Name: Piotr Vanko
God Parent: Enyo
Mortal Parent: Valadmir Vanko
Appearance: Piotr is heavy built man with scars all over his body from the mercenary job he and his dad had taken. He is ok with anyone looking at his scan, except with the one on his face, as it remain him of his father's death. He has a buzzed cut brown hair which he always shave if it gets long.
Personality: Very verbal, quick-witted and sarcastic, Piotr won't let danger stop his mouth from running. He is often seen cursing loudly over a bad situation or even throwing profanity-laden taunts at his enemies. Piotr also responds harshly to being bossed around and told what to do repeatedly. He is very solitary and selfish personality, trusting only in the power of money. He would anything for some extra money on his pocket.
The life of the Vanko is always about the money. "As long as you can pay me, I am in." was Valadmir's catchphrase. He lived his life as a mercenary as long as he remembered. His mom died before he could meet her, and his dad was Ares, the war god. He hated him to the bones. He was never there for him, even with the monsters attacking him. He thought he would hate all of the gods, until he met his aunt.
He and Enyo met on one of his missions in Iran, where he was hired to kill someone important. Security was tight, so his employer decided to hire him a partner. When he saw who he is going with, he hated it instantly. After that job, Valadmir and Enyo had seen each other in different jobs. Sometimes, as allies, sometimes as enemies, but both respect each other's strength. It was after a while when they tried to enjoy each other's company. It was just for one night, but they knew that they wouldn't forget about it.
He didn't see nor heard about Enyo for a while. It was only for a year when he saw her again, with a baby on her arms. He knew this would happen, but it already happens. There is nothing that he could do about it. He took his son, Piotr, in his old friend's place. He asked his friend to keep watch over him for the times that he would do his work. Being a former merc himself, his friend agreed to take care of his son.
This was Piotr's lifestyle for the past 13 years. He would see his father home every once in a while, where he is told by is father all of his jobs as a merc. Those were also the times where he is trained with everything there is to know about fighting. At the age of 14, he was ready to join his father in his work.
Those were the best five years of his life. They often had some close calls. This is mostly because of the monsters that were attacking them. But, they manage to survive. It was only after that incident where their life went down hill. India, there were ten armed men guarding a rare urn. Their job: Get it and leave. They manage to take it out, but once they were out of the building, they were cornered by five demigods, who were told that they need the urn. A fight started which took the life of his father. Piotr was the only one left standing as he shot the last demigod in the head. He was badly wounded and fainted on the spot.
He woke up, not knowing where he is. He sat up, realizing what happen. His dad was dead. But, why was he still alive? Who took him in? He then notices a man who sat next to him. He told Piotr what happen after he passes out: A group of kids found him and the dead bodies, and called the police immediately. They were sent to the hospital, where he was treated properly. When he got out of the hospital, he went to the morgue to get his dad’s body. There, he took the things that his dad was carrying before he died: his favorite gun, a 909 handgun, and a letter.
On that letter was an address to a place in America. The letter said that Piotr must go to this group when the time is right. He didn’t know why he needs to go here, but finally understood when he found out who wrote it. It was from his mother. Holding his dad’s handgun, he makes his way to America where he would join the Broken Covenant, at least until he could get a real job of his own.
When first got the place, he was told that he was told that he was to choose his faction: A place where he could train and rest. There were so many to choose from, but he notice one thing about it. It is that most of them hate their godly parents or the gods in general. But, his focus was on a faction that talks about fairness between gods and all other creatures. He didn’t hate the gods, but he certainly didn’t like them either. So, he has decided, this would be the faction he would stay in. The faction that respects everyone through Democracy: the Faction of Civitas Popularis.
Weapons: Crossbow, Hunting Knife
The weapon section is for weapons he will be using in battles on the wiki. Not weapons that aren't allowed anyway. And hunting knives aren't primary weapons, they'd be secondary weapons.
Done.. and about his primary weapon, that is his.. it is not like Knives are not allowed to be their primary, it is just not advised.. Besides, he is a master in hand-to-hand combat.. I wasn't even planning to give him a weapon in the first place..
That makes zero sense in roleplay he won't be going up against amateurs, hell that doesn't even make sense in real life. You claiming he's a "master" at hand to hand combat, to the point that he can go against other demigods with powers and with actual primary weapons is called godmodding and severe OP. He's on even ground with demigods, so if he goes up against another demigod with long range weapons or actual primary weapons, he's toast, Or else he should be, I mean no one can kill him without permission, so pretty much just any combat roleplay you do with him will be rubbish and absurd. But hey, have fun with that. >.> You'll have to have another admin continue checking this claim, I'd prefer to have nothing more to do with it.
OH and hand to hand combat is one thing, but pretty sure he can't fight the nemian lion with his hands >.> Remember, demigod, monsters want to eat them >.>
That is why I said "I wasn't even planning.." I was planning that he wasn't suppose to have any melee weapon in the first place, but have a gun, like the handgun his dad left... but since it is not allowed to have guns, I decided to have him use a knife instead and turn the handgun into a momentum for him to keep.. I just added the "master of hand to hand combat" to make up for his lack of good weaponery..
I just want to clear up this misunderstanding..
Oh there's no misunderstanding, I know what you meant, and my point still stands. Your character with a hunting knife won't kill most monsters that are harder than the easy level, period. If you think he can kill a medium level to hard level monster with a hunting knife and good hand to hand combat skills, then your making him too OP for this wiki. Not to mention, most demigods are good at hand to hand combat, AND have actual primary weapons. So you giving him no primary weapon, is technically putting him at a disadvantage to the other demigods, not of course that you would rp him that way, of course you'll just rp him OP like you've written him.
Oh, I wasn't planning to make him go against monsters yet.. I mean, sure it is impossible to fight a Hydra with a knife, but it can kill at least a Dracanae, right? It is small, and easy to carry without having it transform into something and best for nimble and quick attacks.. And, it is not like he would have to stick with a hunting knife forever.. of course I am planning to make him learn how to use other weapons.. I just don't have a weapon that he could try learning at moment.. Having a guy with just a knife doesn't means he is OP.. It just means mine uses a shorter weapon than his enemy.. And, since he is a war god kid, he is better at handling the knife than a normal person.. So, he is just as deadly as normal demigod with a sword..
Awww how adorable, k maybe another admin will actually buy it, have fun. I can't with good conscious and with my 20+ years roleplay experience actually accept or agree, but that doesn't mean another Admin won't so.
All I am saying that there is nothing wrong with a knife as a primary weapon.. It is like all other weapons.. only small.. you don't have to be rude about it..
Please just add a primary weapon. If you don't want to actually use it in a battle that's your porogative but for this claim just add one. Your claim needs to have the desired faction and an explanation for why he wants to join that faction. Also, the claim shouldn't have 3 god choices, just one.
ohh.. thank you for explaining properly.. ok then.. I fixed it already..
Alright so the only issue I see here, apart from a few minor grammatical errors, is the fact that Piotr apparently had to deal with no monsters at all. Generally speaking characters are supposed to get monster attacks around 14 at the latest and he's currently 19, so that means at least 5 years of attacks. If his dad dealt with them by some means, that should be explained.
Oh, I will finish the grammar thing as soon as possible. As for the monster attacks, I did mention it. Right here.
"Those were the best five years of his life. They often had some close calls. This is mostly because of the monsters that were attacking them. But, they manage to survive. "
Though I did alter it a bit so that you guys can understand it for a bit.
