Name: Genevieve Navoitheia

Gender: Female

God Parent: Pandia, Cybele,or Harmonia

Current Age: 17

Mortal Parent: Anthony Navoitheia

Appearance: Here's what she looks like.

Personality: A wise girl who has been through and seen a lot in life. She often tries to help others with personal issues due to her empathy, but sometimes this can backfire and result in her being hurt emotionally.

Gen's fatal flaw is that she holds grudges and is unable to radically accept the past, a dilemma that leads her to feel emotionally drained and full-on depressed, which is the foundation of her avidity to help others. Feeling that if she can't even help herself, Gen figures the least she can do is try and better someone else.

Without her depression, she has a vivacious and sunny personality complemented by a great sense of humor and an ambition to live life to the fullest.

History: Gen was born in Sleepy Hallow, New York to her parents- her goddess mother, and Mr. Anthony Navoitheia, a journalist from NYC. They met when her father was working a late shift at work, and he went out on a fifteen minute coffee break at a Dunkin Donut's. He came in, a stumbling mess, not wanting to be late to return to work, and she bought him a coffee.

Over the course of a year, the goddess gained his trust and decided he was mentally strong enough to hear about the godly realm, including Camp Half-Blood and the people who lived there, eventually telling him the truth.

Her godly parent mother left when Gen was but barely a year old, leaving her in the hands of her then-twenty-eight year old father. He raised her well, teaching her all about her mixed culture (Cuban, Greek, American) from an early age.

When questioned about the disappearance of his daughter's mother, Anthony's response was that she had died in childbirth. Photos of her mother littered the house, and Gen spent many a midday gazing at them, building up an impression of her mother.

At ten years old, Gen was introduced to her new step-mother, a mortal woman named Maya. While Maya was sweet and uplifting in demigod's, Gen felt that Maya could never live up to the vision she had created of her true mother. It was a full on struggle for years, with many arguments between the two.

Two years after the marriage of Anthony and Maya, the Speight family welcomed baby Viva to their household. Gen soon found that having an adorable baby sister toddle around the house made existence less of a burden.

As a daughter of a very minor goddess, monster attacks were almost non-existent. This coupled with the fact she was unaware of her parentage, Gen was protected from the reality of her situation.

At thirteen years old, Gen discovered the truth when she was claimed. It was spectacular and mind-boggling; the misty hologram symbol of (whatever goddess is picked for her parent), hovering inches above her head. When she came to the conclusion that she was going insane, Anthony was forced to face the facts and explain to his daughter her heritage, resulting in her feeling a tidal wave of mixed negative emotions.

Soon afterwards, he reluctantly took her to Camp Half-Blood upon the request of Alexander, the camp director, where she struggled to adjust to demigod life and was sometimes bullied by other campers for being over emotional. Eventually, she began to fit in and found her nitch among the campers of Harmonia, who shared many of her morals and opinions. Since then, she has become a much stronger person, though she still struggles with depression.

Gen holds a grudge against her father and doesn't quite trust him, but she tries to understand that he was lying for her own sake, and despite the things she's said about him, she loves him very dearly.

Possessions/Weapons: An unnamed dagger and a security item she's had since she was a toddler- a stuffed lamb plushie.

How old was she when she reached camp? And sorry, Epione doesn't have a cabin here.

You can only chase butterflies for so long.Ani butterfly

I implied that she's taken to camp at thirteen, and it's okay. Harmonia would be alright. --TheMediator (talk) 13:57, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

There is a list of gods with cabins at camp on the claiming page. Please pick three of those.Joker by NerdXV Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? -The Joker 03:00, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

I changed the gods; I would prefer Pandia, but Cybele and Harmonia would be great too. --TheMediator (talk) 13:57, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

I made it so that Pandia is your first choice (as you said you preferred Pandia). Chiron is no longer at Camp. Our new Camp Director is now Alexander the Great. Kindly add how her parents met. How did Anthony know about her (Gen) being a demigod? Did the goddess tell him? Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

Fixed it. --TheMediator (talk) 18:59, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

How did his dad know camp? There is a crime, but no criminal. ★❣Broken❣★Jap32 First of all, my character is a female...second, I'm sure it's pretty self-explanatory. If Gen's mother told her father about the godly realm, it can be inferred that she told him about camp as well, though I added it in. Thank you. --TheMediator (talk) 17:08, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

Once the page has been made, kindly add her name to the Cabin list and her pic to the cabin photo album.
