and Bridget was a natural her aim never seeming to miss. So now she could protect herself in the wild and it was their bonding time, but once when he forgot to buy her arrows when she was 10.
He thought she was responsible enough to be left alone but half an hour later, he found her at the paws of a hell hound. She was injured and unconscious, before the hellhound could rush to kill her. JJ grabbed the his bronze arrows from the store, took aim and let the arrow fly. Embedding itself into it’s shoulder, it howled in pain then snarled angrily and disappeared. Luckily they had some medical supplies/ guides in the house and Bridget didn’t seem like she needed to go to hospital. So he treated her himself. From that moment JJ became very terrified and protective for her, homeschooling her and never letting her out of her sight. One week later while Bridget was still recovering, JJ got a letter... from Aphrodite.
He broke down in tears and anger and almost ripped up the letter, why would she care about her daughter now? But what she wrote made him stop:
Dear Jeremiah,
My love, I’m sorry to write to you I wish I could’ve been with you. But there are rules that say otherwise, I wish I could tell you what rules but... anyway you have to send Bridget somewhere she’ll be safe. She’s not like other girls she’s special, and I’m not just saying that cuz she’s mine. Well maybe but anyway I can’t tell you why it could break you. You work so hard your already so broken from all the stress of work.
I don’t think you need more. Send her here to this address, before more Hellhounds pick up her scent.

JJ crumpled up the paper in anger and through it in the fireplace. Now she decides to get involved in her daughter’s life. Too late now! And how did she even know his address? He was almost about to blow a fuse before Bridget came down and saw his face. She was in crutches and a head cast. As Bridget looked at her father she saw so much anger in his eyes and was scared for his father, he told her to come here and they cuddled (warily) next to the fireplace and he began to explain little pieces of what he knew.
A year later, the attacks became more recent. Monsters coming from left and right trying to kill his only daughter, sometimes he was attacked alongside her. Sometimes she was by herself so he began teaching her more advanced skills, such as hunting, wildlife skills and of course archery. Hoping that she would be able to protect herself. Whenever there was a monster attack they would move from town to town, country to country. But it never worked until on her 12th birthday while they were on the merry go round, she was met by a Chimera. JJ was getting cotton candy for her before she sneaked off to play one of the arcade games and the chimera attacked. Bridget and the Chimera battled it out, unfortunately she couldn’t bring her bow so all she had was her knife. JJ couldn’t get through the crowd of mortals so all he could do was watch as his daughter was getting killed by this monstrosity.
Eventually Bridget managed to finish her off but not before the Chimera attempting a small bite to her arm when the snake bit her with its venom. Bridget cried in pain and somehow JJ found the power to power through the crowd and attend her wound. JJ was no doctor but he knew she needed a hospital but he didn’t know any near them. Besides JJ knew they wouldn’t know how to deal with a wound like this. His mind was so flustered on soon realised he had no choice if he didn’t act soon his daughter would die. They only place he could think of was.. he knew what to do. It might mean saying goodbye but he wouldn’t stop if it meant that she would die.
JJ asked around asked if Montauk was close by and luckily it was. He got in his car and avoided all speed limits just so he could drop her off at Camp Half-Blood, with the cops right behind his tail he had no time to waste. As they approached the Camp’s entrance he could hear the police hounds trying to find him. Time was running out but luckily he found people coming to help his daughter and so, he did the only thing he could do. And said goodbye to his daughter, but he vowed he would get back to her. Bridget stayed in the infirmary for a few days and the Hermes Hotel for one day before she was claimed as a child of Aphrodite.

1. Children of Aphrodite can create a large plume of dense perfume or make-up which obscures them and begins to suffocate anyone else within it. This can give the user a chance to attack.
2. Children of Aphrodite have the ability to fire razor sharp scallop shells at high speed which can be shot fast enough that they could pierce the skin on impact. The shells would materialize and fire from the user’s palms, so the size of them depends on the user.
Defensive[]
1. Children of Aphrodite can cause people of any gender to lose all desire to attack them for a short time. Out of an artificial love, the love isn’t necessarily romantic and could be like sibling love. If the user attacks while this is in effect, it will automatically wear off.
2. Children of Aphrodite have the ability to entrap an enemy in a large scallop shell, similar to the one their mother emerged from at birth. Once closed, the clam is extremely difficult to escape from. It is highly durable and cannot be teleported out of, after a short time the clam will fade from existence. The target cannot be attacked while they are inside the clam, so the power is purely defensive. It can only be summoned twice in the same fight.

1. Children of Aphrodite can alter their appearance (including clothes and make-up) for short periods of time, the more they alter their appearance, and the longer they maintain the appearance, the more energy it drains.
2. Children of Aphrodite can curse someone to feel like they’re completely hated and unloved, they’ll feel like they’re ugly and will sink into self-pity for a short time. This gives the user a chance to attack or flee.
3. Children of Aphrodite can infuse magic into their words and ‘charm-speak’ another into doing their will or revealing a secret to them; the person will remain under the control of the charm-speak for a few minutes or until control is relinquished, the longer the control is kept.
4. Children of Aphrodite can control the clothing of others, create and transform it at will (not armor). They could turn a girl’s prom dress into a red bikini, create a scarf around someone’s neck and command it to strangle someone etc. Commands and transformations only last for a short time and the target’s clothes revert to normal.

1. Children of Aphrodite have the ability to control the levels of hormones related to love in humans; serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. The user has the ability to increase or decrease each of these hormones separately or all together. Increases in serotonin will make the target go temporarily insane and decreases will make the target become depressed, while increases in dopamine will make the target super sensitive to their surroundings and decreases will stiffen the movements of the target. Increases in norepinephrine will increase the rate of heart contractions of the target and decreases in this hormone can result in severely lowered heart rate. The use of this power can be extremely draining for the user depending on how extreme the alterations of the hormone levels are.

1. Children of Aphrodite have the ability to transform an area into a maze of mirrors for a moderate period of time, as one of their mother’s attributes was a mirror. Whilst in the maze, the user’s target can become disoriented and confused as all they can see is their own appearance, however, the glass is somewhat durable and cannot be broken easily. The user can move about while the maze is in place, and the sight of their own beautiful reflection empowers them a little. They innately know their way through the maze, as they created it, but they cannot change the layout of the maze once it is in place. The size of the maze depends on how large the user would like it; they can range in size up to that of a battle arena, however, the larger it is the more the user is drained. After dismantling the maze, the user is significantly drained and may not be able to move for a moderate period of time.
