Name: Lexi Knight

Gender: Female

God Parent: Poseidon

Mortal Parent: Alita Knight

Age: 12

Appearance: 5' 3" Slender/athletic build, B-cup with a traditional hour-glass waist. Soft, delicate features with long eyelashes, stunning emerald/hazel colored eyes, cute petite nose and small but full lips. Long dark-brown, almost black hair, goes down just past the shoulders. Light bronze "sun kissed" tan, not too dark.

Personality: Classic tsundere[1][2]. She's also very strong-willed with a quick temper, but very level headed and can usually keep her anger under control. She prefers to fight alone, not because she is opposed to fighting with a team, but because she worries she can not protect her friends from danger while they fight alongside her. A bit prideful, she does not like taking orders but will follow orders without question if it is in the best interest of the team. She will do anything to keep her friends and family safe and protected, even if it is to her own detriment. She does like be a "girly girl" when she can; getting pampered, going shopping, getting mani-pedis and getting her hair done, although due to being a demi-god and the responsibility she feels to the camp, fighting monsters and saving the world with her fellow campers, she would never admit it.

History: Lexi's (human)mother is a very famous runway model and actress. Modeling for Victoria Secret, and magazines such as Sports Illustrated and Maxim. It wasn't just her beauty that earned her fame, she also has a PhD in Theoretical Physics and worked side by side making advancements in the field with Dr. Michio Kaku.

She was on location modeling for Victoria Secrets' new swimwear line in Hawaii when she met Poseidon. When they first met, he presented himself as a common fisherman. After just two weeks of woo-ing Poseidon finally managed to seduce Alita. After she found out she was pregnant Poseidon reveled to her his true Identity and explained what that would mean for their child. Alita knew that she couldn't keep her daughter safe so she asked her father Max, an ex-marine recon, if he would take care of Lexi when she's born. He was a bit skeptical of the Greek god part, but in the interest of his granddaughter he agreed.

Growing up, grandpa Max taught Lexi classic survival skills and how to hunt. Just like with Alita, he felt very protective of Lexi and paranoid, so he taught her basic self-defense. What changed everything was a hunting trip when Lexi was only five. Even though Max had taught her how to use a gun and proper safety techniques, he still only gave her a BB-gun. While Max was tracking a buck, Lexi wondered off a little deeper into the woods and came across a Minotaur that had been tracking her scent for weeks. The Minotaur wasted no time and raised a fist to kill Lexi, but she shot him in the eye, making him bellow in pain and anger. That sound alerted Max and he saw the Minotaur, seeing Lexi in the path of what he thought was a bear, he took aim, and it took five shots to bring the Minotaur down, two to the head and three to the chest. Seeing the "bear" burst into dust surprised Max.

He took Lexi back to the cabin where he set up a few traps and took her to the basement bunker for safety. After Max had set all the locks, he suddenly felt very tired, and passed out on a cot. While asleep, Poseidon came to Max in a dream revealing who he was to Max and explained to him what had happened in the woods. He told Max about camp-half blood and that Lexi would be safer there. Max refused, still trusting his military experience over some camp. Poseidon didn't argue, but told Max he was leaving some items with for Lexi. He also told Max he was giving him five charms and explained what they were for. They all did the same thing, allowed a mortal who wore it the ability to see through the mist. Max woke up thinking that his dream couldn't possibly be real, but when he put his hand in his front shirt pocket, sure enough, there were the five charms, and in the corner were the items for Lexi. Max called his old team for assistance and gave gave each one of them one of the four remaining charms. Ever since the Minotaur attack he put Lexi through advanced combatives in hand to hand and close range weaponry combat. Each one of Max's recon buddies specialized in something and they made sure to teach her they're specialty. Lexi's favorite was when her mom came to visit because it was a nice break from all of grandpa's paranoid training sessions. Sure it was a little boring because mom would make her study, but she didn't mind because at least mom was around for a little bit.

