History:
James Carter and Athena met when he was studying Zoology at UMASS. He found her very kind, and well put together. He plucked up the courage to talk to her one day after class, and Athena enjoyed his caring and his knowledge on animals, James found owls fascinating. They talked until midnight sometimes while Athena helped James study for his exams, and James babbled on about random animal facts when he got slightly nervous from time to time. Athena found it cute. They walked around Boston, going to museums and looking at Architecture. James enjoyed every minute of it. Athena loved him very much. They had the same goals, the same ideas, and helped eachother out. When Athena revealed her identity, James was slightly dumbfounded. How did he not notice? He wasn't mad at Athena, and accepted her for who she was. He let the reality sink in that the Greek Gods were real, and it made them alot closer than they already were. They spent more time together, James reading a few books from time to time about the Greeks.
Athena noticed their minds were united, and Gwenyth was created on January 28th, 2003. Athena sent the child to James's home in Toronto, leaving a pipe made out of CB in the backyard. James took the child in, and protected her with all his might; He had the Sight, which was an advantage. Athena left a letter on Gwen; it talked about camp, how Gwenyth is a demigod, the monsters she could encounter, etc.
He decided to homeschool her, because of her dyslexia and her ADHD, to make it easier for her. Gwenyth loved animals, and had a dog named Cinnamon. One day on Halloween, her dad dressed him up as a spider and Gwen nearly had a heart attack, but she didn't, and James had to hold his daughter to calm her down for nearly three hours, she was four. She loved animals just like her father, and loved to learn even though it was difficult. She read with major difficulty, but still enjoyed it. Gwenyth loved to climb, and took rock climbing classes, being a quick thinker and a very athletic girl, she loved it.
One day, when she was walking home from class when she was 12, she had an enounter with a Stymphalian Bird , all she can do is run. It nipped at her ankles, but she was fast. Her dad came as quick as he could from his office, just as the Stymphalian Bird ran through the house . He quickly hid Gwenyth in the backyard, and distracted the monster, banging pots and pans. Gwen was horrified. She couldn't just leave her father to fight that... thing. It looked venomous. The Stymphalian Bird went through the doggy door (you know with the translucent flap, I mean they're the size of pigeon.) which Gwen forgot to lock, and she was left face to face with it. She took an old pipe to defend herself, and it turned into a CB sword.The sword killed the Stymphalian Bird and it turned to dust.
Her dad didn't know what to do, his daughter was in danger and a satyr was nowhere to be seen to take her to Camp Half-Blood; they were so far away from Long Island. Someone would tell her eventually, he wasn't in the position to tell her right now. Gwenyth knew her father was keeping a secret, she tried to get it out of him alomst every day. But life continued, until a satyr came named Corra, and took her to CHB when she was thirteen.
She got claimed during a training session with the rest of the Hermes cabin, when she rang the bell at the top of the wall, a silver owl dancing over her head, after winning a race over a Poseidon kid. She was estatic, she finally knew who her mom was, and went to Cabin Six with her half-brothers and half-sisters for the first time. This was about ten days after arriving.

- So, if she has a stepsister, does that mean James married another girl? Please state so.
- I know basilisks are mentioned in the books, but the wiki has set monsters that will be used in claims and in everything else. Please choose here if you'd like to change :)
- How long has she been in Camp after arrival? The wiki has a two-week rule in where an unclaimed demigod can only stay in camp two weeks max prior to being claimed.
- About her weapon, was the pipe something that can transform into a CB sword? Since your Weapons claim stated it, I assumed it is what I think it is. Just please state it so.
- Monsters may not harm mortals, but once they're getting in the way to their prey, they could certainly kill them.
- You don't need 3 choicesfor who the god parent may be. Just pick one of your final choice :)

- It looks like there are still traces of the 'basiliks' :)
- I don't think a Stymphalian bird would go in to something closed, especially when it's getting disoriented. (Though you're free to argue so.)
- Also, please state how her dad knew about Camp Half-Blood. Please state too that he has the Sight as he can see the monsters for what they really are.
