Name: Kirsikka Eriksson (prefers Kirsi)

Gender: Female

God Parent: Eris, Morpheus, Deimos

Mortal Parent: Leni Eriksson

Appearance:

Ioana

Personality: Kirsi is a chaotic mess of cold and sad. She despises herself and many of those around her and is extremely stubborn. She is not one to pick a fight with, for she will stare you down and cut you as much as she has cut herself. Kirsi is ruthless when she needs to be, and is constantly angry, though this has been almost entirely engulfed by her depression. Nowadays, to see Kirsi angry is to see a flicker of hope that she mightn’t kill herself, she mightn’t slit her wrists. She doesn’t cry anymore, just looks upon life with a steely determination to be rid of it. At Camp she hopes to either find a cure to her sadness or kill herself and be done with it all.

History: Leni Eriksson was a son of Harmonia who met Eris while she was posing as an assistant at his banking firm. Eris had been attracted to the firm when the last assistant had sent the firm into chaos when she lost the term reviews for all the employees. She had been fired, and Eris happily took her place, making more chaos for the firm. Leni eventually caught on to her tricks and had her fired, but not before sleeping with her, having been attracted to her and still being a single man. As a parting gift, Eris righted the chaos she had done to appease him, and never spoke to Leni again.

Nine months passed, and a baby girl wrapped in a shimmering blanket was left on the doorstep of Leni’s holiday home in the snow. He had been out skiing at the time, and when he returned the child was half dead. He rushed the infant to the hospital out of concern, and the doctors did all they could to save her, which meant intensive care and multiple surgeries for the first year of Kirsikka’s life. She was released from the hospital when she was one and a half.

When Leni returned to his home with his child, he was absolutely defeated. He had only taken the child to the hospital as it was the right thing to do. DNA tests at the hospital, however, had proven him to be the father of the child, and he didn’t feel responsible enough to raise a child yet. He had considered adoption at first, but spending time at the hospital had left him with an attachment to the little girl. He then thought of handing her off to relatives, but again, his emotional bond with the girl prevented him from that. He decided to raise the girl himself, and named her Kirsikka, after his grand-mama.

Leni never enrolled Kirsi in school, not having enough money to do so. Kirsi was fine with this, as she had all she needed; her father, a home and a little dog to follow her around. Her father told her of life when gods ruled the Earth and magic was common. Everything was perfect and both Leni and Kirsi were happy, that was, until she began growing into a few traits she had inherited from her mother. At ten, she began constantly arguing with Leni, with their fights becoming more and more heated. When she would walk through town to go shopping, people would stare at her in disgust and anger. Boys would fight around her and dogs would bark at her. He own dog stayed faithful to her though, the one living being that didn’t hate her guts it seemed.

The arguing took a huge toll on Leni, feeling as if he had failed as a father. He fell out of a stable job when Kirsi was 11, not telling her for fear of her rejecting him even further than she had been.

It was the same year Leni fell out of a job, the year Kirsi was 11, that she had her first monster attack. She had just returned from the store to find Leni cooking in the kitchen with a strange woman. The woman kept twisting her hair around her finger and giggling at what Leni said. Kirsi was disgusted, and, being a brash child, walked right up to the lady and asked her to leave. The woman knelt down and remarked how cute Kirsi was, Leni agreed and nodded avidly. Then the woman's appearance began to shift. Her hair began flaming and her skin grew pale. her brown eyes changed to red and she hissed at Kirsi,

"You'll learn not to keep me from my food."

The woman then grinned and knocked Kirsi to the side, slamming her into the shelf. Kirsi's forehead was bleeding from the impact and she couldn't see straight, though she could see enough to watch the empousai drink her father's blood and throw his bloodied, lifeless corpse onto the ground. She could do nothing, she was helpless and disoriented as she crawled over and cried onto her father's corpse. The empousai hadn't smelled her as a demigod, only her father, so she still had her life. Leni had never engaged in fighting, and he had no weaponry to protect himself, a silly notion for a demigod to have, though Leni wholly believed he would be safe.

When she had recovered enough from her attack, Kirsi wandered, disoriented, onto the street and into town, collapsing at the police station. She was covered in her father's blood and the police were alarmed at her appearance. When she told then what had happened they didn't believe her, but went to her house anyway as they had been concerned about the amount of blood Kirsi was sporting. When they had surveyed the scene at her house they became convinced that kirsi had killed her father. They didn't know how or why, but from that point on they kept Kirsi within the eye of the law. Needing to keep her away from harming anyone, they sent her to her aunt's house in Stockholm, where the law would never be far from her.

Kirsi had never before met her aunt, and their relationship got off to a bad start when her aunt blamed her for her father’s disappearance. She called Kirsi a home-wrecker, demon child and a bitch. Kirsi’s mental state declined from there. Her aunt forced her to go to school at the age of twelve, which attracted unwanted attention from school bullies and monsters. Between the ages of 12 and 16, Kirsi's stae of life began to decline. She was attacked at the age of twelve and again at the age of fourteen, both times only escaping the monsters by outrunning them and hiding in garbage dumps, which masked her scent. She was bullied at school for her red hair and glasses, and she began hating the world. Kirsi began the slow descent into depression at the age of thirteen, when her home life with her aunt was full of verbal and physical abuse as were her school days. Day in and day out for four years this was Kirsi's life. She surrounded herself with a miasma of hatred, anger and sadness, which generally deterred people from her, but only attracted more monsters.

At 16, Kirsi made a single friend at school. His name was Aleksander and he was a satyr, which he openly told Kirsi, and she believed him. She wanted to believe there was somewhere better for her, but most of the time her brain shut her down and she would lapse into periods of extremely severe depression. She always had slit wrists, which Aleksander had seen before on other demigods, but never to the extent of Kirsi’s cutting.

One day at school, only a week after meeting and befriending Aleksander, Kirsi was sitting at her lunch table in the cafeteria when three of the school bullies walked up to her. By this point in time, Kirsi had full well discovered her powers, but hardly used them, as arguments seemed to come naturally to her anyway. This incident, however, was a breaking point. As the bullies began shoving her around she created a storm of strife throughout the cafeteria, running away with Aleksander.

He took them to Camp Half Blood. On the journey they were attacked by three harpies and a hellhound, but they managed to escape both times with minor wounds and scrapes. They reached Camp Half-Blood while Kirsi was still sixteen.

Weapons: Upon arrival at Camp, Kirsi was gifted with an enchanted war hammer, made to feel as if it is half its weight, and a spiked CB shield by some Hephaestus kids.

I'm not overly sure that the Cyclops would mistake Leni as the demigod.

Please add some ages between 11 and 16, and what more happened between that giant leap of time. I see you have some but make sure to explain more.

Scents don't work that way, he'd either smell her as a demigod, or not smell her at all, he wouldn't mistake someone else for the demigod, and he most certainly wouldn't have abducted her, he would have just attacked/killed/eaten/etc.

If the monster didn't smell her at all, why was the monster even near them then?

Gigi2 Brocky Good morning, campers!

Mkay, fixed. Leni is now a demigod child of Harmonia.
