Appearance: Axel has shaggy brown hair that goes over his eyes a bit, piercing grey eyes, wears a grin that usually unerves people. His eyebrows are thin and coffee-brownish, for raising (like his mom, Athena). He mostly wears black, white or grey T-shirts, ripped jeans, or something along these lines.
Personality: Axel loves being the noisiest and funniest thing in his enviroment. But with those cold, calculating eyes he may seem like he's assessing how to kill you. He's smart like his mother, but he acts goofy a lot. He believes not everything needs to be too serious, as long as there's something funny wrapped up in there.
History:
Michael Hemingway was a novelist, working for his latest book in New York. Athena immediately laid eyes on him after seeing how intelligent Michael was. Posing as a publisher, Athena made sure that Michael would come to her "publisher" and "sell his book for big bucks". Michael of course came, and while the editor checked his work, Athena already saw how smart Michael was.
A few hours later, Athena's son fell out of her head. Michael was thinking of the same thing as Athena was, so BOOM Axel Hemingway was "born" into existence. Michael was like "what the heck" but then the Mist clouded over him. Athena hadn't wasted a second to tell him her real identity afterwards, and she had already delayed her godly duties for a day and that was't acceptable. She told him to take Axel to Camp Half-Blood when he grew of age. Michael glady took Axel and raised him pretty well after that.
Axel grew up to be a strong young man, taught of the old Greek myths, because Michael wanted him to know as much as he could, before he needed to send Axel out. By then, a terrible diease had slowly started to take over Michael, and most of the time he lay sick in bed, unable to see his fablous son, who was making straight As without acknowledging it much.
Axel was a loved boy in his school-by his fellow peers, teachers and even the kindergarteners. But it was time when something came after him for his demigod life.
His first monster attack came three days before going to camp. He found himself with some blackish horses in the forest near his school. Axel glanced at the horses' eyes..and they were glowing red. Stumbling back, Axel sprinted as quick as he could while he ran down his mental list of Greek monsters (because they looked like some kinds of Greek monsters, so) and what struck him was fire-breathing horses. He cursed under his breath-because he didn't have any long ranged weapons or see any pits/cliffs-so he kept running. He was running towards a river, but he didn't notice-either did his persuers, who were just hoping for some free demigod lunch. The horses were almost catching up...Then the river exploded.
A bow and a quiver of arrows bobbed up to the surface of the river. A murky face appeared underwater. She seemed to be saying Take it. Defeat the monster. Use your wits. It disappeared.
Axel, burning with shame and anger that the horses almost ran him over, snatched up the bow. He suddenly caught movement in the trees. A human shape...but there were-wait, what??-horns on the creature's head. Axel would've yelled and ran even faster, but his instincts told him not to and approach the weird creature.
"Hey, dude." Axel waved. The goat-boy jumped back in terror. "What-I-Oh." The boy scratched his head. "Uh, this is like really urgent, so quick introductions. I'm Trevor, a satyr. I know you're Axel, though. Now, come on!" Trevor grabbed Axel's wrist and pulled him along with himself.
"Taunt them. They're reckless creatures, will do anything for food." Trevor and Axel were both trembling behind some trees. Axel's knees kept knocking together, but he nodded. "Can you go through the plan, one last time, in case I forget and die brutally out there?" The satyr sighed. "Fine."
'HEY! YOU BIG, FAT, UGLY HORSES!" Axel yelled. "I BET YOUR BREATH IS SO STINKY NOBODY LIKES YOU! EVEN YOUR HORSE 'FRIENDS'! BECAUSE YOU'RE BIG FAT UGLY STINKY HORSES!!" Axel knew he was taking a risk, but whatever. And his insults were kinda bad, but was his life or his manners. The horses snorted and breathed out plumes of smoke and fire. Axel tried not to scream like a little girl. "YOU WANT THIS DEMIGOD LUNCH?? TAKE IT!!" He ran towards Trevor, according to plan.
Trevor let loose a scream and drew the bow back and shot. He shot again, and again, until every horse was down. Axel gave him an approving look. "Great job, man. The plan was so stupid I thought it wouldn't work." Trevor nodded. "Yeah..well, we have to go to Camp Half-Blood now, though."
Axel came home and tried to explain the event and that he was moving away to his sick father. His father had not much life left to live, but he wanted to know in his final moments that his son was safe and happy, so he agreed. The last image of Axel's father was him, finally up and smiling, sitting on the edge of his bed, waving as Axel closed the door and left for Camp Half-Blood.
Axel never realized or thought that his mother was Athena because he always had self-doubt and he thought he wasn't that smart. But right there, at the campfire, a grey owl burned brightly over his head. Athena had claimed him.
Weapons: CB dagger he found in the toolshed and his wits.

- Unfortunately, Athena is strictly a virgin goddess (no exceptions, sorry), so she won't ever conceive her children through sexual intercourse or give birth through pregnancy. Instead, when she forms an intellectual connection and bond with a mortal, the demigod child falls out of her head.
- Assuming that Axel went to camp when he was 15, it would be too late for him to have his first monster attack. A child of a non-big-three god should have their first attack sometime between the ages of 10 and 13. 14 is also acceptable if a good reason for why they were not attacked earlier is given.
No problem, I get that most of the people here are inactive as well :p As to Athena not getting anything gross stuff with males, I totally forgot... I changed that, hopefully it won't be too long before the claim works out :D

There are two more small details about Athena that I'd like to touch upon before approving your claim.
- Athena doesn't do romance and doesn't ever desire to fall in love. She is only drawn to a mortal's intellect and doesn't have romantic interest in them.
- The child falls out of her head at the exact moment when Athena's mind and the mortal's mind unify intellectually, so Athena is able to skip the whole delivery of the child since the mortal would also have to be present in that moment.
i had no idea being an Athena child would be so complicated.. (lol) anyway i changed that too but it kinda seems unnatural :p

Athena being an extra binch lowkey makes my life more difficult tbh, but I honestly still stan.
This claim has been approved as a son of Athena. You now need to make a page for them and a word bubble, if you aren't sure how to do this you can see the guide here.
