Appearance: Ariana has striking blonde hair, which she wears in two French plaits or a fishtail braid when she has time, or a scruffy high ponytail if she's in a rush. Whichever way she does her hair she is beautiful and very eye-catching, but does not realise it. Her cool grey eyes are standard to the daughter's of Athena, and suit her very well. She is very athletic, which is reflected in her build, and often wears a casual, pretty t-shirt with shorts or jeans depending on the weather. Very rarely is she seen in a dress! (Can I use Quisha Rose as a model?)
Personality: Ariana is highly intelligent and loves to read, but is also athletic and obsessed with netball, archery and high-jump. She runs twice a week (around other training) faithfully, having a particular interest in cross-country. She is neither a tomboy or a girly-girl, having friends of both genders. Also, she is very stubborn and has a fiery temper, but can be quite shy. Generally, she is very friendly and popular.
History: Ross met Athena at a chess competition, and they were competing in the grand final!!! Athena beat Ross (duh) but it was very close. This got the two of them talking, and they kept in touch for a week or so. After those deep phone conversations, they arranged a meeting and things got more serious. She was beautiful, he was in love and the feelings were not unrequited. Of course, children of Athena are not born in the normal way, so Ariana came about through the mind. As soon as Athena realized this, she told Ross details needed and then ran away, leaving him with a parting gift of a silver pendant, saying she will not see him again and was truly sorry.
Ariana grew up normally, however she always knew there was something different about her. She was never bullied because it was not obvious, however her friends kept her at an arm's length. Her differences became clear as some Stymphalian birds attacked her at the age of thirteen (at home). She was attacked quite late because of the strategically placed area she grew up in, with many scents obscuring her. Luckily, her Dad knew how to deal with them, and "dropped" some pots and pans, thus resulting in them becoming very disorientated and flying in the wrong direction.
A few months later, a new boy turned up at school and soon became very close to her. In fact, he would go as far as to walk her home, ensuring she was safe. When she was eight her Dad gave her the silver pendant, with strict instructions that she would never take it off. This came in handy when she was walking home from school (with Alex the satyr) and a harpy attacked. She was fourteen at the time, having gone a year since her previous encounter with monsters. The pendant started to glow in pulses, and she tore it off from around her neck. Instantly, it transformed into a hunting bow with a quiver of arrows.Unbeknownst to her the arrows were made of celestial bronze, and while this did not affect her method of attack it granted Alex some relief. Hands shaking, she took a few failed shots, before finally making the shot into the heart of the harpy, while Alex continued to fight it. It died mainly by that one shot (it was already weak), which is why Ariana favours the bow.
Petrified, she ran to her house and her Dad skillfully translated some mumbled nonsense, grabbed Ariana and Alex and drove to Camp Half-blood at illegal speeds. He could see through the mist, so knew when he was there, but Alex also knew the way. After some hurried and heartbreaking goodbyes, Ariana abandoned her normal life forever. She was fourteen when she arrived but turned fifteen two days after. She has been at camp for five days.
Alex explained that he did not take her sooner because he could see she was close to her Dad so didn't want to separate them until absolutely necessary. He had grown to like her (as a friend), so restrained from hurting her feelings despite his strict orders and job. He believed mortal relationships were strained enough already, and didn't wish to completely ruin hers as will probably happen as she engages in camp activities. Having seen his fair share of demigod-parent relationships, he could see hers was special and they truly loved each other. He didn't just talk to her Dad because it was not her Dad's wishes; it was his. As mentioned above, he had grown to like her so allowed her to enjoy normal life for a little while longer, and especially her family and friends. This may seem stupid-he should value her safety more than her happiness- but Alex knew what it was like and couldn't bear hurting her that much without it being imperative.
Weapons: Ariana has a bow and arrow, which transforms into a silver pendant, and a celestial bronze dagger. She despises swords so will fight with one only if necessary, but is skillful enough with other weapons that it doesn't matter.

- Please expand on the demigods early childhood. Things like when she started school, was she bullied or not as she grew older. Things that lead up to why she acts the way she acts.
- Could you kindly specify which age Ariana was attack by the harpy? Just for clarifications sake.
- Also please specify when ariana reached camp. At the top of the claim you state she is 15 but, what age did she get to camp? Please remember that there is a two week rule where an unclaimed demigod can have only been at camp for a maximum of two weeks.
- Only one Arrow was shot at the harpy? and it hit dead on? In my experience, not many untrained people can fire a bow and hit their target with just one arrow. Yes, maybe with a bit of luck the person could hit a non-moving abject but i find it a bit unrealistic for her to hit the harpy with one arrow, Especially since it would be moving around a lot.
For now thats all i see. i would need a bit of clarification about ages before commenting anything else.

- I would suggest maybe taking out the first monster attack with the bird or maybe make them at age 13 instead? I suggest this because after the first monster attack, and the child gets some knowledge of who they are, their scent becomes strong and hard to hide. So, i feel it would be easier to maybe bump the age to 13 (which is an acceptable age for a first monster attack) instead of haveing it at 11 and needing to add more attack at 12 & 13
- i assume the boy that is with ariana is a saytr? If so, then why didn't he tell her about her heritage and then take her to camp. A sayr's main job is to find demigods and bring them to camp as soon as possible, usually not wasting any time as there are many demigods in the world to find. Of course there are ways around this, like saying the saytr elt bad and decided to let her enjoy the real world for a while longer.
- Please specify that her arrows are made of Celestial Bronze as that is the only metal that can kill any monsters

Okay . . . so why didn't the satyr just talk to her dad in order for it to be clear to him that Ariana should immediately be in Camp?
