History: You want to hear my history? Well, I can see why but here it is:
I've spent most of my life traveling with my father looking at rocks(my father was a geologist).i was home schooled by my father as we didn't spend much time in one place,this also made it harder for the monsters to find us and when one did, by some stroke of luck and,at one time a bus, I'd get away alive.
My eighteenth birthday came and went. One day we were up it the mountains and my father found some strange rocks. He'd never seen any thing like them. He took some samples back to our camp to test. That afternoon I went on a walk up a near by hill and as I neared the top I heard the explosion and as I turned around I saw the pillar of smoke rising from the area were our camp had stood moments ago.

"The rocks are exceptionally strange, I've never seen anything like them." there is a scraping sound "It seems the rocks spark heavly when scraped. I wonder what would happen if i slammed to of the pieces together..." a loud sound,an explosion of some-sort follows then silence untill the sound of a person walking. tap ends
I made my way down to what was left of our camp and found my father or what was left of him. At the reading of my father's will I found he'd left me two things,the first was an envelope the second was a wooden box. The envelope contained some money and a letter which told me everything I needed to know about the gods and the location of the camp but i chose not to go i would not become a servent to gods that had done nothing for me, where was my mother when my father died,no I would not go.
In the box were twin short sword's made of stygain iron and a belt which turns into a cheastplate. I decided to go back to the place of my fathers death and this I did. Then chose to walk through the woods. After a while I came upon a camp site in the camp site two people were sitting talking about a group of half-bloods who were against the gods. I walked up to them and asked to join them.
Personality: He is a very serious person and he does not laugh or even smile often. He is not easily swayed from his goals. He is willing to hurt someone if he thinks he will gain something from it. He respects authority or at less what he considers authority at the time and if give an order he will follow it to the best of his abilities.
Weapons:Twin short swords and a belt that turns into a chestplate
Appearance: Shoulder length brown hair and yellow eyes and tanned skin .He wears simple jeans and a shirt.

powers :
He the ability to conjure an inanimate object out of pure shadows; however, only one can be created at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who conjured it. They can also use this power to form other objects as well, at delimited size.
He has the ability to conjure a rope of shadows which are bound around an unsuspecting victim; the ropes remain on the person for a short time before vanishing.
He has the ability to conjure a cloak of pure shadows which will blunt most attacks but slow the movement of the conjurer.
He can bend shadows around them, concealing them for a short time.
He us innately strong during the night.
He can see perfectly in the night as if it were day.
He has the ability to Shadow Travel, a sort of teleportation; the further the distance, the more is energy drained.

Well more importantly than how their parents met, would be who killed the father, as well as the fact, how did she make it to 18 with no monster attacks, I realise Nyx isn't one of the big 3 or even the 12 olympians, but still making it her whole life without a monster attack is highly unlikely. Also, if you want to have her in liberi, you should have some level of distaste towards mortals in general, liberi does not hate them like Opus does, but they are willing to use them as pawns in the war.

Wait why were the demigods fighting the gods, because that is pretty rare thing to happen unless they are in a quest or something? User:Travelg
