Name: Jacquie Henry
God Parent: 1.Ares 2.Hermes 3.Deimos
Current Age: 13
Mortal Parent: Serena HenryAppearance: Sweet looking, brown hair and eyes.
Personality: Jacquie is sassy and rude when you meet her, but can be really sweet when you get to know her. Jacquie doesn't let anyone mess with her, she likes to be in charge. However, she loves parties, and she and her friends party a lot. Jacquie likes to use her innocent looks to manipulate people into thinking she's just a sweet little girl, and then she uses her strength to overpower them. That is her greatest weapon when she is fighting other people or demigods.
History: Jacquie's mother Serena was just like Jacquie, a sassy, no nonsense kind of person. She met Jacquie's father in a bar, hooked up with him once, and never thought about it again, until she found out she was having a kid. Serena tried to find the father, but she had no idea how to track him down, so she had to resort to try to raise Jacquie by herself. The day Jacquie was born, Serena got a letter from the guy, Ares, about who he was and who Jacquie was and would become. She tried to get in contact with him about it, but she didn't receive a word.
Jacquie was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 4 and dyslexia at the age of 6, however Serena still enrolled her in private schools in New York City for kindergarden, hoping the crowds would help keep the monsters from hurting her daughter. Jacquie started off having difficulties reading and writing when she was around 5 or 6, but she always excelled at PE and other sports. Serena was very nurturing and protective of Jacquie until she was about 9. She figured a monster would have attacked Jacquie already if they were going to and ignored the entire demigod concept. Jacquie grew up to be brave and strong, and she was very popular, outgoing, and athletic, especially through her years in middle school. Serena intended for Jacquie to be raised as far away from any of the demigod business as possible, and that she could focus on her having a normal life, so Serena spoiled her and gave her fancy clothing, technology, and whatever else she wanted, because she wanted Jacquie to have the life everyone around her had. Jacquie didn't want to stand out, she didn't want to be different, so Serena let her think she wasn't, and that she was just the same as everyone else.
At 12, Jacquie was a straight A student and a varsity athlete, but she always felt that something was different about her, though she tried to hide it. She found herself recognizing Greek very quickly when she picked it up in 8th grade, but she struggled with Latin, English, and Spanish, which she had been taking since she was 8. Serena worked constantly, so Jacquie was often on her own. Jacquie partied a lot with her friends, starting at 12, and even though she and her friends didn't drink or do drugs, Serena still started to worry about her, so she sent her to rehab. When that didn't stop her from partying, even though there was no alcohol involved, Serena finally told Jacquie what she was when she was 13.
Jacquie did not take the news very well. She ran away, tried to get sent off to boarding school and even rehab. She thought she was just a freak of nature, and Jacquie hated being different. Serena finally tried to convince Jacquie she was just a regular girl with a different (godly) father. Jacquie ran away to their house in the Hamptons, because she just couldn't take all of her mom's pleading when a hellhound attacked her. Jacquie had no clue what to do, but then one of them just dropped dead, and she saw a sword in its back. A group of people had come to her rescue, but she had no clue who they were. They told her to follow them, but she refused, as she didn't know them. They introduced themselves as Jenny, Spencer, and Jack, and they brought her (well, practically dragged her, as she still refused to go) to Camp Half-Blood. They didn't meet many monsters on the way to camp, just two empousai, which the group of demigods killed. She was 13 by the time she got to camp.
Possessions/Weapons: Jacquie prefers to use a Celestial Bronze spear as her weapon of choice. She got it upon her arrival to camp, when she needed a weapon, she picked up a spear, and it was like it was meant for her. Her prized possesion is a silver bow necklace she got from her mother from Tiffany & Co. (the jewelry store) for her 12th birthday, and she wears it everywhere.
Please separate your history into paragraphs to make it easier to read.
Please add a few ages to the claim to make it less confusing.
Elaborate on the early childhood a bit more, please.
Fifteen is a bit old for the first monster attack of a child of one of the Olympians.
How did a mortal woman rescue a demigod from a pack of hellhounds.
How did Jaquie's mother know where Camp Half-Blood was?
I changed all the other things, but what do you mean by add a few ages?
like specify what year she was on certain events. (since you have no ages in like... any paragraph, it's hard to tell when she got her first monster attack)
Thanks for clarifying that, I added a few, I hope that is enough :)
Who were the group of demigods that came to her rescue? Jay.
This claim is overally good. What age did she get to camp? And did they encounter any monsters on the way? If yes, please add and elaborate.
You're almost there !

"A crowd of hellhounds surrounded her"
How many hellhounds are we talking about?
I said three, is that too many?
that is a reasonable number. make sure to add that in your claim
okay, i added it. i hope that it is okay :)
Can I make her older and have gotten to camp already? Or does she have to have just gotten to camp?
Sadly no. If you want her to be older you'd have to add it in your claim. You'd have to put at least one monster per year. Jay.
- Unless the child could read very well at the age of three, I think that's a bit early to diagnose some with dyslexia.
I fixed the ages, hope they are okay.
As opposed to what Pandora said, I think 3 hellhounds is a bit much for a first monster attack, but 1 would be fine. After that it's ready to be claimed.
"Her prized possession is a silver bow necklace she got from her mother from Tiffany for her 12th birthday, and she wears it everywhere." -- This sentence confuses me a bit. Did she get the necklace from her mother or from Tiffany?
Tiffany like the jewelry store, sorry, I can clarify that.