Even though they changed locations frequently, a cyclops managed to catch Lexi's scent and make it to the new cabin when she was seven. It tripped one of the alarms following her scent. Two guys were out getting more supplies and two were out hunting, leaving only her and grandpa. Lexi woke up grandpa Max just as the cyclops burst through the door. Lexi unsheathed the short sword her grandpa gave her and charged the cyclops aiming for the knees (that was pretty much all she could reach anyways). She managed to get her sword stuck in its knee and had to jump back to avoid getting slammed by its fist. Lexi fell back and it grabbed her by the hair lifting her up and sniffing her. Lexi tried to struggle, trying to kick it in the face. Suddenly there was a loud bang and five holes appeared in the cyclops's chest. Lexi was dropped with a thud and watched as it burst into dust after a second bang. Lexi's short sword fell to the ground in two pieces, broken by the cyclops's kneecap before it died.

It took three years for the cyclops' group bent on revenge to finally catch up with Lexi, grandpa Max and his recon team again. They were in a special safe house Max designed and Alita had the best construction team in New York build. It wasn't enough. Max handed Lexi the four items Poseidon gave to Max five years ago, a wooden staff, a gold ring, a digital watch and small card that looked like a business card. He explained to Lexi that she was in fact a demigod and that all those Greek mythology stories her mother told her were actually true. He told her who her father was and that he left those for her when it was time. He told her about camp Half-Blood and that she should head there. He sent her through a secret exit with some supplies and the last thing she heard before leaving was the start of a horrific battle.

The card was a set of instructions, it explained what each item was and how it worked. Just before the card switched to the set of instructions on how to acquire free quick transportation to camp Half-blood, a wounded cyclops came stumbling out of the building and attacked, making her drop the card and defend herself. She killed it quickly but lost the card. For two years she wondered around from place to place, killing the occasional monster that attacked until one day a passing Satyr recognized the scent of a demigod. He lead Lexi to Camp Half-Blood where she hopes she's found safety, friends, and some understanding as to what's going on around her.

Weapons/Magical Items:

1. A Celestial Bronze weapon with three combat forms. It rests as a common wooden training Bo Staff that can shrink down to pencil size for travel. First combat form is a hand-and-a-half sword that can be wielded with one hand so a shield may be used, or with both hands. Second combat form is a broad sword that is meant to be wielded with both hands. Third combat form it splits into two light weight ninjaken for dual wielding. Obviously all battle forms are celestial bronze.

2. Plain gold ring. It has a basic protection charm, protecting the wearer from general weather discomforts (wind, drizzle, cold, heat, etc.), dulls pain - does not completely block it. Diminishes her demigod scent - does not remove it completely. Completely protects her from illness (common cold, pneumonia, the flu etc.)

3. Digital watch. It tells the date and time (obviously, it's a watch) but when the screen is tapped intentionally by the wearer a celestial bronze shield is mystically, digitally appears from the face of the watch. If the shield gets damaged while in use, it will repair itself when put back into "watch mode".

Weapon Preference: Prefers swords and lances, but is capable of using ranged weapons with precision.

Were the bullets celestial bronze that took down the first Minotaur? And how old was she?

They were just regular mortal bullets which is why it took so many to take it down. Lexi was five during the hunting trip. - Gogie (talk) 19:31, April 19, 2013 (UTC)

Only celestial bronze can take down a monsterJoker by NerdXV Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? -The Joker 12:30, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

I respectfully disagree, in the The Lightening Thief, Percy killed the Minotaur with its own horn, and that's just bone. The books also imply that if the damage is extensive enough, just about anything can kill a monster. A monster was even killed by getting hit by a bus. Not a Celestial Bronze bus, a mortal bus. Celestial Bronze just kills them faster, requiring less damage to cause a fatality. If a steal sword were used to behead a monster, it would still die, it wouldn't keep living just because it was a steal sword that cut it's head off. - Gogie (talk) 14:44, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

Yes it does say that in the books, but on this wiki, monsters can only be killed with celestial bronze. So as said above, please fix the issue :)

Gigi2 Brocky Good morning, campers!

Actually, Brocky292, in the guide on claiming it very specifically states that Celestial bronze is a special metal along with silver and that all normal materials such as steal, iron, etc.

"Despite there being Stygian Iron in the books, the wiki voted on doing away with it, the only special metals are silver and celestial bronze, and all your other basic weapon materials, iron, steel, etc." - wiki claiming guide

are accepted. I believe lead, which normal bullets are typically made of (with a few exceptions), falls under "etc.". If we are allowed to make weapons from it, it can kill monsters.

