Personality: You might think Dominique’s quiet, shy and reserved but actually, she’s not. She’s a wild and pretty girl who loves to ride horses, go bird watching and boating. She enjoys spicy food and sweets. Because her mother is Cybele, she loves nature and everything about it. She loves trekking with her half-sister, Khyle. She keeps many pets and has 3 dogs, 4 parrots and three hamsters which she left to be taken care of by Khyle. She doesn’t know her father much since he’s always busy and prefers her step mother more. She’s not really close to her other half-sister, Louise.
History:
Felipe Mendez was a rich businessman from Manila. He had a company known for making eco products and that attracted Cybele to him. Under the name Marie Bruiller, a Frenchwoman who supposedly wanted to interview him about his company, Cybele started flirting with him. Felipe was enchanted with Cybele and wanted to meet her again. They decided to meet over coffee again the following day. A few weeks later, after many dates, Felipe and Cybele started dating.
Two months later, Felipe and Cybele decided to go out to a bar and soon got drunk and did the inevitable. The following day, Cybele explained the truth to Felipe and he believed it after some persuasion. A week later, Cybele disappeared. Felipe grew depressed about it and rarely showed up at his office until his sister; Dominique managed to persuade him to return to work. Soon, Felipe returned to his usual self; rude, mean and cold. He was even worse after Cybele disappeared and fired approximately seven people in nine months.
On June 27, 1996, Felipe’s housekeeper, Miriam brought a cradle to Felipe, saying that she found it outside of the house and it had a letter addressed to him. The letter said:
Dear Felipe,’
This is our daughter, Dominique Bernadette, I have explained everything to you and that she needs to get to a special camp for the likes of her. Take care of Dominique well.

Felipe placed Dominique in the care of their housekeeper and she was raised without knowing her father very much. When she was two years old, her dad met another goddess, Limos. Limos didn’t like Dominique at all but she kept herself from harming her because she might incur the wrath of Cybele. Limos and Felipe had a daughter, Louise, but before Louise was born, she left suddenly with no notice. Felipe decided to place Louise with his sister, Bernadette, since he thought Limos deserted him.
Dominique was four years old when she was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Her doctor, Dinah Carpatio, was a beautiful young woman and Felipe fell in love with her. They soon got married and a year later, Dinah gave birth to a baby girl named Khyle.
Dominique enjoyed having a baby sister. She referred to Louise, her other half-sister as her cousin, which her father encouraged her to say. Dominique fairly had a normal life growing up. She had many good friends and her sister, Khyle was one of her best friends despite the age. They would always play and go on outings together, but one thing Dominique wanted was to be more close to her father. Sure, Dinah gave her wonderful attention but she wanted to be more close to her dad.
When Dominique was twelve, the family migrated to New York City along with her aunt and supposed “cousin”. Dominique liked her new life in New York and made many good friends. She and Khyle always explored around New York.
One day, Dominique went out of the house alone, Khyle was sick so she couldn’t go out. Dominique decided to go to Central Park, but when she got there she was attacked by a hellhound. A few half-bloods who were returning from quest saved her and explained everything to her. She thought that they were crazy and ran away from them. She didn’t tell anyone since she thought her dad would get mad if she told him.
Dominique didn’t have another monster attack until the following year. She was again attacked by a hellhound but someone pierced the hellhound in the heart, who the person was she didn’t know. The only one she told about it was her sister, Khyle. When Dominique was fourteen, she and Louise were outside talking while Khyle was at a fair with their parents. They were attacked by a harpy while Dominique was showing her the necklace she was given by her unknown mother. She was very surprised when she saw the harpy so she dropped the necklace and it turned into a sword. She did the sanest thing she could do; she swung the sword, aiming for the harpy. The harpy got caught in surprise and didn’t get a chance to react and was disintegrated.
She and Louise were shocked about the incident but they vowed to keep it quiet. The following year, Dominique turned fifteen; she and Louise decided to tell Felipe about the happenings. Felipe revealed everything and said he suspected that Louise was also a half-blood. But he didn’t want both girls to go to Camp, so they stayed. Another year passed, Louise tried being close to Dominique but it seemed to be that Dominique didn’t want to. The three girls, Dominique, Louise and Khyle were taking a walk when another harpy attacked them. Dominique got her sword and hit it in the leg, disintegrating it.
Just then, a group of girls appeared, the leader was a young girl. The girl, Artemis, told them everything and said that she will take them to Camp but if they wanted to, they could join the Hunt. Louise said that they needed to tell their family first so they went back to Dominique’s house and finally, Felipe agreed to let them go. Louise decided to become a Hunter and said the pledge but Dominique wanted a normal life so she didn’t join.
The journey to Camp was peaceful, no monsters and finally they arrived at Camp.
