1.Name: Malum Vas
2.Age: Permanently 20
3.History: Long ago, in ancient Greece, a worshipper by the name of Klusmos Pitho came across a ruined underground shrine of an unknown god. Curious by nature, he decided to explore the ruins further. At its deepest section, Klusmos discovered a god, Phanes, sleeping. Sensing Klusmos, Phanes awoke (More like a semblance of awakening, like Gaea when she was communicating with people in her sleep), and told Klusmos that he was worried about the world, with all the evil beings that could possibly destroy life. How could he protect it if he was asleep in this ruined shrine? Klusmos suggested Phanes make a successor, someone how would carry out Phanes' will.
Phanes agreed to the idea, and choose Klusmos as his successor. Invoking his power into Klusmos, Phanes sent him out into the world to continue as Phanes' agent.
For years Klusmos acted in Phanes stead, protecting humans and wildlife from death when the gods fought the Giants, and then Typhon. As a reward for his actions, he was granted immortality, untouched by age. Unfortunantly, this gift made Klusmos rash and proud, and made him think he could take on anything.
In his hubris, he challenged Erebos to a mighty duel to the death, to destroy darkness forever with Erebos' death. Erebos, amused by Klusmos's pride, agreed. They met on the isle of Delos, and commenced the duel. As powerful as Klusmos was, he was nothing compared the primordial might of Erebos, and was utterly defeated, so bad Thanatos was sent to claim him, for he was about to perish. However Erebos, angry that this upstart challenged him, decided to put Klusmos's fate into his own hands. Defeating Thanatos to claim Klusmos's soul, he sent Klusmos into Tartarus. There, he slowly corrupted Klusmos, turning his soul as dark and evil as his prison.
When Klusmos was fully corrupted, Erebos named him his champion, and in recognition of his new slave, he renamed Klusmos Malum Vas, the Vessel of Evil. As Erebos' champion, the newly named Malum caused chaos, destroying monuments to the gods and killing hundreds of mortals and beasts which he used to protect.
Many gods were worried. Even if they faced Malum, he was much more powerful than before, and this time Erebos would fight to protect his champion. Athena had an idea though. Going to where Phanes slept, she revealed to him of the actions of Malum. Phanes, horrified that Klusmo had gone so wrong, agreed to help stop Malum.
Whispering to Gaea, Phanes promised her that if she captured Malum, she could have him be her slave, in which Gaea agreed. When Malum entered Mount Orthys, intent on making it his base of operations, the giants Thoon, Clytius, and Mimas ambushed him. Though Malum was powerful, and was able to beat Thoon and Mimas, Clytius was finally able to knock Malum into unconsciousness for a few minutes. Quickly, Gaea sucked Malum into the ground, and put him into a deep sleep, intent on only using him as a last resort of her plans were truly trumped, as she knew how rebellious and unpredictable Malum was.
For many, many years Malum slept in the ground, unable to free himself from Gaea's bonds. Until now. Gaea, exasperated and extremely angered at the failures of the giants and her very children, released Malum, uncaring for how much destruction he caused.
Once releashed, in the middle of Virginia, Malum started destroying again, starting with obliterating a small Virginian town. However, once he killed and destroyed the town, he started requestioning his motives. Senselessly destroying would not help him or his goals. Slowly, he began contemplating taking over the gods. It was BC agents that convinced him he could indeed take over the gods, with a little help. He traveled with them to the BC, where he joined Opus Superum.
4.Personality: Cunning and thoroughly evil, he is always thinking of ways to further himself or his plans. He often feigns kindness to get what he wants, but can be forceful as well.
6.Weapons: His sword Mala Vita (Life of Evil), which can absorb and discharge light. However; he is skilled in use of other various weapons as well.
7.Appearance: See picture
8.God parent: Phanes
9.If the god parent has a cabin at camp, you will get their powers from the list there, if the god parent you want doesn't have a cabin at camp you will need to provide of lists you feel are appropriate for a demigod of that god, but faction leaders will have the final say if they are too OP or adequate:
- Powerful Photokinesis
- Powerful Vitakinesis (He can heal any wounds or broken bones that aren't Fatal, and the worse the injury the more energy it takes to heal)
- He can bring the dead back to life, though only for an hour or so, and this act causes extreme exhaustion for Malum. Also the dead in question must have been purely mortal when they were alive.
10.What faction you desire to be a part of to see an overview of each faction, go here, your choices are: Opus Superum, Liberi Superum, Ortu Justitiae, Veritum Unitum or Liberatio Generis. Ultimately to whichever faction you wish to join, it will be up to that faction leader if they choose to accept you:
11.Why should you belong to that faction, what are your core beliefs, why does their ideology suit your personality/beliefs:
I was empowered by Phanes to continue his work. What better way to continue it than to replace these old fools at Olympus with us, a new, stronger, and smarter breed.Oblivion26 23:09, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