Second point of business, in the same set of character claiming rules it also states

"First and foremost we follow the PJO books for how life is." - wiki claiming guide

That means they follow the rules and guidelines set by the Percy Jackson and the Olympians above all else, and as I stated above, the Percy Jackson books clearly outline the fact that anything causing enough damage can indeed kill a monster. So since my story fits all guidelines and rules and has no issues, it will remain unchanged. :)

What age was she when she arrived at Camp? Also, kindly confirm this: she's been at Camp for four years now, correct? Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

She was 12 years old when she finally managed to make it to camp. Confirmed, Lexi is supposed to have been at camp for four years, I can lessen it if that's too many, I have no problems making her 13 or 14 and having her there for only one or two years. Actually, now that you bring it up, it does seem like quite a while, I'll make the appropriate changes and make her 14. So the reconfirmation puts her at camp for two years if that's okay, again, just let me know if that's too long and I can make her 13 or even 12 and have her just arrive if that would be more believable. - Gogie (talk) 15:54, April 26, 2013 (UTC)

It would be much easier if you stated that she had just arrived. It would be hard to believe that a newly claimed char had been at camp for a year or more since, I would like to emphasize this one, no one knows her. So yeah, it would be much easier for both of us if she had just recently arrived at camp. :) Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

Done and done, all appropriate changes have been made, she's 12, her height and measurements have all been appropriately modified and the timeline now fits a newcomer. Reconfirmation puts her at 12 as a new Camp Half-Blood arrival. - Gogie (talk) 16:36, April 26, 2013 (UTC)

Seven is too young for a monster to catch her scent --RAAAAWR! I'm a mighty kitten! Oops! No I'm not, I'm just Astrid 06:04, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

Lexi was first attacked by a monster when she was five, not seven, and the monster had actually been tracking her scent for months already. Also, I respectfully disagree, once again, In The Lightening Thief It was reveled that Percy Jackson himself was first tracked when was around five (that is, if you don't want to count the snakes his mother found in his crib when he was just a baby making his first encounter much earlier) when a cyclops found him at one of his schools on the playground. Since my character is a child of the big three, her scent would catch a monsters attention quite early as determined by the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. - Gogie (talk) 11:26, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

Yes it does after all say that in the books, but five is still very early, and if my memory serves me correctly, the Cyclops never attacked him.

Gigi2 Brocky Good morning, campers!

I never said Percy was attacked when he was five, I said Lexi was. However you're still correct, it was an attempted kidnapping, not an attack. I wasn't making a point about attacks, I was making the point that for the cyclops to attempt a kidnapping, he would have had to have caught Percy's scent, which means that Lexi wasn't to young for a monster to catch her scent. -Gogie (talk) 01:35, May 4, 2013 (UTC)

A person untrained in archery wouldn't be able to hit the mintour in the eye the very first shotJoker by NerdXV Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? -The Joker 15:11, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

First, thanks for posting, geez I thought my character had fallen off the edit list or something without being claimed. About the history though, she used a bb-gun not a bow and arrow, I also mentioned that she was given basic survival and hunting training. Obviously it would be very basic, she was only five for the first attack. I know even with basic training, it would be a bit of a stretch for a five-year-old to shot a Minotaur in the eye, it was more luck then skill. The Minotaur was going to kill her by hand, meaning he would be very close and it not be a very difficult shot. Gogie (talk) 15:20, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

I believe five is quite young for the minotaur to have already caught her scent, no? It would also be a bit of a stretch, don't you think, for Poseidon to be waiting at the cabin when Lexi was still awake, not mention she was with her grandfather at the time. Next, correct me if I'm wrong but she'd have arrived at Camp at the age of twelve, yes? Now about the items. First, the sword. Does Lexi have control over which combat form the pencil turns into? If yes, how/what does she do? Next, the ring. Was it blessed by Apollo? Poseidon has control over illnesses (unless I somehow got my Mythology wrong) and therefore, the ring would not have the power to protect the bearer from illnesses completely. Does the diminishing of the scent have a sort of time limit? Like say, it lessens or diminishes the scent for a day but cannot do so the next 2 or so days? Also, I believe 'digitally projected' might be the wrong words to use on how the watch becomes a shield, as 'projected' is often associated with 'illusion' or basically anything that can be seen but not touched. I kind of got confused because of that... For how long will the watch need to repair itself and, similar to my previous question, will that mechanism of the watch (self-repairing) have a limit as to how many times it can repair itself? Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

