Name: Giovanni Buckingham
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Godly Parent: Aphrodite
Mortal Parent: Marco Buckingham
Species: Demigod
Appearance: I have yet to choose an image for Giovanni, however he shall be handsome, and I'm 90% sure his model will be Marco Mengioni.
Personality: I'll put it this way. You wouldn't want to cross him. He is a cranky person at times, and he hates CHB. However, he is also really funny and cocky, so for example if someone said to him, "What's two plus two?" in a joking tone, he'd say, "It's certainly more than you.". He takes this from his father.
History: It was a cool Summer night when his father, Marco was on a beach in Italy, where he lived at the time, when he saw a beautiful woman. This woman also was attracted to him. They were truly in love. So, after 9 months, Giovanni was born. However, soon after, his mother had to leave for a 'work job'. Marco was heartbroken
At age 3, Giovanni and Marco moved to Long Island, USA, because at the time, Marco's mother had died, and they had to go to her funeral. Marco decided to stay in Long Island, USA, due to his love of the place, of it's nature and people.
Growing up in Long Island, Giovanni quite liked the scenery, like his father. He was everything in his school, popular, good looking, smart, musical and sports. He got great grades, and was the top of his class. He was a teachers favourite, because of this.
When he was 11, he and his best friend, Lozano were playing by a beach, due to it being the Summer Holidays. Lozano saw an old barn and dared Giovanni to go into it. Giovanni accepted, however, when Giovanni got closer he saw it wasn't a barn. So, to keep the dare up, he pretended it was a barn, and supposdely, 'went into it'. However, when he went in, he was astounded. There was all sorts of people, and he couldn't believe it, nymphs, satyrs, etc. He thought to himself he had fainted, however, the Leader of the Camp came up to him, and said "Welcome." He was frightened to death, and thought he was kidnapped, however, it was all explained to him. He thought it was amazing. Later that evening, Aphrodite claimed him. The mortals thought he went missing, and was dead, and Giovanni meant to keep it that way, because he much preferred this place to his friends and families because it was very exciting. He could make friends here also.
However, after a while, Giovanni thought that the gods were stuck up people, who couldn't care less for their children. Once, his best friend at camp was at a quest. However, apparently, the gods decided to 'kill him', because he possibly could take over the Gods. This made Giovanni believe that God's should not be in power if they kill a person for a reason as simple as that. He also was furious that his mother never talked to him, and other Gods not talking to their children. One day, a fellow camper of his whispered to him that he was going to the BC, because he didn't agree with the Gods, and invited Giovanni to come with him. This camper already knew where this place was, due to him fighting against them in the past, and saw them. Therfore, he decided to leave and become a member of the Broken Covenant. Also, when he was about 14, his parent, Aphrodite sent him on a quest. She promised she would help him along the way, however, she did not help him. So, he nearly was killed that day. That added to joining the BC.
Weapons: A sword which he nicknamed 'Maxima', after he got it. He called it Maxima because he liked the sound of it, and it meant maximum, and he was prepared to fight to the maximum.
Factor: Veritum Unitem
Reason: He wants to be in Veritum Unitem, because he agrees most with their views, every single view of them. He believes that the Godly Parents should fight their own battles, because the God's should fight their own, because if you want to talk realisticly, they are stronger than the demigods. It's like the demigods are the gods 'pawns'. He wants to take a stand against the gods because of the above, and plus, he believes they should not be in power. He also thought the Gods don't do a single thing for their children, as well as not talking to them. He also thought that the other parts of the BC were not good enough compared to VU. He feels that the VU is right in every way. He feels happy and content in the VU, and has also made a few good friends. He once was on a quest for the VU, and he really did enjoy it. Also, when he was about 14, his parent, Aphrodite sent him on a quest. She promised she would help him along the way, however, she did not help him. So, he nearly was killed that day. That added to joining the BC.

So he accidentally got into camp? Why did he choose to stay and not go back to his friends? How did he find the BC? As for joining Veritum, What made Giovanni think the gods were stuck up? Just his mother not talking to him? What views does he agree with?

Your claim's good, but you still need to add on to your reasoning for him joining Veritum. Just agreeing with the ideals isn't enough. Why exactly does he want to take a stance against the gods? Them not talking to their children can't be the only reason.

But what made him believe that the gods should not be in power? What did they do to him specifically? I don't see anything in his history that would cause him to hate the gods or think they are unsuited to power. Add something into his history that causes Giovanni to really start hating the gods and forming the opinions that eventually lead him to join the covenant

Your reason should express why your character feels the way of the faction's ideology. You basically copied the ideology for VU, that's not enough, your reason is a little vague.

Why does he believe that the Godly Parents should fight their own battles, was he ever used by the gods? Also the last part's is too vague all it says is how he's happy to be in VU and how he thinks it's better, and etc.

Now? Could you suggest on something to add then, and give me an example? Yugimuto1 Talk [[Special:Editcount/ Yugimuto1|Special:Editcount/ Yugimuto1 edits ]] 21:25,4/21/2013
Really your char hasn't been accepted in the faction so he wouldn't have been on any VU missions. Oh and in BC they are called missions. The part: "because the God's should fight their own, because if you want to talk realisticly, they are stronger than the demigods." is basically a repeat of this: "He believes that the Godly Parents should fight their own battles" And putting that the god's are stronger than the demigods isn't needed. Your points are a bit weak they don't really support the ideology of the faction not taking the ideology and using it as your reason.
Yeah we all know he agrees, but why does he agree, had something happened in his life that made him feel that way, for example for one of my chars, I put the reason that he was born in poverty neglected and abandoned by both Ares and my mother. And the gods did nothing hwne he struggled to survive. Ares was never there for him all his life. When the god finally called him up to Olympus, he was just being used as a pawn in which when my work is done he no longer have a use. And then at the forest he was left to die. His only family are those in the Broken Covenant, they are the only ones who truly feel his pain.

That's basically what Giovanni is.

I cannot accept this until you state why Giovanni as a character feels as he does about the Veritum Unitum. While you haven't copied down the VU's ideology word for word, in paraphrasing it, you have done yourself no favors. Anton Atharm doesn't just accept anyone into the fold.
