Name:James

Gender: Male

God Parent: Apate, Athena, Eris

Mortal Parent: Unknown

Appearance:

Jimmy copy

Personality:

James is a happy person prone to joking, even in dark situations, but if the time calls for it he becomes serious. He enjoys sneaking(which he's rather good at, since as the thieves said “A noisy thief is a dead thief.”) up on people and making them jump. If possible he'll try to avoid combat, preferring to take a stealthier way to solve a problem.

History:

Mist rolled over the city, no air moved. On a night like this few people were out. But there were some.

A man move though the mist, he was nearing his destination, then it'd be a simple matter of jumping the wall and finding where his “patron” keep his money. The man stopped as a voice sounded out of the mist “not may people are out tonight, wonder what your here for?” The man stated simply “walking, now I'd rather not keep talking to the mist”. A woman stepped into the visible area and the man was struck by her beauty.

the man said “perhaps, after I'm done walking we might go get a drink?”

“Indeed” said _______ for it was indeed ________

And so they began dating, and about a year later she vanished, leaving the thief but one thing to remember her by, a baby boy.

James' father died before he was old enough to remember him. James was taken under the wing by a few of the thieves that were close to his father, when he asked one of the thieves about his fathers death, the thief replied "He got over confidant and thought he could enter a house without checking it out first, that and not even the best thief can avoid a bullet at point black range." So even as he was learning to walk and talk, he was learning the arts of a thief. It's not surprising then that James would grow up to become very good at what he did. But being a demi-god his time as a thief was more eventful than most, from a hellhound bounding though the garden, forcing James to make a hasty exit for fear that the owners new dog(or that's what James' thought of it as) waking them up, to a cyclops smashing it's way into the garden, his time as a thief was not easy, but he managed to survive. But even the best thief, gets caught. In James' case this happened, when he was 16, as he was entering a rather wealthy “patrons” house. Unfortunately James discovered too late the man had hired extra security. So as James was climbing though the second floor window one of the men was walking down the passage James was trying to enter, and shouted. James, not expecting the sudden noise, jumped and lost his grip on the window, falling to the ground below. As he landed he heard a crunch and felt a sharp spike of pain in his side. Cursing his bad luck, James began making his hasty exit. Scampering over the wall, his side crying out in protest. When he reached the top he jumped down, already running when he hit the ground. He ran but was unable to get very far before his leg collapsed. He lay there for a short, before growling “bugger” and giving in to the darkness .

James' regained consciousness slowly, and saw a person sitting with his back turned to him. James tried to rise but fell back down grabbing his side and cursing. The person turned around “oh good your awake, hows your side feel.” James just looked at him. “I guess you want to know what's going on. I am Leif, and I'm a satyr, I'm going to take you somewhere safe.”

James' looked confused “wait satyr, like in the children stories?”

“Yes, and no. Now I'll explain more as we move.”

“Move? Move where?”

“It's not safe to stay in one place long, especially not for someone like you, I'm surprised you survived this long.”

“Like me? If this is about the house....”

“No, no, not about the house, I'll explain as we go. Come on, let me help you up”

“why would I come with you? I don't even know who you are.”

“okay then, you can stay here, I'm sure the next hiker will be kind enough to take a lost boy to the police station.”

“Alright, Alright, no need to threaten. I'll come”

then the Leif walked over and help him up and began helping him walk.

As they walk the satyr told James' about Gods, monsters and finally told James' how he was a Demi-god and that he smelled James' and that was how he's found and Identified him. Then he gave James a small dagger like weapon called a dirk.

When they resumed their travel the next day, James felt better, his side still hurt badly, but he could walk on his own. When they got to a hill atop which rested a large pine tree, A large black dog bounded out towards them and Leif looked back and muttered “so close”, then yelled “Run!” James began running, more from a “there's-a-massive-large-fanged-dog-charging-me” instinct than the instruction. Just before he made it up the hill, his knees gave out. Leif turned around and helped him up saying “we're nearly there.” They crested the hill just as the dog lunged, and it his some kind of invisible wall. Leif sat down and James' fell. “that was close” the satyr said “but we're here now. Welcome, to Camp-Half-Blood.”

How did the father die? ~ Owl LittleWiseOwlz - Iris Message Me! 17:16, August 17, 2012 (UTC)

Did the thieves kill his father? I'm confused. If they did, why'd they take his son in?

Arrg, sorry, I left a part of the original paragraph in I can see how that would be read, sorry about the confusion.

Hellhounds can't be detected by mortals. Also, just for confirmation, his father died while breaking into a house and he was in a band of thieves, correct? Catcat Oh, my paws and whiskers! Iris Message ❤❤❤ Minxie ❤❤❤16:43,18/8/2012

fixed and correct.
