Name: Alaina 'Lanie' Grimm
Age: 16 and a quarter as she remembers. Actually 48 in reality.
History: On the March 1963, little Alaina Grimm was born to Rosanna Grimm, a demigod child of Hecate, and the god Aigaios. Soon after the child was born, Aigaios left Rosanna and her daughter in their small apartment near New Orleans. Since the young girl disliked the name Alaina, she decided to call herself as Lanie. Little Lanie had a little talent that her mother discovered when she was growing up, she was always very fond of finding out things and journalism. The young girl always loved hearing stories about her mother's adventures on Camp Half-Blood. When Lanie was 12, Rosanna died of a car crash when she was out buying groceries. The driver of the car that was driven was high on drugs and couldn't control the brakes. With no relatives available or alive at the time, Lanie was forced to join her god-parent Genevieve, who was a star nymph, with the Huntresses of Artemis. At the year of 2008, Lanie did something that immediately took her immortality from the hunt. She fell in love. Lanie was too embarrassed when she got 'kicked out' of the hunt. In fact, she had that urge to leave camp as soon as possible - which, she did. After she left, more like fled, camp, Lanie was sent to dozens of orphanages and was either kicked out or ran away from most of them. Well, she did live in this one house where her foster father named Brady Rane, who was a newspaper journalist, allowed Lanie to be help him with his work. She lived there until her father died of a heart attack. She then went back to her old life to running away or get kicked out from the orphanages.
A couple of years or so after she left the hunt, Lanie woke up in the alley in the middle of nowhere. He had no idea about anything like who she was, where she was, what time it was or what time it was for that matter. For some strange reason, the only thing that she remembered was the age she was at that day, she was only 15. At the time, she remembered that her head was in extreme pain. Then, a girl who seemed to be a few years older than her moved sat next to her. The girl revealed that she was a runaway orphan named Cassandra Jones and he rescued her from being attacked by a bunch of random goons. When she asked about her name, she noticed that she had a press' permit card with the name of Alaina Grimm. She claimed that she preferred to be called as Lanie. And having her memories lost, Cassandra offered Lanie to live with him in an hidden room near the alley. She accepted that offer and stayed there. From there, she met one of Cassandra's true friends and roommates, which was Freddie Hall. The older Lanie grown, the more attached she was to Cassandra and Freddie.
One day, when she was almost 16 if she's not mistaken, Lanie found Cassandra's body covered in blood. She also saw a small harpy leaving the scene, looking somewhat full. Lanie then tried to revive his so-called 'sister's' life but sadly, it failed. Her last words that she said to Lanie was, "Go to Freddie little sister… he can help you from there…". She hesitantly did as she was told and left Cassandra to find Freddie.
Lanie then found Freddie near where they lived. He quickly sensed that Lanie had a 'stormy' aura and suspected that she was a child of Aigaios. Freddie then revealed to himself as a child of Psyche and explained to Lanie everything about the Broken Covenant and how they think of the gods, as he has heard about it several times. Due to her lack of knowledge of what the Greek gods have done to demigods and his already formed hate for her own godly parent, she decided to join the Broken Covenant. She is now awfully convinced that us demigods should join forces with them instead of fighting against them and that her godly parent left her in an unknown area without a single memory in her brain. Freddie then sent her to the Broken Covenant, being the 'big brother' and all, and now Lanie is currently waiting for her approval to what the faction that seemed to fit her, the Ortu Justitae.
Personality: Lanie is a girl who is usually in a rude and cold mood. She is also somewhat pessimistic almost all the time and she is surprisingly very loyal. When she considers you trustworthy, Lanie would open up to you and wouldn't want you to leave her life. She is also very fond of storms and journalism.
- Gods and goddesses
- People who act/are really dumb
- She especially HATES having amnesia in the first place.
Weapons: Twin celestial bronze daggers that Freddie gave her.
Appearance: Lanie has black hair that has a purple streak in it, the only physical reminder of her past for some strange reason, other than her name tag. She also has striking ice blue eyes, an average weight and is 5' 10" in height.
God parent: Aigaios
- Can summon over lightning bolts, but the more or the larger the bolt is, the more power is drained.
- Can summon storm and rain clouds, the same rule applies as the one above.
- Is immune to lightning attacks and is able to breathe under water
- Has minor control over water, lightning, winds and storm clouds.
Faction: Ortu Justitae
Reason for joining faction: Gods have ruled for far too long. They have had their time in power, but now it is our turn to rule. They have cared nothing for us half-bloods and mortals. They are just self-centered, lazy and corrupt people who always let their children to do all their dirty work for them. I personally think that with the combined powers of both half-bloods and mortals, this will be the end of their leadership.
So was she at camp half blood as a huntress or no? And what happened during the years before she woke up in the alley? Like, if Picasso made a person, You'd be his masterpiece. 01:29, March 18, 2012 (UTC)
So she's not a hunter anymore then?
