Aashi Bharani

Name: Aashi Bharani

Gender: Female

God Parent:

  • Pandia
  • Nyx
  • Asteria

Mortal Parent: Sendhil Bharani

Current Age: 13

Appearance:

Personality: She is extremely detailed oriented and charismatic, but is often hypocritical of others decisions and actions despite the fact that she might have done something similar. Aashai can come across as very judgmental and irrational to others especially if she is just meeting the person for the first time. She possesses an air of superiority, but often lacks true knowledge and understanding of some predicaments. Although she is outspoken and critical, she is initially shy and calm.

History: Sendhil was originally from India, but moved to Egypt to become an astrophysicist. One night, while he was out stargazing along the Nile River, he encountered a youthful Egyptian woman named Dalila. The woman was beautiful and was adorned with eyes that shined like the white paper moon. Dalila managed to entice Sendhil into having an intimate affair with her. She stayed for four months then abandoned Sendhil without any indication. Five months trenched by before Sendhil heard the screaming of a toddler on the doorstep to his apartment complex. On his porch laid an infant swindled in blankets that shone like moonlight and moved like a sort of occult mist. A note with no signature placed underneath the carriage with the name Aashi written on it.

Sendhil took the child under his protection and care. Aashi grew up in a good disposition and lived a very privileged life. She was, however, diagnosed with signs of ADHD which partially hindered her academic career throughout her life. At the age of seven, she developed a strong inclination toward the arts and began to spin pottery and paint as hobbies. The next year, her father sent her to an institution in Cairo devoted to the visual arts.

During her thirteenth birthday, Aashi was attacked by a harpy. A Persian hunt of Artemis named Sia who was sent on a quest, destroyed the harpy with her spear quickly. She took Aashi back to her hometown of Safaga, Egypt to return to her father (Aashi was placed in a boarding school in Cairo at the time). Sia explained the situation to Sendhil in detail and how Aashi might be a descendant of the Greek gods and goddesses. Sia also urged that Aashi be taken to a haven in America to prevent any further monster attacks from occurring again. Her father permitted her to leave only if she maintained contact with him.

As Aashi and Sia traveled to America, Sia taught Aashi the basic needs for survival and the usage of weaponry. The two became rather close and developed an affectionate relationship with one another. While traveling to through Nigeria, the two saved a runaway village girl named Urbi from a hoard of harpies (it turned out the girl was a demigoddess and later tagged along with Sia and Aashi to Camp Half Blood).

The group encountered many more attacks due to their demigod heritage. One attack happened to be on a ship taking them to the Americas. An empousa who was controlling the crew with charmspeaking attempted to destroy all three of the demigods on board, but she was ultimately defeated easily by Sia who destroyed her with her bow and arrow. Another attack happened at an airport made by two hellhounds. As a result of the battle, Urbi managed to destroy one of the hellhounds and Aashi destroyed the other using chakrams given to her by Sia.

Once the three reached the entrance, Urbi was claimed as a child of Nyx, while Aashi was claimed by (goddess). The huntress stayed for a couple of months teaching both the girls ancient arts of combat and Greek language and customs. After a couple of months, Sia finally left to join the other huntresses in Alaska.

Weapons: Dagger, Hand-to-hand Combat (ancient Egyptian and Indian styles), Archery, Chakrams

30minutes under water would kill her. "Ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" ~~ Float    Joker by NerdXV 02:28, November 30, 2013 (UTC)

Not if she was blacked out. It's called shallow water black out. Assuming the water is cold enough to cause hypothermia, hypothetically this person could survive about 6 hours because the body goes into a sort of stasis due to the cold. However, if this body of water that he/she has fallen into is warm, the person will incur brain damage in about 6 minutes (about the same time that the heart will stop and breathing obviously ceases).

First off, you've mentioned that the monster already arrived when she was 12 and didn't even do anything? I don't think they are patient enough to wait for 3 years, which was when you said the empousa appeared again.

Assuming she'll get claimed by Aphrodite, an olympian, it is very unlikely for her to have reached the age of 15 without even having a single attack.

How did she get to camp? How old was she when she got there? And how old is she now?

I assume, dagger is her main weapon (her real weapon, I mean). In this wiki, daggers are just for secondary weapons and not for main weapons. You'll have to change that, as well.

The only reason the monster waited that long was because Hecate ordered her back to the Underworld to wait it out.

I changed the age to fourteen when she attacked.

And she got to came by the satyr's transportation. He apparently already had a car in hand (probably stole it).

hmm why the hell would hecate send the empousai to kill her? i know empousai sorta work for hecate, but she wouldn't give a crap if one of Aphro's one and a thousand kids was a good charmspeaker (a power she wouldn't have till 3 months of being at camp, correct me if i'm wrong i don't have an aphro kid) and satyrs don't normally slay monsters, they just distract em and get the demigod to safety

Idk I just thought it would be a good edition to put in there. Maybe Hecate could be testing to see her powers or potential. And in all my other claims (which were deleted because I was gone for so long) the satyr's kill the monsters. It must be a personal preference thing. --Junebugg666 (talk) 04:02, November 30, 2013 (UTC)

what no? >.< satyrs tend NOT to do any monster slaying and hecate wouldn't endanger a demigod for a lousy reason like that >.<

I didn't even in my history that Hecate was apart of anything I was just a suggestion I was making. And besides, a daughter of Aphrodite would never defeat a monster by herself anyways not unless they are Piper from the series (who even finds herself to be completely useless despite the fact that she is clearly a baller). --Junebugg666 (talk) 04:33, November 30, 2013 (UTC)

but you did say hecate as involved and yeah you're right, that why the satyr would summon some vines, constrict the empousai and run away with her. and yeah piper's okay, but they'd be so screwed without Leo :P

Yeah I deleted the Hecate thing, so that's fixed. Is it okay to get claimed now? --Junebugg666 (talk) 12:34, November 30, 2013 (UTC)

After Urbi joined the group, did they encounter any monsters? It's quite unideal to have a small group of 3 demigods walking around and not be spotted or smelled out by any monster, no matter how weak. Then, regarding the girl, Urbi, do you have any intention of having someone rp her/create her? If not, what happened to her? It just seems illogical to me that a friend of hers would reach Camp but would not be able to interact at all with anyone.

Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

They did encounter some more monsters on their way to camp. One attack was on a ship and the other was at an airport and in a plane stationed on the ground. And I was intending to create Urbi and Sia after I'm done with Aashi. --Junebugg666 (talk) 13:27, December 1, 2013 (UTC)
