Appearance:
She has average length, dark hair, with a certain amount of messiness to it on most days. She often wears quite a lot of make-up, as because of her school experience, she is afraid that she may be rejected if she doesn't, and it was apparently what everyone did. She has golden eyes, that seemingly emit a calming aura.
Personality:
Amethyst is very open and easy to befriend. She is that hand on your shoulder when it is needed, that supportive voice cheering you on. She loves to help others whenever she can, whether it's encouraging them or being with them in hard times. She is hard to aggravate; but when you do, she flies into this massive rage and yells at you till her voice is gone.
History:
Amethyst Elise Swan was born in 1994 to James Swan and Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate. She was very small, having been born prematurely, and was even tested for potentially fatal diseases, just in case. She had never been told how her parents met, but then she wouldn't have understood, and even if she had been older, she would have found it hard to take such a fact in without bursting into tears. As a father would be, James was very proud. Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate looked fondly down at her tiny daughter- but the fact remained that James didn't know who Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate was in reality, and thought her to be a young woman named Millie Firenze.
"I'm afraid your baby might die, Millie." said a nurse gently. "We're doing everything we can, and she's still too weak." Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate raised a trembling hand to stroke the long blonde hair of her daughter, who proceeded to wail. "Please don't die." she murmured hoarsely, her face drained of all colour. Then a strength seemed to get through to the baby,and the wailing ceased. Then "Millie" got up, and took the baby with her without a word. "I name her Amethyst Elise Swan." she said as she left.
Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate had managed to get a small apartment, with a small Moses basket in which she placed the baby Amethyst, who was sleeping soundly. Then she picked up the Moses basket and took it to James' place. She wrote a quick note and attached it to the basket. It read, in neat, cursive writing:
This is our child, James. I have been called to work, and I'll probably never see you again. I'll never forget you. But, I'm Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate, a Greek goddess. I hope this doesn't give you too much of a shock. Beside it lay a big purple parcel, with another note.
Send her to Camp Half Blood when the time comes. The items within this box will help her.

James stared in shock and nodded. Baby Amethyst was attacked at the age of six by a snarling hell hound that looked like a cute Labrador puppy. A satyr interfered and told young Amethyst to be careful. Once she was about to leave primary school, she was attacked again, this time by a harpy. She was escorted to camp via car by another satyr, who was murdered by a hellhound after escorting her.
She opened the parcel. She found a silver shield, a sword, and a dagger for closer combat. She murmured "Thanks, Mother..." to the skies. She was then claimed by Harmonia/Nyx/Hecate.