Sorry for the long paragraph ._. I didn't realize it was that long until after I had hit publish >.< Take your time. I've got forever to wait -Demi ღ

What's wrong with the Minotaur? It's tracking is as good as any other monster. I'm confused what her being awake has to do with anything, the history is written in the form of third-person narration, not first person. Of course the grandfather's there, he's the main caregiver of Lexi. Poseidon was there to talk to the grandfather specifically, not Lexi. Yes, she was twelve when she reached camp, that has already been established. The weapon is magical, it's "synced" with her so to speak. Which ever form she needs or wants at the time, the weapon will change based on her will/instinct. About the ring, sure it can be blessed by Apollo if you want. No, there is no time limit on the scent diminishing, it's active as long as she wears the ring, no there is no recharge time for the ring, all abilities for the ring are active so long as she wears it on her finger or on a chain around her neck. They only stop if she stops wearing it. If the word "projected" is so confusing, then I guess I can change it. The amount of time it needs for repair will depend on how damaged the shield became during combat. If you're absolutely desperate for a strict time limit, worst case scenario the shield has gashes and dents in it, the repairs can take up to three hours, like the ring, it has no limit, it can repair itself as many times as needed. The length is fine, I like detailed feedback ^.^ Gogie (talk) 18:44, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

I doubt a 5 year old would be able to so fearlessly shoot a minatour not to mention the regular bullets wouldn't have killed him. Also the ring isn't allowed since it's considered direct interference.Joker by NerdXV Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? -The Joker 02:47, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

As far as Lexi shooting the Minotaur, I never once said she wasn't scared. You don't have to be fearless to take action. If you took the time to read the whole history and not just bits and pieces, you would have known she was given basic hunting and survival skills by her grandfather, so she would've been able to take action despite her fear. About the bullets, are none of you reading any of the previous edits before you just randomly try to poke holes in my character story. I already proved using the wiki's rule and guidelines that regular bullets would indeed kill the Minotaur (refer to previous counterpoint against Brocky292). About the ring, I would like to see the rules about interference so I can modify the rings abilities. However since it doesn't make her invisible to monsters or invincible, I don't see how it could be interference. Gogie (talk) 13:39, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

I just have a few comments and questions :)

  1. She wouldn't be sensed by a monster until around the age of twelve, maybe elevn since you want her dad to be one of the big three.
  2. The minotaur wouldn't be able to die from max's shots unless his bullets were made of celestial bronze (same with the other monsters he shot and killed.)
  3. Poseidon would most likely either send a satyr or dream message max, not come to him directly.
  4. In the second to last paragraph do you mean three years after, because you put three years before.
  5. Why didn't lexi ask about the monster attacks sooner, like when the first cyclops attacked?

That's all ^-^ --RAAAAWR! I'm a mighty kitten! Oops! No I'm not, I'm just Astrid 16:57, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

I'll try to answer them as best I can

  1. If you had read previous edits, you would have seen that I already made a convincing counterpoint using the wiki's rules and guidelines allowing her to be five for her first attack.
  2. same as above, if you took the time to read the previous edits, you would have seen that I already made a convincing counterpoint using the wiki's rules and guidelines proving that what he used was sufficient to kill monsters
  3. That is actually an excellent idea that I would have never thought of on my own, hence the direct physical visit. I will make the appropriate changes.
  4. Sorry, that's on me, I didn't make the sentence structure clear enough, when I said "It was three years before the cyclops' group bent on revenge finally caught up with Lexi, grandpa Max and his recon team again." What I meant was it took the Cyclops' three years to catch up with Lexi. I can change the sentence to make it less confusing.
  5. Since this affected her so young, she just accepted it as a part of life. To her this was a normal thing so she didn't really think to question it. Gogie (talk) 22:29, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

You Have Been Claimed

Logo camp

This claim has been approved as a daughter of Poseidon. You now need to make a page for them and a word bubble, if you aren't sure how to do this you can see the guide here. Once you have done that you can add your character's name to the cabin list located on the cabin pages and start role playing with your new character. If you have any questions feel free to ask a member of the Admin team.
