Name: Kalia Freya De Milaeno
God Parent: Apollo, Zeus, Hephaestus
Mortal Parent: Mother, Elizabeth
Appearance: Kalia has dark, thick hair; as dark as the mouth of the darkest cave. It falls neatly down her back, the ends touching her hips as gently as feathers. Her tanned skin glows with health; like she's been to Cyprus. Her lips are light pink, showing that she isn't as fiery as she seems. Her eyes are a light, shining brown; they glow like a shining hope in the dark.
Personality:Kalia is very outgoing, but untrusting, so it takes a lot to become her friend. She is secure and stable on her feet...and a lot of other things. She hates anyone who is nasty to her or insults her, and almost automatically considers them her enemy. She was not really expected by her mother, and used as a punching bag by her elder brother, so it is understandable how untrusting she is.
One bright Tuesday morning, when the sun beat down on their backs, Elizabeth, whose surname was never disclosed to anyone for security reasons, was stretched out on the golden sands of the local beach. A man walked up to her in a smart black suit, his face blank, not giving away his expression. He touched her softly.
Elizabeth jerked up at the man's touch. "Why did you touch me!" she snapped, her eyes flashing fire. The man shuffled guiltily, not saying anything; he had not meant to rouse her. He averted his eyes to the sand, pretending to look at the grains interestedly.
"Well?" Elizabeth hissed. "Are you going to explain yourself, or am I going to have to push your face into the sand? Just tell me your name, and a little about yourself." The fire in her eyes continued to blaze on.
The man twiddled his thumbs. How much would he tell her? How much could he tell her? He decided to tell her some of the truth; maybe make up a false name and spin a lie to tell, at least for now. He hadn't decided whether to tell her the truth later, but that didn't matter right now.
"My name is Alonso Fayer." he said quickly. Maybe too quickly. He told her just to humour her; she seemed to have quite a temper.
"Where do you come from?" she demanded.
"I come from Greece." he explained. "Originally, at least, as I have Greek blood in me. Before I was brought here by my father, a rich man that wanted to see the world... but I was left here, on this very beach, when he got fed up with me."
The relationship grew to going out together every night, staring at its wonderful cloak of black glittering with tiny silver stars... watching intensely. The man would play a tune as they sat under the ghostly galleon called a moon, and sleep outside more often than not, letting the cool wind wash over them after the hot days. One of those nights, when the moon was covered by stormy grey clouds, Elizabeth told him a secret she had been hiding the past few days. She didn't exadurate as she did most days; she put it short. In fact, she put it like this: "I'm pregnant."
Although he wouldn't show it, Apollo (a.k.a Alonso) was shaking with sadness. He couldn't bear to spoil her happiness; spill bile on the hope that they woul He couldn't have been overjoyed if he wanted to; he knew what was going to happen, would have to happen as it had with so many before Elizabeth. Yet he continued to play along, pretending nothing could separate them, just to keep her happy. He had half forgotten that this false happiness would be shattered when he was forced to admit his true identity... Later on, as this relationship that would end badly went on, Apollo's baby girl was born, her hair as black as Nyx's cloak. Yet on the frayed mat just outside Elizabeth's stately home lay that same baby, gurgling hopelessly, its tiny fists waving madly in the air as it wailed a thin, pitiful wail. Sewn to the sack it was in was the name Kalia, and then the name Apollo. Elizabeth gasped.
I leave you one request; please name her Kalia. Look after her and cherish her. Apollo.
Elizabeth didn't seem to believe that Kalia was worth anything, and would often beat her, so the 10-year old Kalia ran out of the house as soon as she was able, away from the home she had known, in search of a place that was safe... a place where she could live. She was taken to an orphanage by a man, whom she knew and trusted from a field trip she took in her childhood, where she lived, with Winter Papakl. They never really got along. Nobody did in that place.
She found a place of safety; a deserted cafe. She recoiled when she saw a hairy monster with a single, shiny, green eye.It loomed over her. She panicked and looked around for help. Nobody was there. When it was looming over her, closer, it's clawed hands inching ever closer,a bullet plunged deep into the monster's eye, killing it. A man stood in the door, a hat pulled low over his shiny, shiny eyes..He gave the by-now 14 year old Kalia a package. It contained a steel sword, several different sized throwing knives, and a golden ring...!The woman she was going with told her: "You are a demigod, Kalia."She was definitely telling the truth; she heard the desperation in her voice. "You are the daughter of Apollo.Or at least one of them.I am taking you to Camp Half Blood." They got in a small black car; and they rolled through unfamiliar scenes. The car came to a halt. They were at a nearby airport. They boarded a plane, and then, the woman hired a car and drove her to the gates. "But..." Kalia stuttered as the car door opened. But the woman had gone.
Why would the god tell a complete stranger anything? I doubt a man leaving her would cause her to go insane. How old was Kalia when she left? Demigod and satyrs don't use guns. The true genius shudders at incompleteness and usually prefers silence to saying something which is not everything it should be. 22:14, October 31, 2012 (UTC)
how did she find the orphanage? And is this happening in America? Because for quite awhile now for the most part it's foster care, not orphanages
No, the UK.
Sorry, I just assumed it was America cuz you say that they drive there >.< kinda hard to drive from the UK to America.
LOL where did I say that?
The last paragraph, the monster, then there's a woman, helps her, takes her to camp in a small black car
