Caroline Francis was seventeen when she fell pregnant, she was at a beach party with a bunch of her older friends, she was able to enter the party due to a fake ID. Whilst with her friends, she stumbled into a guy who looked around twenty five, unknowingly to her it was Poseidon, the god of the sea. They had both been drinking and soon both were in bed,neither remembering the other when they woke up. Poseidon had left by the time she woke up, and later on whenever she had to say something about him, she only said she remembered a dark handsome stranger. When she arrived a home a week later, everything was fine but around three months after the event, she had begun to get morning sickness, and cravings. After a visit to the doctor she knew she was pregnant, with the man's child.
She considered having an abortion but unfortunately before she could go through with it, her parents found out through the abortion centre calling the house phone to confirm the dates. As her parents were firmly against abortion she was forced to keep the child, but had no financial support from her parents other than a roof over their heads, in fact, in the end, they decided to send her and her children to the holiday house, as looking at Caroline was like ripping off a bandaid each time. They felt like this was a complete betrayal to them. When she finally gave birth, it was to twins, a boy and a girl. She named the boy Lucifer and Michelle.
She raised them on her own, and they had a decent childhood, going to a public school nearby and had some friends but were by themselves most of the time.
